Ottimo prodotto, veloce e molto capiente, ma una cosa che non capisco è uno strano bip che si sente ogni tanto, come se partisse in lettura, non riesco a spiegarmelo.Molto performante, rapidissimo sia in lettura che in scrittura, associato ad un SSD da 256 dove vi ‘è il sistema operativo rende il sistema velocissimo.

Hard drive works as described.Before purchasing make sure you can access your Hard Drive bay with no problems, some laptops can be a little more difficult than others. It’s thin design means it will work on most any laptops. If you plan to use this in a desktop just keep in mind this thing is literally the same size as most solid state drives, So you will need a mounting bracket.

Lo instalé en un portátil Lenovo como HDD secundario, solo para almacenar los datos importantes ya que el SO y programas arrancan desde un SSD, y debo decir que este disco hace muy poco ruido y el nivel de lectura es bueno. Lo malo podrÃa ser la capacidad que 1Tb da para guardar solo datos importantes (fotos, videos, y poquito más), pero es una opción económica y una marca muy fiable.

Bought for an external and used with a dock. I have a 2010 MacBook Pro that’s storage is 250G. Just my photography had used up 135GB so now I keep my photos and all my photo apps on this 1TB hard drive and have freed up the other hardrive for better performance. I formatted it as a main hard drive for my MacBook Pro yet didn’t install it as such. I added my Mac Sierra osX operating system to it and it’s like have two MacBook Pro laptops that share everything including the display. With the dock it’s an internal acting as an external.

I’ve used this hard drive for a few months as a secondary drive for my laptop and it hasn’t failed on me once. However load times for games seem to be a little slower than I am used to on my desktop.

Installed in my HP Elitebook 2760p since the manufacturer spares for that model are discontinued, and it works great! It’d imagine it would fit any laptop model with a 7mm, 2.5″ drive bay, which are most laptops manufactured after 2011-2012.Not sure about life expectancy since I’ve only been using it for a week or so, but it doesn’t whine or rattle when moving the laptop around so I’m sure it will hold up much better than the stock drive which did both.Would recommend if you want a decent amount of space and don’t need or want to shell out for an SSD.

Replaced a failed out of warranty 500GB Seagate drive in my laptop. Easy to do instructions found on YouTube. 7mm is the thin model. Called Dell and purchased Windows 8 for 19.00 by providing Service Tag number. They also provided me with a link to download Windows 10 for free since I had upgraded previously. I also had to purchase an Ethernet to USB adapter from Best Buy to get online and download a WIFI driver on the Dell website. Everything works great. If you don’t have a Dell computer I’m sure your manufacturer has a website to assist you.

It was good nothing special but it didnt come with screws which is ridiculous for what you’re paying they wouldn’t save your time and energy just to include 4 screws for an extra 5 cents. It’s such a hassle to find the right size of screws

My neighbor’s laptop stopped working because the hard drive got bad sectors and that stopped windows from booting I was still able to get some data off of it like pictures and stuff like that. This drive is much quicker than the original and the system runs great with it however for the technically minded I noticed that the performance when copying a large file from one part of the drive to the other part of the drive was very very slow it starts out fast but after about 15 seconds slows down to a speed up like 20 megabytes a second or less this won’t matter to most people unless you need to move large files on and off your laptop but for regular desktop performance the cache on the hard drive makes things speed up except for really large files where the cash runs empty and things really slow down.Also, I’m really glad I bought this and not an SSD drive which I thought about because SSD drives can start to corrupt files are silent so you don’t hear any noises or Warnings that the drives are getting ready to fail they work great one day and the next day they’re Stone dead and I feel like the performance of this is good enough to create a nice desktop experience in Windows well it would be great to have the extra speed I am not willing to sacrifice reliability or a sudden failure out of nowhere that leaves all of the data inaccessible even the old drive that failed which I was replacing I could still read a lot of stuff off the drive after Windows ran a Check Disk scan. With an SSD it’s it’s super fast and everything’s great one day and it’s game over the next day with no warning also if you do get warnings and you run some repair operations are you willing to trust that drive with your data or you going to back it up every single day which is a waste of time and something no one’s going to do.

Mi disco me llego solo en una bolsa antiestatica bastante deteriorada,la sensacion no fue placentera ver un eletronico nuevo delicado como un disco duro empacado solo en la bolsita antiestatica toda mugrosa y raspada, tenia una urgencia por el mismo, lo conecte y funciona pero quede con el malestar del empaque y la advertencia que en cualquier momento puede dejar de funcionar por algun colpe en el camino

I’d give it 5 stars, but I don’t yet know how well it will hold up. 2 yr warranty is good, but not great. Speed is better than original drive’s 5400rpm, so faster seek times–always desirable so long as reliability is as good or better than original. I have had good experience with Seagate drives in the past, but not enough of them to be statistically valid.

Bonjour,J’ai acheté ce disque dur pour le brancher sur une Freebox Delta.Alors il faut formater le disque dur depuis Freebox OS sans quoi il ne sera pas reconnu par le système.Il est recommandé d’en installer 2 plutôt qu’un seul…Je suis très content de ce petit disque qui apporte un grand plus à la Delta.

I got this for my MacBook pro mid 2012 to replace an internal hard drive. I was ready to return it because it didn’t work until I figured out the problem. When I installed it, nothing showed up on the screen so I had to remove it since I couldn’t do anything. What I did was put it into an external hard drive enclosure case that I had and plugged it into the usb port. I then opened disk utilities. The mac then said disk drive not recognized. Although it was not recognized I was able to see it to erase and reformat it to Mac formatting. I was then able to reinstall it as an internal hard drive

Seems to work fine. Used it to replace my standard HD in my Mid 2012 MacBook Pro. My laptop freezes while trying to update and I have to hard restart it but all the data is still there. Not sure if it’s a problem with the HD or something else. Food for thought

It Also Works Great Installed In My Toshiba Satellite C655 Laptop (It’s Ultimate Purpose Of Course)….NOW – Keep In Mind ALL Hard Drives/ Disk Drives Can Fail… AND If They’re Going To Fail, They Usually Fail Within The First 6 – 9 Months Of Regular Use… SO – Back Up Everything For The First Year Or So On ALL New Drives…. Purchased as a data drive for my ASUS gaming laptop, it came with a 256gb m.2 SSD and sadly in todays world, that just isnt enough space, so I got a good deal on a 1TB version.Good:Well Packagedspeedy for a 5400rpm driveworks greatBad:only 5mm. Most laptops have a caddy for a 7mm, this goes for PS4 and xbox one as well, there will be a gap, I cut a piece of cardboard folded it and wedged it in between for a snug fit.Obviously this drive was pulled from a external enclosure, but you get what you pay for, OEM drives do tend to cost a little more, so this drive may be a hit or miss in the coming months,,Will update in 3 months after Ive given this drive a solid chance, but at the moment it is working great.
