Great Wifi
This Wifi has multiple operations mode and can also be used as repeater to extend the range of your current wifi network. It also has dual bandwidth support hence both (2GHz and 5GHz) frequencies is available for configuration. If you are a non tech savy person, they also provide an app to easily configure the wifi setting. If you are a tech savy person then you already know how to login to wifi and configure the settings.

Good for the budget, easy to setup…
The product quality is descent, with hard plastic body and 4 antenas. Although it has 4 antenas, I am not getting enough range around the house. Proper placement of the MODEM is essential.Although the speeds it can handle is claimed to be 300Mbps, in real world, you can expect only about 200-220Mbps.Other than that, I have faced no issues regarding connection loss(due to the MODEM), or any issue regarding that.

As expected👐
Got it for 3899! Previously I had the TP-Link Archer C6 and Tenda AC10, and I returned both of them.C6 is the worst among two. Its an over hyped router with some serious issues. Mainly the 👉”Video Call” disconnection problem. And it cannot handle too many devices either.Tenda AC10 is pretty good and the range is as much as TP-Link Archer C80 surprisingly! 😅 But it has reliability issues plus heats up easily. I have seen many negative reviews based on poor life of the device. That is why I returned it. Build quality Tenda routers are not even close to TP-Link routers.About C80: Pros,1. Looks elegant.2. Less glossy finish.3. Good build quality.4. FAST BOOT🔥🔥5. Nice software UI.6. Quality of Wi-Fi connection is better than Both C6 and AC10.7. 18W power adaptor.Cons,1. After 2 walls (6-10m), the speeds are not that impressive (15-20Mbps).2. In smart Wi-Fi mode, 5Ghz quickly changes to 2.4Ghz after a wall. Use ‘separate mode’ to eliminate that.3. That’s it. 😇🎯🎯 Keep in mind that, for routers, the more you pay the better you get, period! 🎯🎯👇👇👇👇👇👇For BSNL FTTH users, mine is a 100Mbps connection and the crappy single band ONT modem that BSNL provides has only one 1000Mbps port (mostly the LAN-2), and another is 100Mbps port. If you have a connection with speed 100Mbps or more, use the gigabit port.

Disappointing 2.5ghz speed, awesome 5ghz speed
I had a plan of 300mbps from my isp. Earlier I had a router which was only capable of providing 100 Mbps on 5g band, and 80 Mbps on the 2.5ghz band. When I configured this router, I started getting speeds of something north or 320mbps on ookla speed tests and about 280mbps on ps5 network speed test. But the 2.5ghz speed peaked at only 60-70mbps, worse than my old router with 100mbps bandwidth on 2.5ghz. But I don’t have any complaints as I bought the router for high network bandwidth applications like the ps5, smart tv and work. 5ghz is sexy on this one. Don’t get it if you intend to use it on 2.5ghz.

Value for money 2.4/5G wifi but not full duplex gigabit ethernet
+ This device has good wifi range for 2.4/5 GHz considering other products of same price range.+ This device provides around 430 Mbps of WiFi 5 throughput on a budget mobile device+ This device has gigabit wan and lan, HOWEVER the ports are NOT gigabit full duplex. Meaning you cannot send and receive simultaneously at gigabit speeds. When you send and receive simultaneously the 1 gbps bandwidth will be shared sender and receiver and their total throughput will be limited to 1gbps.+ TP Link should mention this in their product description, I bought this expecting I get full duplex (2 gbps switching capacity per port) Ethernet, now I have to purchase separate switch.+ People who have gigabit internet plans should be aware of this limitation, if you plan allows you to upload at 1gbps and download at 1gbps simultaneously then this router will be a severe bottle neck nearly cutting you ISP bandwidth in half

Router/Universal repeater (caution⚠️)
I used it as both wired and wireless repeater for my internet fibre modem.⚠️ Make sure to connect good ethernet cable CAT6E or high for 10 meter and up , with all 8 cores(some have only 4) to unlock the speed it claims.

Amazing performance !!
I was using an old tenda 300N router with a 50 Mbps connection and in one of the rooms, which is far away from the router, in one corner, the speed was around 10 Mbps due to weak signal. After setting up the wifi connection with this one TP link Archer, I am getting pretty much close to 50Mbps speed at the same spot. I guess the beam forming technology is working great, as otherwise I was expecting some drop in the network speeds due to the distance between the router and the device. Also with my old router was experiencing speed drops due to multiple devices connected to it, and with this one the speed is almost same on all the connected devices.Distance wise my device and router are nearly 25 feet apart and without direct line of sight.

Compete review
On 26.05.2020 I installed and following points I observed1. Installation: it is ver easy simple plug and play method2.it shows two bandwidth 5Ghz and 2.4GhzIn any device means tv , laptop , mobile etc,,,3.speed test on 2.4Ghz :Distance test 1: on 2.4Ghz 1cm (only 1cm distance not 1 feet even)from router location maximum speed 40mbps out of 100mbpsDistance test 2: on 2.4Ghz 30feet from router location maximum speed 30mbps out of 100mbpsNow points to be observed :On 2.4Ghz the maximum speed upto 30feet distance we get only from 40mbps to 30mbps out of 100mbps internet connection speed , beyond that much distance it is highly impossible to get even this much speed on 2.4Ghz. so now doubts are cleared.Speed test on 5Ghz :Distance test 1: 1cm (only 1cm distance not 1 feet even)from router location maximum speed 93mbps out of 100mbpsDistance test 2:30feet from router location maximum speed 93mbps out of 100mbpsNow points to be observed :On 5Ghz the maximum speed within 30feet range means from 1cm to 30 feet distance range we can get 93mbps Speed out of 100mbps without interuption, but beyond that 30 feet I observed the Speed is vigorously slowed down to 20mbpsthat menas on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz the maximum distance is only 30 feet beyond that distance 2.4 GHz is dead slow and 5Ghz is 20 to 25 based on fluctuations .Then you have a doubt here then why two bandwidth means some devices support only 2.4 GHz Speed that is the reason but we compromise the Speed on 2.4 GHz so first you check your device support 5 GHz band width or not .Now all douts are cleared

Good for now.
Working well initially. Lets see if it lasts. My previous TPLink router went kaput after a year. Which is surprising considering it has no moving parts. Lets see. I will be VERY annoyed if this too starts working after a year or so.

Range is good for small homes. Great Internet speed. Go for it 👍
Absolutely great Router! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Pros~~1. Can connect upto 3-4 devices at a time without losing much network speed.2. I recharged for 50mbps plan but it is giving me almost 55-60 mbps most of the time.3. Most important, this router is not perfect for large homes. I have a small 2 storeyed house. It gives 3-4 bars out of 4 bars everywhere in my ground floor and 1-2 bars everywhere on my 1st floor. Don’t expect the 5ghz band to reach the 1st floor. Only the 2.4ghz band covers the whole house.4. Flexible antennaes. You can adjust the antennaes as per as your choice.📡5. Had no issues till now, didn’t need to contact tech support.6. Installation is very easy, but while configuring, you must be aware of the settings to keep.Cons~~1. I expect a bit more range at this price.📶2. Speed is great for 5g band. But at 2.4g band, it gives about 35-40mbps instead of 50mbps, but it is enough for me.😂3. The router configuration should be mentioned in detail in the manual so that it will be easy for customers to do it themselves.Final Suggestion~~~You should definitely take a look at this one!😃👍Range is perfect for small homes, you get less signal in 1st floor if you keep the router at the centre of ground floor. 5g band range is a bit smaller. I thought it will be an outdated product in 2021 as it was released in 2017.But it is worth buying now too. TP-LINK did not disappoint us.

Good as an range extender 👍
I specifically purchased it for using as an range extender most of tp link range extender were not cheap and the cheap ones had internal antena which was only 2dbi antena with this you get three 5dbi external antena( not sure could be 6dbi but not lower than 5) , one more tip although it doesn’t support one mesh natively but if you use the same name as your main wifi in the extended wifi settings you will be able to seamlessly roam around your house without worrying about switching your wifi again and again it will merge both 2.4g and 5g signals coming from your main router and extend those same signals instead of creating a new signal so the roaming is pretty seamless only issue i faced was that i wasn’t able to use access control in my main router which is a pretty important security feature idk what i did wrong but i added the mac of the new router it didn’t connect then i added mac of 5g network and also 2.4g network still no luck it connected only after i disabled access control in my main router.
