Sandisk ultra dual drive luxe, 256GB at ₹2239Very good product. Weighs around 12g, which gives a premium feel. Very good quality (physical) as opposed to the “go” variant of the pen drive which is plastic and feels cheap and flimsy.Writing speeds around 140+MBps upon usage with appropriate hardware. Felt some throttling after a few minutes, but not significant.Heats up quickly, but compared to the old Sandisk ultra dual (usb micro-B) heating is more controlled. (The metal body dissipates the heat better, and so is a good thing)The swivel kind of clicks into position, but only after some small movements after aligning into position. (not a significant deal)The usb C connector is longer than normal similar connectors (in usb cables), which makes it suitable to use with phones in protective cases.I haven’t had a usb 3.0 type c hardware, and hence i dont know whether the usb C connector supports USB 3.0 speeds. (well dont get fooled by USB 3.2 Gen1 in the product description, it is the same as USB 3.0)Overall it is a good pendrive. The best one in the price range i think.

Its a SanDisk so quality is not an issue, I have quite a few products from this brand and have been lucky with all of them so far. This one is metal so feels robust. Plug and go in most devices. I have used it mainly with Apple devices and have had no problems whatsoever. Capacity is good, well priced and no compatibilty issues so far. I have tried it on iPhone 13 Pro Max, 15 Pro Max, iPad Pro and Macbook air without any issues. Connects straightaway, no software/hardware conflicts, no widgets or apps to be installed, just shows up in the files menu. Simple, straightforward and solidly built. Only concern is that it does heat up a bit when left plugged in for a long time.

A drive for every user.
I used this product to take frequent back ups from my mobile device.I love the product as it is doing what it is suppose to do.I am using it to store all the videos that I have captured on the mobile.It is useful to transfer the videos to external HDD without having to bother about connecting the device via USB.Dislike:It takes a lot of time to take a back up of 1 GB file. So you can understand the battery consumption that will happen when taking back up of long videos recorded on 4K.File IO is quite slow when connected to the mobile device.

For you see, I have recently had the pleasure (and occasional frustration) of using the Sandisk pendrive. Oh, the cruelty of fate that such a lovely gadget should be so delicate! And yet, despite its fragility, the Sandisk pendrive still manages to impress with its impressive storage capacity and speedy data transfer capabilities.But oh, dear reader, let me speak of a fear that grips me every time I must insert this pendrive into my C-type phone. For it requires a bit of a push, a nudge if you will, and the thought that I might damage my phone in the process fills me with dread. Surely, there must be a gentler way to connect these two devices?And yet, for all my trepidation, I must admit that the Sandisk pendrive is a useful tool. Though not without its flaws, it is a dependable companion for anyone seeking to store and transport their digital files. And yet, I cannot help but compare it to its plastic counterpart from Sandisk, which seems to outshine it in every way.In conclusion, the Sandisk pendrive is a mixed bag of emotions for me. It dazzles with its speed and capacity, but also saddens with its delicate nature and potentially damaging connection. I bought 128 gb SanDisk ultra dual drive luxe . The read and writing speed very good. No heat issues….very mild warm found and it was commonly found in all pen drives.

Overheats, memory sometimes shows 47 GB, 54 GB, sometimes 57 GB. Overheating has also removed the color.

Good enough after some usage
First use of the drive showed the heating issues mentioned in other reviews, but does not heat excessively anymore (not sure why).Made of metal, so might have good durability, although frequently flipping between type C and type A ends has loosened the hinge a bit. So it rattles a bit now.Transfer speeds are good enough if you want to transfer small (<1GB) or medium(1-3GB) sized files.
