Excellent 320 GB Hard Disk
Thank you for 320 GB hard disk. It is working perfectly fine. Only point is that the spinning motor of the hard disk makes little noise. However I am happy with this product based on the price and memory storage size. Highly recommended for purchase.

GEONIX 500GB Desktop Hard Drive
A very good 3.5inch SATA desktop hard drive. I purchased to use as a secondary storage device. Tested the Hard disk for data transfer i.e READ/WRITE operations works perfect. The product was very well packed i.e double packed by the seller. Go for it. This is my 2nd purchase.

Runs in a DVR but not with a PC
Very silent drive. Runs without any problem in a hybrid DVR, but when I connected it to my PC using proper SATA cables it was not recognized. Another Toshiba SATA HDD was instantly recognized when put in the same place. It is weird. I have sought the service support of Geonix (the maker) which is a Delhi (my city) company. Hope this issue is resolved. However, it may be annoying for many who would like to use this HDD as a computer backup device. No datasheet is available on the company website, making the situation a bit frustrating.

Products warranty 2 year like other brands and I extended 1 year warranty by onsitego then total warranty 3 year if any problems then I have backup

it work but need configuration
this is a survilence disk. it wont be detected automatically as a harddisk in windows. you have to connect the harddisk and select diskmanager in windows and format this harddisk to ntfs format. after that it will work. i donot felt it as slow . its a decent harddisk for storing massive data. so far so good

Product is excellent for data sharing. Data transfer was upto 150mbps. Reason for giving 4 star is because poor packaging, it can be done well by just adding 2 layer of bubble wrap just for safety because it is a hard disk and it is fragile.edit: Till now (31/8/23) this hdd is working fine in my pc.
