I was using normal VGA cable for my monitors, then I need a requirement to add 2 additional monitors but my laptop has only 1 hdmi port and other one c port, there this cable came handy for extending multiple screens, now the audio and video can be duplicated/extended without any additional connectors. I got this product for a very reasonable price. I recommend you to buy one if you need it.
