Perfect repeater
If anyone’s buying a wifi adaptor for home, this is like the perfect alternative and cheaper most of the time. I connect it via lan and use it as a repeater. The LAN still works and suddenly you also have more wifi range.If you’re into custom firmwares, this supports dd-wrt, which is an added bonus.Downside of course if no 5GHZ, but when connecting it via LAN to your device and in repeater mode, I’ve had no packet loss or added pings as compared to normal LAN. If you’re all about wifi, maybe it’s better to go for a higher range dual band option instead.

Best wifi router for home and small businesses.During this lockdown every one is working from home. Everyone is getting new internet connection at home so that they can work from home. Some people who run their business from homeI ordered this wifi router so that I can use my laptops ,desktop, smartphones at home. I can work from my desktop or laptop or mobile depending on my comfort.I liked the design looks like a starwars spaceship design. Setting up was little difficult, with the help of a video I have done setup successfully. I prefer only d link products as they have long life. Till date I did not faced any problem. I also brought a d link wifi router previously.

Cheap and best product
Initially was searching for a costly product with good WiFi range to cover GND and first floor, then I realized this product can fulfill my needs.. then I bought 2 DIR-615 router and a 10 meter CAT 6 cable to connect between 1st floor to GND floor.. one as a router in 1st floor and another one as an access point in GND floor. Now all set. It works like a charm in less than 2.5 k.Note: this is not a modem u can’t use it for BSNL.

I cant help but give this device five stars such is its performance for its price.Installed wimax cable Internet recently and this was the only modem with a decent WiFi and a RJ45 WAN port at a very reasonable price.ProsWhen using WiFi i get good range and penetration through walls in all corners of my house even though the walls are very thick.Ive used it for five days straight without switching it off and it hasn’t heated up at allFour LAN ports come handyAutomatic setup of cable Internet takes only ten secondsEasy to navigate firmwareConsNothing much except the Firmware doesn’t provide much options for power users trying to restrict Internet speedfor selected ports and devices but cant expect the same from a modem priced around 1.3k INR

Good strength
It’s easy to install and the signal is fairly good. If it’s a large house it is better to place it at a height where signal could reach every room without directly being barred by wall. I placed mine at a corner in my room and sometimes it’s difficult for our smart tv to pick up the wifi signal. Overall it’s a good buy I would definitely recommend

Perfect for everyday use.
Moved into a duplex house with almost 1800sqft area and it covers every inch of the house and give the full 40mbps I pay for. To a stretch it also works outside the house but not by much tho. I would say it goes out at around 10ft extra from the house, your use case might vary.One star knocked off for making a the damn Port Forwarding over complicated. Back when I used to use DLINK DIR-600M, it was just a few button presses and typing in the IP and boom its done. Now after 1 month I still haven’t figured out how to port forward on this pancake and god I don’t even know if it oped the port or not! Can we just take a step back and make port forwarding simple? With this inferior piece of equipment, I don’t have the time and patience to figure it out! I just gave up and rented a free AWS for my server hosting.

Bought this on an urgent basis. It’s easy to install and configure. Dual antenna provides best coverage in term of network. Routers outer body has a bit rough surface, whic can cause dust particles to settle and stick. Otherwise, it’s a good buy and known name in the router world.

D-link doesn’t require any introduction. After using one D-link router for 7 years I have upgraded to this one. And performance of this one is beyond my expectations. It has a very good wifi range. Wifi network is almost full at every place in my 3 bhk home. Installation is pretty simple. It is available on YouTube also.If you are searching for a cheap router with good speed and wifi range then you can go for it.

I live in a flat and I have his router placed in my room and I get a gr8 range in my hall and other rooms also. The setup is complicated but u can check youtube for it.My pack has 150mbps speed and I get gr8 range from this router.Gr8 for browsing,gaming etc. We get LAN cable in box which u can use for faster speed on pc . Since it is a single band router it shall not be useful for people living in bungalows since we get limited range.hope u found my review useful

Affordable router cum repeater with easy setup
The router is very affordable, compact, and light. Setting it up was very easy. Took around 10 to 15 min. I had bought it for use as a repeater to extend the wifi signal indoors. Signal strength is excellent. Works as expected.

Amazing
Ordered it yesterday evening and received this morning. An excellent device to go far. Using it as an WiFi extender to my first floor. I have a fiber connection with 30mbps and to my surprise it delivers the same speed without any seepage. Set up is easy even to a child. Range is good and signal strength is excellent. Worth every penny. Just go for it.

Very useful WiFi repeater mode. When my BSNL broadband is working I can broadcast the signal from BSNL modem to longer range using repeater mode. When BSNL broadband is down and I want to switch to jio on my cellphone, I keep my phone in a place where there is good network and can easily broadcast the jio network to longer range in house.It’s a life saver for me when working from home. So glad I bought it

It is good for a small house and has pretty well signal coverage but the problem is it quite heats up and the 0.5 A adapter too heats up a hot. I would actually recommend buying it from local market as you may get it for just 850 rupees.

Decent wireless router. Lacks on – off switch
I am using this router as my secondary router. The overall range is good and bit rate transfer is good. Setting it up was quite quick and intuitive. The only thing missing is the on/off switch. This means i have to switch off the main switch everytime. This is not possible as the same socket is used for other things and i will have to remove the cable everytime.

Really a great product within the price range. The router is set up in the hall area of my house and the WiFi signal is a bit weak when I get inside my room and that is one downside I found out about the device and I lost connection all of a sudden 2 or 3 times and it came back in 10 seconds or so (don’t clearly know if it’s the router’s problem or the connection problem).
