I thought there might be a communication issue, so I restarted the computer. Interestingly, the “F1” and “enter” keys worked, but the others didn’t. Will return the device.UPDATE 11/24/14 I am changing the rating from one to 4 stars. The device works fine, if you follow the startup guide (NOT included in the box – you can find it on the Logitech website when you register the product). The box says “plug and play” – not quite. Plug, restart the computer (so it can recognize the device), then play. If that doesn’t work, repeat the process. Also be aware that the device needs to be plugged directly into the computer. If you don’t have an available port, it doesn’t run when connected through a USB “splitter”. I would rate 3 stars, but added one more because my wife really likes the keyboard. I haven’t adjusted to the new feel of it yet.

It is great for the price. I bought it in a pinch for work when my bluetooth keyboard started acting up. It works well. Was better than I thought it would be for the price. Some of the keys are not very sensitive but it works well enough. I was pleased.

You get what you pay for. The keyboard is working well and the keys are a pleasure to use with just the right amount of carry.

Loving it so far – cheap and has a perfectly reasonable key feel. I’ve been a programmer for 25 years, so keyboards are important to me. This has a nice feel and has all the buttons where I expect them to be. Might not work for an apple though (but I don’t care about that).I bought this to use at home instead of my laptop keyboard which is good, but has the usual restrictions of a smaller layout (keys in funny places) that a 13″ design leads to.I was tempted by a couple of other chiclet style keyboards, but I dislike the shallower action of the keys.Noise does not bother me in general, so I can’t really comment, but no annoying clicks if I type gently, otherwise it seems to clack as much as any of the keyboards I use in the office.I’ve had a couple of wireless keyboards previously but found they had lag issues from time to time, so a wired version is fine for me in a fixed environment. If you plan to take it with you a design without number keys might be preferable I suppose.

I was looking to replace a keyboard that crapped out after 6 yrs. Since all the keyboards I had every had came along with computer purchases I had no clue where to start and what to look for. I looked at the reviews and ended up purchasing this one.Overall its a good solid keyboard. Basically just plug it in and type away. The only thing I’m not liking is that it seems to be a little more clickie when I type. It would be nice if it was a little less loud since I start work in my bedroom/office pretty early and am afraid I’ll disturb my hubby. It hasn’t yet so I’m probably worried about nothing.

This isn’t just any other keyboard. I was playing with some depleted uranium my friend brought back from Iraq and spilled some of it on my keyboard. I cleaned it up but after that day my keyboard has been acting slightly strange. First, I noticed that my typing speed had almost doubled, I was typing as fast as professional typists! But it didn’t stop, eventually the plastic from the keyboard bonded with my fingers and I became a bionic keyboard typer. Luckily, the keyboard has a USB connector so I was able to apply for a job as a typist for a large company where I’m paid by the page. I am able to type at 2400 WPM now thanks to this keyboard. I have it 4/5 stars because it is a great keyboard. It would get 5 if i were able to remove it…

Great keyboard! Bought over 6 months ago to replace the one which came with a new, top of the line, Dell computer (which came with a shoddy keyboard!).I was looking for keys that aren’t flattened to the point where you feel you’re typing on an iPad-like surface (which the Dell keyboard was beginning to feel like). This one offered sufficiently ‘dimpled’ keys so as to help the fingers stay in place. There is no inherent value in a low rise keyboard for a desktop!!!This keyboard would have received the 5th star had those ‘dimples’ been 25% deeper…But it is really great, and keeps on working after 6 months of long hours every day…Finally, Logitech has great service – which was NOT needed, so far, for this device.

This is my second of this model, after I spilled sticky stuff on the first and ruined it. I liked it enough to buy a second exactly the same. It’s a US-style keyboard, so has a full-sized left shift button, but not the diacritics keys that Canadian keyboards supporting Francophones tend to have. The keys have a solid clicky feel, excellent for a trained touch-typist like me. You can choose to tilt it with the back leg-flaps or leave it flat. I am not a “gamer” – I use this for general personal computing and working from home, and it’s just perfect for those purposes.
Leandra –
Keyboard is very responsive and comfortable to use. I like the clicky noise too.

So I have an older build of the K120. I went ahead and excitedly ordered it again when I saw it on sale, thinking it would be nice to have a backup (some of my keys are getting a bit spicy, even despite cleaning). For now, though, I’m just keeping it in the box and continuing to use the one I already have, albeit for a pretty silly reason, I know: the new one doesn’t clack. I know, I know; it’s silly. But I was really disappointed that the build of the keyboard had changed compared to how it used to be. However, it’s a great keyboard and my old one has suffered far too many abuses, though, so if nothing else, maybe the kiddo will inherit the newer K120. Obviously, it still gets 5* because these things can take a beating and still keep trucking on. If you’re after a nice, cheap, basic keyboard, you can’t go wrong with this one. If you already had one, like me, and want another clacker, well, sorry to disappoint.

I had the mk320 for the last 3 years.. then i spilled beer on the keyboard and cleaned it. some of the keys still didn’t work so i figured why not buy a cheapie to get me along for the mean time. this keyboard is very quiet compared to that one. So quiet i probably wouldn’t have yelled at my ex girlfriend so much for typing so loud while i was trying to sleep. Yes its that good, you can sleep, you light sleeping people out there. I’ll probably buy one for work because it’s a solid piece, quiet and what much can you ask for from a keyboard?
Anthony Shellenbarger –
This is probably one of the cheapest keyboards you can buy. Having said that, this keyboard is perfectly serviceable for most users. There aren’t any media keys (volume up/down, next/previous, pause, etc.), but if you don’t need media keys this keyboard will work perfectly for most users.EDIT:I have docked it one star after some further analysis. After I bought a new keyboard to replace this K120, I decided it would be funny to rearrange the keycaps. While most of the letter keys could be swapped around, I was disappointed to discover that the F and J key will only fit in their intended spots. In other words, this keyboard can’t be rearranged for any layout other than standard QWERTY.

I’ve used dozens of keyboards, of all stripes, to write novels, do work, write computer code, play games. This one, is a joy to use. After so many bad Bluetooth experiences, dropped connectivity or poor battery life, it’s hard to beat a quality wired keyboard. If you’re looking for a wired keyboard you cannot go wrong with this one. With a num pad and great feeling to the keys, it’s simply a pleasure to type on this one.

I went with Logitech because I love the trackball mouse they make, and have repurchased that mouse several times for several machines. This is a great keyboard. I am a touch typist and it rings all my must-have bells for keyboarding:-The right keys in the right places, no silly extra keys I don’t need and won’t use-Plugged it in on my aging laptop running Win10 and it was instantly and seamlessly integrated into my setup-The keys feel good–satisfying clicks, my fingers knew immediately how much pressure to apply, nice finger-cradling curve to them, home row indicators easy to feel with the fingertips.-Nice minimalistic footprint on the desktop–I wanted a full-size keyboard, but no other size-increasing accoutrements. This keyboard is exactly as large as it needs to be, and no larger.-The printed letters, numbers and words on the keyboard are nice and large, bold bright white against the attractive matte black finish of the keyboard.-The feet on the back are satisfactory and angle the keyboard correctly for comfort in typing. One teeny-tiny, but nice, touch that I just noticed: the NUMLOCK was already activated. I never had to push the button. (I don’t know why on earth I would NOT want this activated. Why would I not want my 10-key to work?)

This is a small, basic keyboard with a layout very similar to my Dell Inspiron laptop, with wider (but not taller) Backspace and Enter keys. No extras, such as sleep or media keys. It is small, light, thin, and fairly portable. It stays in place due to the rubber feet and has 2 pop-out props underneath to lift the backside if you want. It has a 56″ USB cord length, more than long enough to snake behind my desktop case. The feel is more springy and less snappy than I’d like, but does have the required tactile click – just more spring resistance after the click than I’m used to.A fine, inexpensive, basic compact keyboard that does the job nicely with no frills.

This keyboard is much improved in terms of the feel of the key strokes, and the overall comfort when typing, as when compared to my previous HP keyboard

I use the PC keyboard for everything….selling online, social media, email, etc. Have only one problem, and it does bother me. It doesn’t have keys/buttons to mute or lower sound when I’m streaming a movie/TV program. My previous keyboard did. When an annoying commercial comes on TV while I’m streaming, I like to quickly mute it. But without buttons/keys to click, it takes too much time to grab the mouse and hunt for the mute icon on whatever screen I have on in the background. This could be a deal breaker.

I love Logitech products, I’ve been using them pretty much since their inception. This keyboard is perfect for my needs and meets expectations! I’m old school, so I’m still using wired devices lol. Plug it in and you’re off. It is what some consider “noisy”, but I don’t mind the sound of keys clicking. I prefer it, honestly. Great product!

Indeed, even though this is just a standard USB keyboard with no additional keys and features (such as volume control), this is another quality product that bears the Logitech name. The keys’ marking are just the right size and look — Big and bold, and nicely contrasted, but not too big to make you think that you must be getting old for having to use a geriatric keyboard. Also, the touches feel right; they are smooth and responsive. Therefore, although definitely not a gaming keyboard, it would make a nice back-up for gaming in addition to normal use.The only caveat I have with this key board is that there is no palm rest included. But other than that, to reiterate what others have said, for the money spent, it is a great product.Note: For those who it matters, this keyboard is made in China.

My old keyboard had to be replaced because the letters were rubbing off, the X kept sticking, and the right Shift key stopped capitalizing the letter S. This keyboard actually looks very similar to my old one. This is a plug and play device. However, I didn’t find it went quite as smoothly as some of my other devices. I have Windows 8.1, and it seems nothing likes that browser. I didn’t want it, but my computer sneakily uploaded it. Anyway, it said it had to upload some files…and that little bar just wasn’t making any progress. I finally closed the window. Happily, the keyboard did work. The computer was sluggish for a little while after I installed this keyboard, but that stopped. During this sluggish time, when I typed fast, sometimes letters didn’t get capitalized or typed. However, all these issues resolved. It is now a very nice keyboard. It is quiet. It is comfortable.

I am a touch typist and computer programmer who spends all day in front of a computer, and I’m picky about my keyboards. When my previous SIIG wireless keyboard began to get flaky, I tried a Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse, because in the past I’ve always liked their design. Unfortunately, the keyboard turned out to be weird, with sunken function keys, no spacing between key groupings, and not enough tactile feedback. The mouse is excellent and I’ve kept that, but I’ve swapped the execrable keyboard for the inexpensive but nearly perfect Logitech K120.I avoided Logitech in recent years because some foolish person in their product design department decided to squish the central keypad down from 3 to 2 keys per row, so that the traditional Insert-Home-PageUp, Delete-End-PageDown that IBM taught us to love back in the ’80s became three rows of Home-PageUp, END-PageDown, Insert-Delete or some such nonsense.Fortunately, it appears that Logitech came to their senses and restored the layout that customers are used to. It goes to show that a company should listen to its customers and not ram a change down everyone’s throats.Anyway, the K120 has brought Logitech back to where they should be–a really good, straightforward keyboard that just works. All the keys and lights are in the right place. The keyboard is quiet, and the labeling is excellent–it’s not glow-in-the-dark but the letters are large and white on black plastic so you can’t go wrong. The function keys and keypads are nicely spaced and your fingers can find them without looking. The ESC key is easy to find, as well.Someone here complained about noise. Unbelievable! This keyboard is quiet. I’ve used quieter ones, admittedly, but this is about middle of the pack, not what I’d call a noisy keyboard at all. Try not hammering the keys like you’re driving nails; you don’t need to, and the keyboard (and your fingers) will last a lot longer.Someone else claimed the caps lock key was too easy to hit. Thus far, I’ve not hit it at all. It has just enough gap that your finger absolutely won’t hit it if you’re reaching for the “A”. It just doesn’t happen. I have large hands and I type very fast and so far, so good. All in all, this is a great keyboard for the money. I’ve bought two of them, in fact. Wireless keyboards are cool to look at, but nothing beats a traditional wired keyboard for performance and reliability.

I got this keyboard because it was around the same price as buying an adapter for my old keyboard. I am happy with the purchase so far, but I was expecting better with all of these rave reviews. It isn’t very quiet. Maybe quieter than a mechanical keyboard, but that isn’t saying much. The keys feel nice and it’s easy to type on (even after using a laptop keyboard for the past few years). It has the little flip pegs on the back to tilt the keyboard up.. I think all keyboards have this but thought I should mention it anyway. For the price you can’t go wrong.

I needed a keyboard that I could use at my job as a software engineer and didn’t really want to spend too much on the keyboard.I settled on this one because I saw someone else with the same model and was pretty happy with the feel of the keyboard.I have been using this keyboard for quite some time, at least a month if not two, and have been very happy with the keyboard. Two of my goals I set out to fulfill when buying a keyboard is that it had to be decently quiet because I work in a office with six other people and I didn’t want to annoy them too bad with my typing and also that it had to have a nice “Switch Keyboard” kind of feel so I could go about typing all day without that much issue.Overall I feel the keyboard has met both of those goals. The keyboard does have a “click” to the keys when you type which is nice and makes the keyboard feel fairly comfortable when typing. Since the keyboard isn’t a switch type keyboard it doesn’t have the loud clacks associated with switch boards though. Which makes it pretty quiet. Not silent, but not loud enough to cause anyone to really get annoyed with the noise. The board is pretty cheap so it is a little flimsy, but I don’t plan on tossing it across the room anytime soon so I think it’ll be alright.I would recommend this board to a friend.

The Logitech K120 Keyboard is about what I expected. It types. It is responsive. It feels good. It has sturdy feet. It doesn’t look horrible. It has lasted for some time (about a year so far, and it is still trucking). I wasn’t really looking for a keyboard that was ‘whisper quiet’, but despite this the promise of whisper quiet keys is a bit of a falsehood. The keyboard hardly clacks away, but it makes enough noise to be picked up by a noise-canceling gaming headset. This doesn’t really bother me (though it certainly bothers others), so if you’re looking for a keyboard that doesn’t cause issues like that I’d advise looking elsewhere. Beyond that this is probably the keyboard for you.

I bought this product in Nov 2016 and I am still using it as of today in July 2022. I am a gamer and a PC power user so my computer has been used almost every day since I bought it and have no problems with this. It is reliable, sturdy, has good build quality and does everything you need a keyboard to do for a good price. They can bury me with this keyboard. At this rate I reckon I won’t have to buy another one for the rest of my life.

If all you’re doing is typing this thing is a 5 star for sure. It’s very quiet and for the price you can’t beat it. Plus it works great for games with only one minor quark which is why I rated it a 4 not a 5. My experience comes from BF3. You can’t press 2 keys at the same time so it makes flying the heli with strictly the keyboard a hassle for me. For all other aspects though it’s great so if I wasn’t such a heli fan I would definitely rate this 5/5.
Irate Retro –
As a computer programmer, it’s very important to me that all the keys are in the “proper” place. When the pipe or backtick keys are moved around I get friggin mad. Downright irate! All I want is a keyboard that works. I don’t want media keys, LCD screens, touchpads, or lighted keys. If you have to look at the keyboard then something isn’t right with it.This one fits the bill. Everything’s in the proper place. It does have the silly Windows keys but that’s the extent of the silliness. Key travel is just enough for positive feedback but short enough that it doesn’t slow typing. The clicky tank keyboards are great but they are too slow — this one’s just right. On some keyboards I’ve used, if you have both shift keys down they won’t allow you to type an underscore. This one handles it fine. (In case you’re wondering why on earth someone would do that, try typing “MB_ICONINFORMATION | MB_OK”… rolls off the fingers better IMHO to use the right shift for the underscore and left shift to capitalize the whole thing.) However _many_ other keys don’t work with both shift keys down on this ‘board. It has never bothered me personally, as the underscore and pipes are the biggies. Just something to keep in mind. The keyboard is supposedly spill resistant. I supppose it might be, and I know I’ve spilled more drinks on mine than I can count. But I can’t say I’ve dumped a mixed drink on mine and been able to continue working with it. Where this keyboard really shines is you can take it apart and rinse down the insides and get everything clean again without popping all the keys off. I always hated that chore on other keyboards. The plastic board inside doesn’t mind the water at all. Just dry it out thoroughly before putting it back together and plugging it in. I’ve been using this model for over 5 years and have only had to replace it once. We like to get pretty schnockered at the office so that’s saying something. These keyboards can sure take a licking. The best feature of all is the price. I don’t mind abusing it because if it conks out I can go down to the local MegaMart and grab another one just like it for practically pocket change. There’s nothing worse than having a high-dollar programmable keyboard, spending months setting it up just the way you like, breaking it, finding out it’s now discontinued, and now you’re effectively crippled while getting used to yet another one. No more of that for me.

I needed a cheap-o keyboard for an old iMac that gets infrequent use. I did not want to spend a lot of money, I just needed basic functionality. The Logitech K120 fit my budget perfectly and actually works better than I was even hoping for.Logitech does not mention, either on the packaging or in the description that this keyboard would be Mac compatible. Technically that is true as a couple keyboard functions for the Mac are lacking such as being able to control volume and ejecting media from your DVD drive. But other than that it works just like you’d expect a keyboard for your Mac to work. And if you use a PC, you’re good to go!It’s very lightweight, dare I say “cheesy” feeling and doesn’t give you a feeling of quality. But I wasn’t really looking for the ultimate keyboard. I just needed something inexpensive that would work and this is perfect for me needs. It actually has a fairly decent feeling in the keys and it worked right out of the box. One thing I do miss is the keyboard does not have any additional USB ports on it but that’s OK for me.It works and it’s a great value.

I very much like this keyboard. The keys feel right for someone who types for a living (software engineer), and the layout is as it should be: a full keyboard will all the buttons in the right places including the number pad. So I recommend this keyboard, especially because the price is so good. The one thing that didn’t work out the way I wanted it to is the sound. The keys are pretty noisy. I have a fairly light touch when I type, and the keys still make a lot of noise. Coworkers have commented on it. This surprised me considering the mentions of a “quiet experience” in the description bullet list, and the other reviewers that suggest it is quiet too. If a little typing noise doesn’t bother you, this keyboard is excellent. If you’re looking for something silent when you type, let me know if you find a good one.
Lyle MacBeth –
Not too fancy but does the job, especially for the price. Quiet and works just fine.

I do a lot, and I mean a LOT of writing. Recently I’ve been wanting a cheap, wired USB keyboard so that I don’t have to move my wireless Logitech K800 keyboard back and forth from the office to the living room. I originally got that keyboard as a couch keyboard, but it somehow became my office keyboard as well. Well, no more. While the feel of this keyboard isn’t as good as that one, it’s still pretty good and worth the convenience of being able to flit back and froth from living room to office without unplugging any receivers or anything. I would say probably the best you’re going to get for anywhere near this price. The keys aren’t chiclet style, as the K800 is, instead being raised and tapered towards the top like your standard desktop keyboard. However, It feels more like something in-between. The keys may look like your standard desktop keyboard, but they don’t have to be pressed down very far or very hard, which is a complaint I often have with the typical rubber membrane type desktop keyboard. One thing to be aware of though is that it does make noise. I wouldn’t say it’s exceptionally loud, but noticeably louder than my K800 and possibly enough to annoy a sleeping partner in the same room if they’re a light sleeper. It’s, at the very least, way too loud to list “quiet” as one of the features.

This keyboard is very basic, works well, and I like the lights indicating caps lock and other functions… but the “feel” is not as nice as my old wireless keyboard. I had to get a wired keyboard because the wireless keyboard (and mouse) would “take a break” at very inappropriate times. The wired keyboard is working just fine. I just wish the “feel” was better. I find myself having to hit the keys a bit harder to get them to work. (and I miss a letter now and then because of that.)

I’ve had this keyboard for over 2 years now, and it is still going strong. I like the feel, and can type long periods with no issues. On a desk surface I don’t even notice not having a wrist/palm rest. My only complaint is similar to other reviews, that the white lettering wears off. I lived with it for awhile, even thinking of getting a paint stick to repair the numbers and letters, but the paint would probably cost as much as the keyboard….I’m ordering another one of the same model. For the price I can replace it every year if necessary…

Update as of 7/2016. This is my third Logitec K120 and the first one was more than adequate. Thought it was my problem with #2 but #3 is even worse. I think almost all my problems are caused by the closeness of each of the letter keys. Also, there is no way to tell if in caps or lower case unless you try it somewhere where it does not matter. Passwords and user name need to know caps or lowercase. I still like that it is wired. no palm rests, not contoured and can be tilted a little bit. I intensely dislike the keyboards that come on laptops. Too flat and not much movement to the keys when you touch them. Wish I knew what to try next in the wired keyboard category. HP’s that come with desktop are even worse.
BiggsTheGoalie –
I finally gave up on dealing with my wireless keyboard and delayed keystrokes…seems to happen with just about every units I’ve tried no matter the model or computer (home, work, etc.). Regardless, it seems a little off to go BACK to a wired keyboard, but it’s much less frustrating as it doesn’t disconnect at all as long as it’s plugged in, and I’m more efficient as I don’t have periods where I’m basically waiting for the keyboard to catch up to my keystrokes. It has a nice feel and I’ve always liked Logitech from an ergonomic standpoint, plus the price is hard to beat. I bought this just for my work laptop and it works great. I may buy a second next time I get frustrated enough with my home computer (also Logitech wireless) and just get another USB keyboard. The one thing I’d say I miss are some of the quick-function keys like calculator, volume, etc., but for what I paid, I can certainly live with that.

Overall, it earns 5 stars. It does it’s job as intended and has no major defects or flaws. All the problems I have with it are simply due to personal preference and because I used to use a larger heavier keyboard.Pros:It works fineUSB connectionCord is a good lengthCons:The little legs fall off pretty easily. I don’t know how many times I’ve had to look around on the floor for the left leg after it fell off when holding the keyboard on my lap.. Key point being after I’ve had it on my lap (easy to resolve by getting into the habit of folding them up). They have yet to fall off while using it when it was sitting on my computer desk.Good or Bad depending on situation:Lightweight – It’s good if your like me and often lean back in your chair and put the keyboard on your lap. Bad if your used to something bigger and heavier, or prefer something with more weight.Size – Hard to say. If you have small hands, it could be a good size, its also easier to sit on my lap to type with. But I’m used to using an older larger keyboard and my hands are big, so many many typos resulted before I got used to this keyboard.

The cupped shape of the tops of the keys and bright white lettering make this keyboard particularly ease to use by someone who’s a bit clumsy and needs plenty of light to see. I am a former journalist, with more than 1300 published articles and 16 books to my credit.

A great keyboard for the price, love the second Windows key on the right side. Decently quiet, but a little tough at first, definitely needs a couple weeks to break in before you can stop pounding on the keys. USB cable is super thin, which is nice on a crowded desktop. Support legs are a little flimsy; you can see the keyboard flexing if you’re a heavy-handed typist, or if you’re trying to break it in those first few weeks. I’ll probably buy a second when I see it on sale, just to have a backup!

I’m an old-school, typewriter-trained writer, and I’ve never gotten used to the chicklet type of keys on laptops and external keyboards, nor have I ever found much use for the FN keys that control volume, switch to external displays, etc. This is a very basic, no-frills keyboard and it does exactly what I want it to do. The keys are slightly curved and feel comfortable on the finger tips, and they have some resistance. I find my typing is much more accurate than with laptop or chicklet keyboards. Works for me.

Great keyboard.Great Price. What more can you expect? The shipping was fast and amazing. Expected delivery date was Tuesday. But it game Monday! So of course that is absolutely amazing. The keyboard itself. Well, its great for its price. But don’t expect some amazing keyboard. The build feels cheap. But it also feels very solid. The feet have rubber underneath, so it will not be sliding around everywhere. They keys are nice and compact, the feel sturdy and are very responsive. However, if you are looking for a quiet office or a silent keyboard. Please look away. This keyboard is fairly noisy.Of course this does depend on the person typing. My self, the keyboard is fairly quiet and smooth. But when my friend was using it, I could hear him typing from a whole different room. So the sound level does depend on the person typing.I recommend this keyboard to anyone on a budget.I myself am using it for gaming. This keyboard survived even the harsh button smashing of Starcraft 2. So I am excited to see how long this will last. For I am a fairly small YouTuber. I expect to be using the keyboard for a while until I can replace it with the K800 keyboard.Great keyboard.Kind of noisy.Sturdy.Great buy.-oNightPineberries

It’s a great budget Logitech product. If you need a spare keyboard or don’t want to shell out 100 dollars or more for a mechanical keyboard it’s a great option. I think the build quality is a bit flimsy, but it could definitely last a long time.

For those who enjoy the classic style PC keyboards, with the familiar layout we all know & love, this is it right here! The K120 has everything you could ever want for a budget price…- quiet keystrokes yet with very tactile and distinct presses, that don’t feel “mushy” whatsoever. There’s a very faint click.- spill resistant (just undo the 15 screws in back and soak the entire top section that comes off easily…and walla it’s just like new again…with nothing seeping into the electronics board at all). I know this from first-hand experience after a fairly major mishap : )- quality made, surprisingly so for the price- minimalist and compact design that leaves a very small footprint on the desk- very nice led lights that aren’t too bright or distracting (pleasant soft green glow)- easily readable letters, contrasted nicely- slightly angled space bar which is comfortable to press with thumb- doesn’t slide easily on polished/smooth surfaces when typingHonestly, there just isn’t a single gripe I have about it. All bases are covered it seems…you can always count on Logitech to get it right. I just hope that the letters don’t fade off too quickly, I guess time will tell. But so far so good after a few months of use. It’s so inexpensive that I’ll probably buy a couple more as spares anyhow.Overall, very satisfied with this model indeed.

Keep It Simple! Which is exactly what this keyboard does. Very simple, no bells and whistles keyboard. No extra buttons for e-mail, internet, etc. I didn’t need this, and knew this keyboard didn’t have them. I needed a new keyboard because my old one was a PS-2 keyboard (not a USB, but with a round plug at the end). A new adapter that worked would have cost me $10 shipped…this keyboard? $13 shipped. Compared to the Dell keyboard that ships free with Dell desktop computers, the key presses are quieter, smoother. The profile is lower, which is awesome, gives it the “newer” keyboard feel. Num lock, Caps lock and Scroll lock lights illuminate just fine. Windows key works just fine. Everything works about it. The space bar is a little louder than the rest of the keys, but that might be me just so used to needed to press harder on the keys. When I try to type softer, the keys get softer, but my typing gets a little slower. The noise from the space bar isn’t unbearable or anything, but is a little louder, and more of a “cling”-ier sound to it. The font and size used on the keys stands out, looks like 18-20 or so Bold font, if you wanted to compare it to a printed out sheet of paper. Would recommend, and would buy again.

I’ve worked with so many KBs, setting up hundreds of computers. I needed a new USB KB to pair with my new Windows 7 Home laptop. (I hate to type on a laptop.) One thing I’ve learned is that unlike other products, KB price does not always correlate with satisfaction and usefulness. I chose this one on the basis of prior reviews. But I hesitated because I am very picky about “feel”. My needs were:* something sturdy, but not too big (like some of those MS internet ones)* something I could pound away at; I am a fast typist* a KB with the necessary features, but not a lot of fancy multimedia keys* had to be USB 2.0* I thought it better to go with a name brand – Logitech, IBM, HP, etc.* And of course price is a factor. So far, I am more than pleased. Has a nice touch, with big keys which are easy to read.Once the LT was booted, I plugged the KB in, and was typing in 45 seconds.Only feature I wish it had would be a special “sleep” key.06/21/11 update. Liked it so much I bought another one.

this is with the price in mind, but for 8.50 this is a great keyboard, it feels nice, but like any other membrane keyboard u will have to replace it after 3-4 years but who cares its 8 dollars, and my last membrane keyboard by saitek lasted close to 16 years, if feels like mush though, my main keyboard is a razer ultimate x with cherry mx blues, 2016 version, and honestly i think i make fewer mistakes with this keyboard…..if you want a cheap keyboard to minimize the cost of ur computer or so u can allocate that money elsewhere then pick this up, its greatedit — so this is the best keyboard i have ever used, i tried that razer with cherry blues, i did not like blues the keys have too much travel and its slower on the spring up than it should be which makes me miss keys all the timei ended up trying logitech g810 orion with the romer g keys because black friday sale had it at 75, while the manufacturing and keyboard is pristine, unfortunately i cannot get used to the keys, there is a deadzone at the very first actuation point where i like to hover aroundim going to consider testing the k70 w/ rapidfires and the tesoro gram with reds, if i dont like those for gaming either then ill be amazedlogitech maybe you need to take this exactly keyboard design like a 1 to 1 copy and make it with better materials and make it mechanical — i think i would like that best

This is a great keyboard with all the standard keys. The quality is good and seems to work with all operating systems. The only thing I can think could be an issue for some would be the sound of the keys when typing. They are quiet as far as when you press them, but when typing the keys do make some noise that is noticeable. The sound seems normal, but it is more than most chiclet style keyboards found on laptops.

The Logitech K120 may not be a feature-rich keyboard, but that doesn’t seem to prevent it from performing as a quality device. Where many manufacturers would offer a budget model lacking in standards of functionality and/or design; Logitech has proven with the K120 that even the “cheapest” member of a product line can positively represent the rest of the group. As such, I look at the K120 with three basic elements in mind: Appearance, Keys, and Durability; while also considering what I’ve seen in other < $20USD keyboards.Appearance: I am of the opinion that cheaper keyboards often look bulky and bulky keyboards often look cheap. The K120 deftly dodges this issue by employing a slim, modern design; aesthetically appropriate for home or office. LED indicators for the status of Caps and Number Lock are a welcome feature not found on all keyboards, much less those within the K120 price-range.Keystroke: A primary issue that I’ve seen with most budget keyboards I’ve used in the past, especially those touting “quiet” factors, is how the keys seemed stubborn to input. Key depressions on the K120 are (probably depending on typing style) sufficiently quiet and soft to the touch, without feeling unresponsive or spongy. There is just enough tactile feedback to offer a satisfying indication that a key has been sufficiently engaged.Durability: Most keyboards, even many that are offered at a much higher price-point, can feel fragile for the nature of their lightweight, plastic elements. The K120 isn’t an exception here, but nothing about it “feels” like an under $20 keyboard. When I factor in the spill-resistant design and 3-year manufacturer’s warranty, most of my concerns of longevity are sufficiently quieted.I have to admit that I might be giving the K120 extra points simply for not sucking; but given the cheap, almost “throw-away” nature of many electronic devices today, I’d argue that doing so isn’t too inappropriate. Similarly, when I factor in a price that almost screams “throw-away device!”; to be granted a set of design standards meeting or exceeding that which I’ve seen from many competitors, I can’t help but to offer an excellent rating in return.*****12/05/13 UPDATE*****I’m happy to announce that this keyboard (and another of the same model purchased around the same time) is still working quite well with regular use at home and at the office. The ONLY negative thing I can say is that one of the elevating “feet” on my work keyboard snapped off and got lost during an office move. That said, a stack of business cards has sufficiently managed to act as a crutch and the overall functionality has not been hindered in the slightest. Also, I should note that I play PC games pretty regularly at home (Battlefield 4, as of late; Skyrim prior to that) and while I would LOVE to have some of the bells and whistles made available by more expensive gaming-themed products, I’m simply blown away by the fact that this thing has held up under such extensive use, day-in and day-out.In Battlefield 4 ALONE, I have logged 235 hours of game play. That’s 235 hours of constant (and sometimes frantic) use; punishing the W, A, S, and D keys as if I was playing whack-a-mole with them. (Disclaimer – I use a joystick for Jets and Helicopters, but still use the keyboard for ground vehicles and watercraft.) I think that says plenty about the build quality on what’s essentially a budget-oriented device. Please feel free to ask questions and I’ll do my best to respond as quickly as possible. Thanks for reading!

I have a good but old computer with a malfunctioning keyboard. Some keys don’t work, no @ symbol, for example, and that limits what I can do. This fills in for the keyboard perfectly. Anything typed on either keyboard shows on screen, so it doesn’t replace the old one, but adds to it. And it came the morning after I ordered it, which was great, I needed it so! All I did was plug into my old computer’s USB port and I now have a full-function computer. What a good buy!

When I wake up i usually make a boiling HOT cup of coffee and sip on it while i browse the internet for all sorts of nonsense. This one morning while doing my usual morning routine i reached over and accidentally tipped my coffee mug over spilling onto my desk and keyboard. I was in a panic since i didn’t have a spare keyboard so i quickly unplugged the keyboard wiped it down and went to my bathroom sink, turned the keyboard upside down and gave it a violent shake in the hope of removing all the coffee from inside of it. I didn’t even bother to let it dry i just plugged this badboy in and to my surprise it still typed like a dream, all the keys even worked without fail. this happened again a month later and i didn’t even bother to shake the coffee from it i just wiped it down and kept on typing like a champ. TLDR: If this keyboard can survive me giving it a boiling hot Folgers coffee bath twice then it can survive anything you put it through. 5 out of 5 would spill again

It’s not fancy, but it works. I’ve had it for a year now and the keys are showing barely any wear with daily use. The N and E keys are rubbing off slightly, maybe 2%. The rest are still looking great. Normally by now I’d have at least a few faded keys.I like the low profile keys and the lack of ergonomic mumbo jumbo. It’s not overly loud, but it’s not quiet, either. I try to get keyboards that are about as loud as a laptop, but those tend to go the way of the dodo rather quickly with the extended use I exert.

As other reviewers have noted, this is a good, durable, and affordable keyboard. Surprisingly, there are no issues with gaming or fast typing. One thing that it does not perform as advertised is its silence. It is not a loud keyboard, but it is not quiet either. The keys on my laptop produce no noise, however, this does. It is audible enough to be able to hear it when watching a movie (although not as audible as a mouse click). Also, it is not “low profile.” It seems like an average sized keyboard, not thin or sleek. It is still an overall good product, with good key travel and feel. Especially for the price!

I’ve had this keyboard for a few weeks now and I have to say, I love this thing. I’m a graduate student so most of my life revolves around writing papers and this is one of the better keyboards out there for pure WRITING. If you have to sit for hours at a time writing hundreds of words in an afternoon, this guy is the way to go. It’s got that nice “clicky” feeling to it that my other keyboards seemed to lack. Hard to describe exactly what a keyboard FEELS like…but I think people who use their computer for heavy writing purposes will be pretty happy with this one. Plus it’s uber-cheap.Downsides: It’s wired….but it feels a bit more responsive than wireless ones I’ve had before. Also there are no media keys on here. I’m not a big fan of having a row of useless buttons to assign to programs I don’t need (like an EMAIL or a WEATHER button), but I wouldn’t mind seeing some volume controls and a mute button on here. All in all, this keyboard will rock your face off.

I don’t typically write reviews because I can’t be bothered to. But I had to out of my way to type this short review out on my new K120 keyboard. It’s quite honestly the best typing experience I’ve had. I’ve never been much of a stickler for keyboards, and I needed a cheap keyboard to help me play Final Fantasy 14 on the Playstation 4, and it worked fine. However, I discovered the true magic of this keyboard once I started using it for writing my school papers on it. My hand experiences little to no fatigue after hours of typing and the familiar simplicity of the set up ensured I didn’t spend too much of my time adjusting to the layout of they keyboard. Quite honestly, I typed this review because I wanted to hear the satisfying “tap tap” of the keyboard a little more because, MAN OH MAN is it satisfying. It arrived promptly, and while it doesn’t have any bells and whistles I can comment on, It’s perfect for students who need a simple keyboard to type in, or a writer who wants to preserve their wrists while they’re going through their marathon typing sessions.DO recommend, and I WOULD buy another one if I needed to.

I have always liked Logitech products. I have a Logitech wired trackball – you know the one that costs $250.00 because it’s the best trackball on the market, yeah I have one of those, and I have Logitech speakers and I have a Logitech web cam. Yeah, I really like Logitech. When I got a new laptop, I wanted a full keyboard for it, so I chose Logitech. That was March of 2016.I have a 17 year old cat named Alexander who likes to chew on cords. He chomped on the keyboard cord enough so that one day, it made that USB connecting noise even when I wasn’t near the computer. I knew that my little furry friend had fried my keyboard at that point. So, when I looked for a new keyboard, I of course chose Logitech. I looked at others that were slightly less expensive, or would have gotten here sooner, but I really wanted Logitech because that’s what my cat destroyed. My son was disappointed that I chose this keyboard because he says it’s noisy. I told him he should be happy that I don’t have an old IBM Model F mechanical keyboard, because those are like listening to a machine gun when the user types really fast. I don’t like silent keyboards because I need feedback, and the Logitech gives just enough in the keys and sound so I know I have actually hit the key without looking at the screen. That’s important when you touch type. The other reason I chose this keyboard is because it has enough keys, and not too many. It has a number pad, and the default F keys (function keys). It also has the print screen, scroll lock and pause/break keys. Yes, I use those keys because I often work in the command line. I don’t need extra programmable keys, and I don’t want a curvy ergonomic keyboard, either. This keyboard is really perfect for heavy use.The attached picture is my 17 year old cord chewer, Alexander.

At the time of this review, I’ve owned this keyboard for 3.5 years, Sure, the letters have worn from a few keys, but the amount of use has been above average in that time, and the keyboard itself is about as inexpensive as it it gets. For the money, it has worked well.Sure, the feel is mushier than a keyboard that uses mechanical switches, but for one with rubberized dome switches, it’s perfectly acceptable. And yes, it has no additional USB port in it for plugging a mouse into, but again, considering the price…Perfect for a cheap keyboard. Don’t expect an IBM PC keyboard from the 1980s, and you’ll be happy.

Nothing to dislike about the the Logitech K120.. first and foremost it’s Logitech. So now I have two K120s. Actually the only reason I bought this new one was because I was too lazy to unscrew the 16 screws from the base of my old K120 to clean out whatever debris I found there from at least 10 years or more of use. There are two up/down lift clips underneath the rear of the key board that lifts the keyboard about 3/4 inch.nice feature.. my wrists feel more comfortable when typing..MY K120 is wired. The other day was so beautiful, I decided to open up the studio for a while. With the direct sun shining on my computer keyboard, I was shocked to notice how disgusting it looked. I banged out a bunch of crud that was hiding under the keys for a while… I’m not sure what it was, but then I thought about it: I’ve had this keyboard so long, I have quit both drinking and smoking since I bought it. The keyboard had been through years in my old smoker’s apartment…years of musicians and thugs of varying cleanliness abd disposition…years of serious neglect. And yet, I may never have even thought about it…because IT STILL WORKED GREAT! So I bought this same cheap-ass keyboard once again, because I know how durable they are to hard use/abuse. For all I know, this one will be around even longer than the last… I’m a kinder, gentler person these days! 😉 Five stars!

These keyboards have the keys in the positions that I like and am used to, with all keys you’d expect it to have on a Windows PC.They are also quite affordable and easy to replace should you spill soda or water on them, or when the letters start to fade after a year or so of heavy usage, or when you get too much gunk between the keys, and you want something that looks fresh. These keyboards do tend to wear off the letter stickers fairly quickly under heavy use, and they are a bit noisy (for people who use microphones frequently). Otherwise I highly recommend them due to low cost and high quality.

great keyboard, has a lot of “click” if you are into that kind of stuff. It is also spill proof which is nice, knowing that the reason I bought this was because I spilled Water on my previous one. This is a very good quality keyboard — much better quality than the keyboard that came with my new Dell computer. It’s also the most compact keyboard I’ve ever used. Regarding the complaints of being too loud or soft or the pressure needed to strike the keys — it no louder, softer, or difficult than other keyboards I’ve used including Logitech or other brands. I tried one of those ergonomic keyboards and didn’t like it — they take some getting used to.The only complaint I would have with this keyboard is that the USB cable isn’t long enough. I had to use a USB extension cable. I didn’t have that problem with my older Logitech or Microsoft keyboards.
Jane Chan –
Repetitive stress on my finger joints from long hours every day working at computer prompted me to search for a keyboard responsive to light pressure (in contrast to my husband who prefers keys that feel substantial and yield a firm, audible click). This one fit the bill, in the layout I favor. Other things I like:1. quiet keys.2. Slim profile.P.S. about the feet: yes, one came off but it didn’t break. I re-inserted the foot into the slot. Well-place tiny piece of duct tape prevents this altogether. In summary, This keyboard fulfills all my requirements. At this price, I don’t ask it to taking bashings or to survive the next tsunami.

Its a great keyboard, exactly what I was looking for. Cheap, quiet, correct size, USB, 104 keys. Its not as quiet as its advertised, I’d say a 4.5 on the loudness scale (10 being IBM Model M, and 0 being absolutely silent). but its a great office keyboard with all the keys that you want and none that you dont need. I definitely recommend it.If you’re looking for a performance gaming keyboard, or some keyboard that you’re going to really enjoy for the long-haul, I suggest elsewhere. The keys are painted on, so in time they will wear out. It is very lightweight, so you know keys and legs are going to break. Then again, its not supposed to be that kind of keyboard, just a plain ol’ keyboard that probably an office needs.

In 1974, I started learning the piano. In 1976, I started learning to touch-type. As a result, I’m a bit heavy-handed when it comes to typing. To say my style is “deliberate” would be like saying the ocean is “damp” or the sun is “warm” – I’m somewhat abusive towards keyboards. While the little extendable feet to put the keyboard at an angle broke off in early 2013, the keyboard itself has served me quite well, through many MMO scenarios requiring a variety of keystrokes to get the jobs done. I think I got the 120 in 2011 to replace an earlier 120, or it was the next version of a similar Logitech keyboard. Frankly, Logitech is the manufacturer of choice, when I need an input accessory.Anyways, my (current) 120 keyboard is on its last legs – it is intermittently losing connection with the USB hub, requiring me to unplug/replug it into the USB hub. I’ll be typing along, and then suddenly, nothing from the keyboard is reaching the computer, until unplug/replug. Almost 4 years of prolonged daily use, in a house full of kids and cats, and only occasionally turning it upside down to shake out the accumulated gunk, and it’s FINALLY dying. For an under-$20 keyboard, I consider that a job well done. I just hope it will limp along until the replacement arrives.

Been using this keyboard for a little bit, and I think it’s pretty good for the price that you pay for it. The people that are ripping on it for feeling cheap and flimsy (it really isn’t that flimsy) should probably consider that they are paying a pretty low price for it. If you want something more sturdy, pay more money. No reason to knock off multiple stars for this.I use it mainly for typing up work and gaming (anything from Diablo 3 to Battlefield 3). I recently spent about 750 dollars to build a decent rig that fits my needs, and I’ve never been one to spend a lot on the mouse or keyboard, so I went with this one. I read a couple of reviews stating how the keys were super loud, but I think sometimes people exaggerate a little bit in these reviews. The keys aren’t super quiet, but really not as loud as some reviews say. However, I do understand that sometimes people get a broken/bad one and that may be why. My tower does have 3 fans running and a slightly louder Western Digital hard drive, so that may contribute to my keyboard sounding quieter. The two plastic stands on the bottom aren’t exactly heavy duty but not exactly flimsy. Unless you have massive hands or you are really rough with your stuff, they will suffice through normal use.All in all, I’ve had no problems and I recommend this keyboard for everyday use. The thing you have to keep in mind is how cheap it is. If you want something more durable, pay more. Simple as that.

I recently received a hand-me-down computer from a friend. I had an extra monitor lying around but with a recent move I didn’t have any old keyboards around. I wanted a good basic keyboard and this one fit the bill nicely.I don’t know how to say it differently but this is a good basic keyboard. It gets the job done well. I love the fact there’s no special bells or whistles. There’s fn key which is a huge improvement to my last keyboards which always insisted on adding keyboard buttons I had no use for.I’m not sure I’d recommend this for someone who needs an ergonomic keyboard but other than that I’m quite happy with it.

The keyboard works well and is satisfying to the touch. It has all the important controls in a good format. Volume control buttons would have been nice.

The K120 is a nice keyboard suitable for the average user. It plugs into your USB port and should not require any additional Windows drivers. It has all the normal function keys, and a 10-key numerical pad. It has only one level of inclination, so you will have to okay with using the keyboard flat, or slightly inclined. Even with the incline legs extended, my wife prefers more of an incline, so she has to prop the keyboard on top of a thin book (or her laptop) to get the right angle.

Well you can’t beat the price. I learned to touch type (with all my fingers) in high school so I don’t need to look at the key letters. But if you have to look at the letters, well I am thinking that the letters on the keys of this keyboard are going to wear off real soon. They are only a decal pasted to the key. So I am expecting that they will wear off within a few months of typing the way I go at it. Of course the most used keys will go first. I would suggest that if you want your key letters to remain visible you could CAREFULLY apply clear fingernail polish over the decal. But if you get fingernail polish down between the keys you will have a mess. So I suggest this with trepidation.

Have ordered dozens of this over the years, and they work perfectly fine for every purpose! The little feet tend to break on the back, but I’ve learned to replace them with the metal loops from binder clips, in fact I usually swap them out as soon as I get a new K120 keyboard (I used to work service desk at my university and ordered a lot of these things).

The Logitech Keyboard K120 is very light in weight, typical of your rubber dome technology used beneath it’s keycaps. This is a standard sized keyboard, roughly 2.2cm center-to-center spacing. It has very light keytouch, so if you are elderly, or if this is for a child, then finger strength requirements are minimal.LAYOUT 5: This is the standard 104-key layout. The full-sized Backspace, Tab keys and spacebar make for familiar typing. This is somewhat of a space-saving design, with minimal ridges around the sides and bottom corners of the keyboard. If you are a lazy wrist-rest like me, then your area of your palm below your left pinky will have you executing numerous sequences where is any key you happened to by typing at the moment where you inadvertently held down the key. Cursor controls, Home-End and Page control keys are in their normal configurations so there is nothing new to learn. LEDs are bright for the 3 lock modes, and the 10-key pad is right where you expect it to be.LOOK 5: The letters are printed with bright white lettering and numbering, so it works well in typical office lighting.DURABILITY: 4 I cannot speak for this at this time as it has been in use only for short while. The first one ordered was dead upon arrival, not working on any PC into which it was plugged. This second sample has been flawless in its operation.FEEL 3: This is a rubber dome keyboard, so keypress force is light. If you are a strong typist then you will bottom out the keys with ease, which can actually slow you down. Even the Spacebar has the same tension as all of the other keys. For light key action the return speed on the keys is fast enough to satisfy all but the fastest of typists. Return speed is still higher on full mechanical switched keyboards.SPEED 4: I type 70 WPM, so this is a fast keyboard to me. To those typing faster, say near 90 WPM, this keyboard may force you to make mistakes or skip characters. Rubber dome atop a resistor network isn’t the fastest recovering keys.STABILITY 4: This isn’t a rigid keyboard, and it is easily twisted. However, for everyday use it may be fine. There are the typical flip-out tabs below the front of the keyboard allowing the user to incline the board. The rubber “feet” strips offer plenty of grip when the keyboard is new. However, they become slipperier as the keyboard ages and picks up a coating of dust. Cleaning these feet regularly will ensure the keyboard won’t slide on you.SOUND 4; This is a silent keyboard. Rubber dome technology by design is quiet. There is minimal key rattle if a key is pressed hard and quickly released. With careful typing the user can keep sound levels below (<) 60 dB and as high as 70 dB if really pounding the keys, the latter which would be rare. This keyboard is rated on quietness being a desired feature.VALUE 5: An $11+ keyboard is well worth it as compared to mechanical keyboards which can cost >$100.CONCLUSION: Enthusiastically recommended. AN $11 Logitech Keyboard K120 is excellent both for home or office use. It is quiet, fast and very affordable. I will attempt to remember to do a longevity update in a year. Thank you for reading, and I hope this review is helpful to you.

Have been using this keyboard for few days and so far really happy with it. It is simple, no extra buttons to clutter the keyboard, keys are of a comfortable height. A bit quieter than a regular keyboard maybe, but it was louder than I expected after having read the reviews.A couple of things I wish were different in this otherwise perfect keyboard:-The font on the keys kind of bother me, the letters are bold and too rounded – this gives a Comic Sans-y feeling which I think doesn’t look very good.-The top row starting with the Esc key is a bit shifted to the right compared to the bottom rows. It isn’t too hard to reach the keys after you get used to it, but it is significantly harder to do button combinations like Alt-F4 and Ctrl-F4, compared to other keyboards.
MacT –
I don’t normally write many reviews, but I’m so pleased with this keyboard I thought it might help someone like me who is trying to make a decision. I telecommute and work in IT, so I’m very hard on keyboards. I’ve had this one for a couple of days now and I’m extremely satisfied with it. The numbers and letters are easy to read; the slim profile fits my keyboard tray perfectly; the feel of this as I type is very comfortable and responsive. If this manages to live up to my pounding I’ll come back and make it 5 stars. So far, I am glad that I purchased this.
MyReview –
For a wired USB keyboard it is hard to go wrong with this keyboard. The keyboard overall feel is a little cheap but it does work better then some of the other USB cabled keyboards I have tried. The key press feel is a little springy then what I like exactly but the buttons press from all angles without issue (this is where other USB keyboards I have tried seam to have issues. The shift keys and space bar on some keyboards, NOT THIS KEYBOARD, just don’t work unless you press right in the middle of the keys). This keyboard seams work work fine even if you do not press exactly in the middle of the key, which is how a keyboard it should work. Overall this is the best USB cheap wired keyboard I have found.I would give it five stars if the press of the keys were not so springy. It just seams like the key press feel could be better.

This is a great keyboard if you’re looking for something simple- no frills, no ‘extras’- just a keyboard. It doesn’t have any function keys, or internet buttons or volume control & I don’t mind that at all! I think sometimes we get so focused on cramming as many features as we can into a product, that it’s original function is lost or degraded.Logitech makes decent products anyways, but this is (for the price) one of their best offerings (in my humble opinion). I used to have a ‘fancy’ keyboard with all the extras & half the buttons never worked. It was wireless & I had such trouble trying to keep it connected so I went shopping for a new keyboard- however, at the time I was low on funds & so I went with the ‘cheap’ option (this keyboard) thinking of it as a stepping stone to a better model, when I could afford it. I’ll tell you what- you can’t pry this baby away from me!!Not to mention it makes a very satisfying ‘soft click’ sound when you type, like keyboards used to- in the good ol’ days!

A welcome replacement for my second Logitech K740 that kept popping off keys. I miss the mute/volume keys and the audio player controls, but simply having a full set of keys and no nubs to have to press where keys used to be is a blessing. This is a simple keyboard but even if it only lasts a few weeks I will be happy. Buying it on Prime and using bonus points made it virtually free anyway, so I have nothing to complain about.UPDATE after a week of heavy use: I find this keyboard comfortable to use and allows fast typing once again (missing key caps on my old keyboard was very frustrating to someone who types fast in a creative mode, so it is a freedom that I’d been missing).I do find that a few functions are different or altered on this keyboard, however, on specialized applications… for instance, on my GOM player I can no longer use the control (numberpad) functions the way they should be, which is frustrating. Because of that and the lack of audio function keys, I’ve decided to buy another keyboard for everyday use and save this one for emergency situations. I’m not complaining about it though, because the price was so good.

Bought this keyboard to be able to game at night without waking my girlfriend up. They keys are super quiet and at the same time feel almost similar to my mechanical keyboard; hence why I need a quiet keyboard for at night. It works, but I think after some time of use the keys lettering and #s will fade from use. But personally, I know the entire keyboard by heart so this is not even an issue at all. It feels exactly what a 15 dollar keyboard would feel like, cheap plastic. But so far after few days of consistent use I have not run into any problems yet. PnP drivers, and nothing about this keyboard needs addition work to set-up. Worked right out of the box, very straight forward keyboard. Average user, this works, no need to spend any more money on a keyboard for simple use.I’ve always enjoyed Logitech products, they make good stuff for a nice price. My 7.1 speaker set-up is also Logitech. This is a company I always can trust to deliver “bang for your buck”.

For my purposes, this inexpensively priced keyboard works just fine. It is so much better than the keyboard that came from the computer store with my desktop PC. It has a very good feel to it. The keys have a kind of “rubbery” feel, the proper amount of resistance when you strike them. The layout is great. I like that you can plug it in to a USB slot. The keys are not especially big, but they are big enough. If there is a drawback, I would say that, ideally, the keys could be larger.I have had a lot of trouble getting the right keyboard and mouse. Several more expensive keyboards I have tried were a lot worse. They were supposedly great from an ergonomic point of view, but I found them very hard to type on — configured so that it was hard to reach the keys. This inexpensive keyboard works well, which is not to say that are not better ones out there — I’m sure there are.Supposedly, the keyboard has a “spill resistant” design. Not true; at least, doesn’t apply. Be extra careful not to spill anything on the keys. The slightest bit of liquid spilled on the keyboard will jam the keys and it will become unworkable. Trying to clean up underneath will not help.

It’s a.. solid keyboard. No monkey business, but that also means no Function key, which I thought was pretty much essential with today’s computers. It feels a bit cheap and plasticky and the rebound is a bit slow, so it’s not the most tactile keyboard. It’s actually a bit uncomfortable having to press down and bringing your finger back up with little help from the rebound action. I got this keyboard because the battery in the wireless one died (K750 Wireless Solar Keyboard), and upon replacing the “irreplaceable” battery, it still doesn’t work, so the keyboard itself was gooched.

Honestly, it’s a pretty standard keyboard. However, what I like about this model is that despite being cheap, they REALLY last a while.Let me explain.I had this model previously. Exactly the same type, down to the same button placement and all. It lasted me almost 6 years of use. The only reason I replaced it is because I wore down the buttons from overuse, and the space bar was coming off if I typed on it too hard. Heck, other than that it still worked. The only reason I replaced it was for aesthetic reasons, and I figured the price was worth it. I now use it on a backup PC I have in my garage in case I need to look up information when I’m working on projects. So yea. For the price these things last forever if you treat them nicely.

I had to have the keyboard sent to my daughters for Delivery. The packaging arrived horrifically damaged. I think they should definitely find another shipper. The package was sliced open, and so I have no idea how or why? Someone definitely wanted to see what was inside. My daughter removed it from the packaging, and the actual box it was in seemed fine. I bought it home and it works.

I use this keyboard at work for 8 hours a day and now I use it at home too! super simple, wired keyboard – no frills which is my favorite part. It just works. Ergonomically, I’ve never had any issues with it. The flaps on the underside can be use to keep the keyboard at an angle or leave it flush on your desk. USB-A cable is quite long.Probably wouldn’t use it for gaming, but as an all around work keyboard, I don’t see you getting a better bang for your buck

5 out of 5 would spill again

exceptional. Makes me type faster with less resistance. There is a much appreciated soft tactile mechanical key press sound, the space bar and the bigger buttons like return, enter for calculator keys produce a kluck sound while the other a laser like mechanical klick klack that you can “feel”. Forget chicklet keys, or other keys or digital keys on iphones or on screen keyboards that I was using while waiting for this one as my old old keyboard 90’s style just went dead and I was panicking. I was looking for a value budget keyboard, I don’t know about the more expensive ones, I don’t need led light up buttons or other fancy gimmicks on the keyboard, I was really considering this other microsoft keyboard in the same price range, Saw a video its got a calculator function button that you press and pop goes the microsoft calculator program, but after some days thought, I dont even use computer calulators that much, and there is a sound controlling function too, but appearantly I heard it just control windows media player, forget other players. Apple has the monopoly advantage over their computer systems, and its a good thing PC’s aren’t that monopolistic, I don’t really feel for the chicklet keys spaced out on the apple keyboards, I have a asus netbook for my mom on which I am typing this review which has the chicklet keys, the key presses are so disturbing now that I found logitec, they don’t inspire as much confidence as with the logitec, or maybe that the size of the keyboard is different, the netbood being smaller less confidence bulding while the logitec a standard size brings more confidence when typing, the logitec keyboard is one workhorse of a keyboard, each key press is like a rush or tornado and continuation to other key presses is like music, I like everything about it, its sleek, low profile there is the front raise things so its not flat, in addition each key is ergonomically designed, there is the concave convex subtle element which I think adds the perfect touch, makes it interesting, and the lettering is high contrast, placement of the lettering on the individual keys is good that its not too disatracting, on my netbood the letting is smack dap on the center of each key and well now I see that it makes a difference. the logitec is not disturbing, its very pleasant to type on to look at. its a standard keyboard made for the modern computer user.

Best cheap keyboard I have used. I go through a lot of keyboards so I get there cheap ones. Several have broken due to poor quality control within a few months. This Logitech one is holding up very well and has a better then average (for this price range) keystroke feel.Need a solid no frills workhorse keyboard, look no further. I would give it a full 5 stars but the key stroke could be better. A bargin for under 10 bucks but not so much if over 10. Call it 4.5 stars, slight room for improvement.

The letters on my old keyboard were disappearing fast with wear so I decided to replace it. It is hard to find a keyboard to meet my fussy wants but this one is probably good enough. The keys work and it seems to be built well enough. I suspect this is true of most keyboards these days. Here are a few of the issues I get fussy about:I use a keyboard tray. The sliding drawer has a wrist rest so I want a keyboard with a straight, thin front edge. This one has a bit of a curve so it is always moving around in my drawer. This is a critical requirement. I cannot use keyboards with wide front lips nor with goofy curves on the front edge. The curve on this one isn’t too bad so I can live with it. Good enough.I was used to a large “Enter” key and this one is smaller with the “” key where part of the Enter key was on my old keyboard. This means I often hit the “” key when I want Enter. It’s annoying but I know I’ll get used to it in time. Again, less than ideal, but good enough.I’m used to a certain arrangement of the Print Screen, Scroll Lock, Pause, Insert, Home, Page Up, Delete, End and Page Down keys. This keyboard matches what I’m used to so is great in that respect. Likewise the four arrow keys are where I expect them as are the keys of the numeric pad which I rarely use except to enter odd symbols such as é, ¢, °, etc.I would like better tactile feedback on the “F” and “J” keys to align my hands on the home row. This keyboard has a tiny ridge at the bottom of those letters but it is nearly undetectable and thus effectively useless. I can live with the lack. Good enough.I would love to have larger letters on the keys, high contrast colors like the black on yellow jobs I’ve seen, or maybe back lighting. I couldn’t find a keyboard with those features that met my more important wants so this one is again, good enough.I saw a keyboard with LCD keys so that the keyboard can be used as a normal one, a Dvorak keyboard or any other type you want and the keys are always labeled correctly. I love it! but it was pretty expensive (fair enough) and, worse, didn’t meet my other important needs so I had to do without. This one is, guess what? Good enough.I would dearly love to have some extra keys that could be easily programmed to enter simple strings automatically. I don’t like to reprogram the normal letter or function keys as too often they are already used for some other function that I may want someday or else I have to hit three or more keys at once which is a nuisance and hard to remember. A second row of programmable keys would be super. Unfortunately I have, again, been able to find any keyboards have such extra keys and that meet my other needs.I recently tried to find a keyboard for my husband. He doesn’t use a keyboard drawer and is having problems with the cats walking on his keyboard when he is away from the computer. I have seen keyboards in the past that had a plastic lid that hinged open to use the keyboard then closed when not in use to protect it. I was unable to locate any such keyboards for sale any more. Hello out there! People still have pets!In my search I quickly rejected many keyboards because they were too small, had too few keys (How can one use an 87 key keyboard these days?) were some strange supposedly ergonomic design, or were built for some special purpose. There are a LOT of keyboards on the market but I found it quite difficult to find one that was acceptable. I’m a long way from ecstatic over this one but it is, yes, good enough.

It’s quiet, tactile, low travel and actuation. Making it equally nice for gaming and typing. Costs little to occasionally nothing, lasts many years if you have q-tips. Literally screw all other keyboards, embrace K120.

I have been using a Logitech K120 wired keyboard since 2011 and love the touch. My last one lost some of its printed letters, so I decided to replace it. I was pleased to find the model still available. Very happy with my purchase. Works great and has a nice touch. I do not like the flat keyboards found on most modern laptops, and this keyboard is just what I needed. It is a bit noisier than my last one, but that does not bother me.

Decent keyboard for light office/home use
Don’t expect too much from this keyboard. It’s a decent keyboard in this proce range( value for money). If you want a keyboard for gaming then this is surely not the one. Consider buying something else. This is best for regular office work.

I’ve purchased three of these since this model was introduced, and it’s just a rock solid keyboard, good tactile feel to the keys, never has any issues with sticky keys, and it doesn’t need any stinking batteries (never have them around when a wireless dies, right) couldn’t be happier with the performance. Hands down bang for the buck winner in my book. And Logitech is a legit brand with lots of cred on computer accessories. Can’t go wrong with this one.

I am a minimalist at heart. For the most part, I like things that work the way they advert, that are not ridiculously over priced for its function, and that are of a certain quality for the price I pay. This keyboard fits all of the above. I did own a Logitech keyboard that WAS quieter than this one – but this one is much quieter than MOST at this price. That being said, it eliminates much of the clack, clickity, clack but is not 100% quiet (yes those DO exist, you just need to find them and pay way more). The size of this keyboard is just right: 18″ horizontally 6″ vertically and 1/2 an inch thick. It is no non-sense basic (no extra features like vol control, internet hotbuttons etc). The letters on the keys are a bit bigger than most which I like (I wish Logitech would make a whisper quiet, affordable keyboard like this with the letters taking up each entire key) but that being said, they are very visible. The feedback is just right: regular pressure to the keys makes it a more natural feel. I miss my old Logitech that was ultra quiet and inexpensive but died to an OJ spill that would have been too much for any keyboard and of course, that model is discontinued and no where to be found on the internet >:[This keyboard is its runner-up.

The cupped shape of the tops of the keys and bright white lettering make this keyboard particularly ease to use by someone who’s a bit clumsy and needs plenty of light to see. I am a former journalist, with more than 1300 published articles and 16 books to my credit.

For serious writing I use a Unicomp keyboard, but it cost me about $100, in contrast to the 15 bucks I paid for this Logitech device. Don’t get me wrong — the Unicomp was worth every penny (great tactile and auditory feedback, and built like a tank). But for a backup machine, or for a computer that doesn’t get heavy keyboard use, I have no hesitation recommending the K120. The keys are reasonably responsive and quiet, and the Backspace key and Function keys are full-sized. There aren’t any bells and whistles, but I didn’t want any. For ordinary, light use you can’t go wrong with this one.

The keys are a little small (which is weird because the keyboard itself is large) and it’s not really ergonomically designed or anything, but for the price it’s an excellent value. I had the keyboard on laptop stop working and the replacement part was about $400 and shipped in 1-2 months from Asia. This was a great workaround for now and does the trick for 1/40th of the cost so no complaints here.

It’s a good, solid, basic, no frills keyboard that if it gets spilled on or anything, is inexpensive enough to replace without worrying about it. I’ve had good luck with Logitech in the past and look forward to to more of the same.+ Cheap, feels durable, quite quiet. “Shallow” keys minimize bulk if you use this with a laptop or other portable device.- I miss the “deeper” (heightwise) keys on my old keyboard. I’d love an analog volume control knob. Those are basically unheard of these days with digital touchbuttons that always seem to have a 2 second delay.

I have been using K120 keyboards for many years. Good feel, no surprises. They typically last until I pour liquid on them, which they tolerate poorly. Then, I buy another. Great functionality for the price. This one had odd behavior early on, but I’m not ready to write a definite review. I got three and, if the sporadic odd behavior (keys give characters they shouldn’t or are nonresponsive, usually at startup), I’ll try another of the three to see if it’s the keyboard. For now, it could be a lot of things. Anybody have similar experience/advice?

Nothing to dislike about the the Logitech K120.. first and foremost it’s Logitech. So now I have two K120s. Actually the only reason I bought this new one was because I was too lazy to unscrew the 16 screws from the base of my old K120 to clean out whatever debris I found there from at least 10 years or more of use. There are two up/down lift clips underneath the rear of the key board that lifts the keyboard about 3/4 inch.nice feature.. my wrists feel more comfortable when typing..MY K120 is wired. I like the all the time PC power.

This keyboard is just what I hoped for .. great price .. great quality .. and it really does have silent keys, which is also great for my use. I do a lot of typing on my keyboard all day long and this new keyboard has worked flawlessly since its arrival a couple weeks ago.My original keyboard that came with my Dell desktop was good, giving me about 2 years service before keys began to stick and create problems. The original was a bit more noisy too, which took some getting used to.I can hear myself typing on this new keyboard, but the keys themselves are not adding any additional noise by making any “clicking” sound. I love this keyboard so far. It came very well packed and arrived on time withing a couple days thanks to my “Prime” shipping. For the price I, or even double the price, I doubt you will beat this excellent Logitech keyboard. If I run into any negative problems I will report them in the future. But right now, I couldn’t be any more pleased with this purchase.
deus402 –
I am thoroughly impressed with the keyboard overall, It sees a lot of dust, dirt, mud, grease, oil, beer, soda, and the occasional spitoon accident living in the shop area of my business, but it is still going strong over a year later after i bought it. The only issue i have at all is that the “Sturdy adjustable tilt legs” broke off after about a month, if it wasn’t for that I would have rated it 5 stars, and am still tempted to do so. The keyboard eventually fills up with dirt and grime in the shop to the point that some of the keys won’t go all the way down, and we just turn the thing over and bang it on the desk until crap stops falling out. Seriously, this keyboard can put up with some uncalled for abuse. I bought it because I was just looking for a cheap no frills keyboard, as I am used to having to replace the shop computer keyboard every 3-6 months, but at 14 months of ownership it is still going strong.

Lyn –
The keys on this keyboard are a good size and angled well for comfortable accurate typing. There are no fancy buttons to go to Web or Windows Media player or Wherever. A simple effective standard keyboard that works AND has standard layout and 10-key pad. Construction is plastic and not flimsy. Keyboard weight is good…doesn’t move around when you type.Key responsiveness is good and the sound of the typing is pleasant for me. Just a gentle normal typing sound. I don’t like quiet keyboards.I prefer the USB connection so I can free ports on laptop. This keyboard connects to laptop using USB hub and works fine.I only wish the home keys (J and F) would have those raised marks so when you type in the dark your know you are in the proper position and don’t end up with a sentence of jibberish.

I have no need for high dollar keyboards as I am apt to spill something into them – I have done so ever since I began working with computers. I was an electronics tech out of school and my first gig was with a contractor to NASA. I use to preach to people about not having open beverages around their keyboards as hey always came down with Pepsi syndrome – gummed up keyboards – which needed to be replaced. I transferred to the administrative side and was soon guilty myself. I now use inexpensive Logitech boards rather than the cool $$$ ergo models I prefer. This one was $10-$15 and works perfectly. I don’t need wireless boards.I recommend this model if looking for a less expensive model ans bells and whistles.

The keyboard is a little hard to get used to and it’s very noisey. I was used to the HP keyboard that came with my former computer and the keys were curved the same but so much smoother to the touch, and it wasn’t noisey at all. I LIKE the curved keys and the keys are the same ones as other normal keyboards – in the same place, etc. I’m having a little trouble getting used to it but the more I type on it, the better it gets for me. I’ll get used to the noise too after awhile. :o) The price was very reasonable.

Quiet, decent for the price. However, I need a keyboard for a lot of typing (transcription) and the physical design is not great for typing at high speeds, will be returning it and unfortunately having to spend a little more money for a more ergonomic design.Great keyboard for normal usage of a computer though, I think.

I like a keyboard that is plain and simple in its functionality, and this one does the trick for me. I personally never use the number keypad on any keyboard, so I could do without it, but it doesn’t get in my way. The keys on this keyboard have a really pleasant, smooth action, no sticking of any kind, which is very important to me. I find that when keys are hard to push down, it can set off carpal tunnel pain in my hands, wrists and forearms.I do have one, for me, minor complaint about this particular keyboard. Like most keyboards that are used a lot, after 10 months, some of the letters are starting to wear off the keys. Fortunately, I am a touch typist, so that doesn’t bother me all that much, but it could be a problem for a hunt-and-peck typist. Letters wearing off has proven much more of a problem for me with the tiny keyboard of my
Kindle
. It is too small for anyone to do more than hunt-and-peck and I have to stop and visualize the QWERTY keyboard and fill in the blanks when I use it.

This is by far the best membrane keyboard I’ve ever used. Keypresses are crisp, there’s none of the mushiness that people so often complain of, the keycaps are just the right size, they don’t wobble, and have they have a nice texture that helps with accuracy and the labelling doesn’t wear off. It’s sturdy and perfectly well made. I mean, for $20, you can’t possibly do better. The low price is astonishing.I should add too that it’s perfectly good for gaming. The key caps are large enough and are designed to cup your fingertips, and those are important considerations in gaming.Negatives? it doesn’t have backlighting. Well, it costs just $20, so of course it doesn’t. Also, it may be just slightly noisier than other membranes, but my noise tolerances haven’t been challenged in the least.Get it! Best value for money I’ve found in peripherals.

The last keyboards I bought, had the small backspace key and had other keys in the wrong locations, so I decided to spend the money and get one with keys in the right places that would work more comfortable to me. When I looked at this one, I guess I looked more at the keys than I did at the connection. I bought this to use with a slightly older computer, but did not notice it was for USB only. Works well on a USB connection, but really needed it for PS2. Will NOT work with a PS2 adapter. It was my mistake missing the USB part in the description. Overall, keys have a real good feel to them.

First, for those thinking the white wears off the keys, I just take some good clear nail polish base(I use Seche Clear, which is what I use for my nails) and when I first get the keyboard, gently and carefully paint over the white keys. There are certain keys that obviously will fade or disappear faster, the most used. I just keep adding a bit more clear nail polish base to them every once in awhile and prob solved.PROS:LOVE THE FEEL OF THE KEYS! – With how much I type, it’s important how the keys feel. Like finding a pen you like to write with.BACK FEET – IT’S HUGE this can be elevated a bit in the back or not. The choice.SET-UP – I AM SO not hi-tech, but even I could easily set it up in minutes.PRICE – GREAT PRICE! I get a new one about once a year. Not because it no longer works, but I just like a clean, new keyboard and, at this price, doesn’t break the bank.BOTTOMLINE: If you’re just looking for a simple, easy-to-use keyboard with a great feel at a great price, this is it.IF you’re a GAMER, may not suit your needs.

The Logitech K120 keyboard is great for what its not. Its not flashy, it has no back lighting macro keys, mechanical switches, media controls or USB ports. The keyboard is the standard qwerty layout with oversize space bar and windows keys. My wife remarked that the keyboard itself is smaller than the previous old dell PS/2 keyboard it replaced. Additionally the keys are labeled with big highly legible labels, so this actually would be a great keyboard for a senior or someone with poor eyesight. Separate from all this I do a bit of light gaming and no issues with ghosting although I’m no high end starcraft player, so take that comment in perspective.I cross shopped this keyboard with the Dell KB522 which I use everyday at work and while I really like the simple media controls and USB ports on the Dell, I ultimately got the Logitech, because I wanted something bullet proof and I get the feeling that the K120 will go the distance.Overall for the price its a great simple keyboard that will likely outlast the PC its connected to..

I’ve used the Logitech K120 for many years, with multiple desktop computers and now with my laptop and free-standing LCD monitor that gives me the ergonomic advantages of a desktop computer without the energy consumption, fan noise and footprint. It’s an excellent basic keyboard, with a very functional key layout. My only complaint (and I don’t know whether this is the keyboard or a bug in Microsoft Word, but a zero is inserted all too frequently when I cursor down to the next line. I had hoped that a new keyboard would eliminate this “ghost” insertion, but it did not.
Mr. Blake –
The Logitech Keyboard K120 is inexpensive which is a great plus. I was just looking for something simple that didn’t have a ton of bells and whistles, and did what keyboards are designed to do. It has been durable, fairly quiet (it doesn’t make those annoying loud clicking noises a lot of keyboards make), and it is a smaller, compact size, which is a plus if I need to take it somewhere.I use it extensively as a “gaming” keyboard by using it with my Eagle Eye Converter (KB and Mouse converter) for the PS3, and it does a great job for me. The keys are responsive, it is comfortable enough, and it is easy to pack up and put away when I need to.

Basic and functional keyboard. Has all the keys a full sized keyboard should and none extra. This is like a midpoint between the functional mechanical keyboards of the past and the more nicely made modern ones. (or maybe it leans a bit more so to the older ones)Works well, keys lightly click and requires moderate amount of pressure, the feedback is good.To me, it is slightly reminiscent of the old clunky mechanical keyboards, but improved.Construction quality is good. The whole thing never looks expensive no matter from which angle you look at it from, but it feels sturdy and isn’t light like the nicer keyboards. This is also full sized, not like those fancy, slick, and small keyboards with crammed keys that resemble laptop keyboard layout. Will take up a nice bite out of your desk’s real estate, just like how the old keyboards used to.There are ample space between the alphabet keys, the direction buttons (they’re FULL sized!), and the num pad, making the whole dimension big and a little too long sideways. You got to move your mouse over to make a little extra space. It does make typing comfortable though.Lastly, as I’ve mentioned, this has all the keys needed to be a fully functioning keyboard, but lacks any of the “nice” features you might see on any other keyboards. One thing I really miss is the volume control button I had on the keyboard just before this. Had I’ve know that I’d miss those functions, I would’ve paid a few bucks more for a keyboard slightly better than this. However, extras are extras and nothing critical, so I wouldn’t say that makes this a bad keyboard. No frills, bare minimum, sturdy, functional, and affordable. Great return for the money you’ve paid. However, if you want any amount of modern comfort or feature, I do recommend spending a bit more for something better than this.

This keyboard is good for casual and general use. My school has these in the computer science department which is why I wanted to order one- they felt smooth and easy to type on. However, when I received my own, I didn’t feel as comfortable typing on it as I did with the other keyboards- kinda strange. I use the keyboard mostly to game- this is definitely NOT a gaming keyboard. I use the space bar a lot and now it’s a little faulty. Every time I click on the space bar, it would get stuck and I’d have to pull it out.Overall- good and affordable keyboard for normal use.
