I purchased this as additional charger for my laptop so that i can keep that in laptop bag and use in office, perfectly works for Dell Latitude 3420 laptop which has new pin (4.5mm), one catch is it does not come with power cord which you need to buy separately. I used my old charger power cord so it was not needed for me.I will give 5 STAR rating to this.

The adapter is original but the power cord is not original, regardless the product works just fine, you can buy if you need a dell charger with the exact specs.
