Great…. Go for it. Very lightweight & handy (size=palm of my hand)
I bought it (1.5 TB) for Rs.4450. So, it was great for me.If price is high now…. Wait for it to lower.Only 1 port (the cable that comes with it… Only that can be attached to the hard disk… The other end of the cable is USB like pen-drive/charger).That means u can’t connect mobile directly.It should have another port for mobile.When my laptop is working great… It gives 90 MBps transfer speed.When it is bit slow… It gives 60-70 MBps speed.Out of 1.5 TB, 1.36 TB is usable.

Lightweight, Small Footprint and Fast Transfer Speeds
At the present time, Western Digital makes the best HDD’s. (Hard Disk Drives). They have the lowest failure rate.The only difference between this one and the more expensive external Western Digital drives in this group, is the software that they give you with it to back up your stuff.I always delete that junk and use my own method to backup my stuff.Yes, there are other brands that make good external drives. But you can’t go wrong with this one,Just plug it into your USB port and you are good to do. If you have a USB 3 port, plug it into that port. It will transfer data much faster than your USB 2 port. It is backwards compatible so it WILL work with USB 2, but it is MUCH faster via USB 3. Most new laptops and desktops have at least one USB 3. The other ports are USB 2. So get out your owners manual and make sure you are using the USB 3 port. If you don’t know which one it is, some are blue in color and later USB 3’s are not blue, but if you look closely at the logo next to the USB port, you will see USB “SS” which stands for Super Speed which is a later USB 3 that is NOT blue in color.

Excellent Buy!
I’ve been using a WD external 1TB for the last 5 years or so and when I needed another then didn’t want to look outside WD. Very portable, fast file transfer and an essential item, especially to store all my RAW format pictures. Only one small snag is that on MacOS you’ll need to format it with exFAT to be able to both read and write to it on a Mac or Windows based system. Else, it’s only a read only drive. No big deal, the same can be looked up on Google

It’s great and probably the best at this price
Loved it from day 1, while moving stuff from hdd to my laptop it gives like 100-120mbps and when transferring stuff from my laptop to hdd it was 70-95mbps(this depend on the system so it will vary for each user). Only thing i had trouble with was that its hard to recover something once u delete it, but if u pay some money u can fix that in some shop so its not a big deal.

Gives only 1.36 tb instead of 1.5 tb.
Disappointed about the storage capacity . As mentioned on product is should be 1.5 tb . But it is actually 1.36 tb .If anyhow u r selling 1.36 tb only then clearly mention this AS a 1.36 tb HDD . Don’t know the reason of reducing the memory. It’s feel like a fraud .

Compact and smooth
The product comes with a 1.36 GB storage option. Its compact and smooth to connect also. The only minor detail issue is connector quality, seems a local one on USB side, but overall its value for money product.Go with an external cover as the plastic cover is not suitable for storage. It is not a ox type storage.

I ordered it in sale got for 3300 rupe 1.5TB you will get 1.36TB for usage. I have segate I wanted to try WD this one is so light and also it has usb 3.1 which is fast data transfer speed. It is unbelievable it is too small and in fact the manufacturing is done of this month sep 2019 so there is no such thing like clearing the stock in this sale.Will keep on updating about the review after using it for some time

Reasonably price and works at good speed with my laptop as external HDD. No noise and quite fast. Formatted into 4 partitions and transfered quite a bit of data to every partitioned drive with no issues. Reccomds can go this product without doubts as it performance is satisfactory.

Build quality is excellent, even though it wont provide much resistance to drops from too much heights.Slight heating which is very much expected.Transfer speeds are decent, not awesome.Cable length could have been bit more as the one provided is too small.A pouch too should have been included.

Reliable
After more than one year of using this hdd, I can say it does keep your data and files protected. I do make 4k videos once in a while and all my mobile is saturated with pics and data, I just transfer it to this drive. It felt like a big investment when I bought it but honestly, I haven’t even filled it halfway through yet and it is portable and looks and works like a great accessory !
