Using on my desktop and is a mixed bag.
At full range close to the router i get 35Mbps (my internet in 60Mbps). After 1 wall and 5 metres from router, signal drops 1 or 2 bars and max speed i get is 20 Mbps.This is a single band 2.4ghz receiver and as per my testing the max a 2.4Ghz wifi N supports in real world is around 45 Mbps. i guess you get what you pay for. To get higher speed and range this is not the device.

Works well on ubuntu if you know how to fix the driver
This works quite well once you get it set up. However, getting it to work off the box it in ubuntu 14.04/elementary OS can be hard, the connection keeps dropping and the download speed is really low. This is because of a buggy RTL8192 driver that ships with ubuntu. You need to download pvaret/rtl8192cu-fixes from github and install it to get the device working. This resolves the issue completely. Hopefully you have some other way to connect to the internet.I have been using it for two months now. It’s tiny so I keep it connected to my laptop, hardly notice that it’s there. It doesn’t block other usb slots.

Good adapter at good price
I have three wifi routers at home. The first one is Netgear WNR614 N300 Wi-Fi Router that connects to BSNL network. The second one is D-Link DIR-816 Wireless AC750 Dual Band Router that connects to cable BB (YOU telecom). The third one is Reliance 4G wifi dongle. This adapter is abe to connect to Netgear and Reliance. But connection to D-Link dual band router is an issue and works intermittently. I tried to create two separate wifi SSID on D-Link but this adapter still had issues. There is no issue with D-Link because all smartphones and laptops connected to D-Link successfully. Hence I concluded that this dongle has a problem; so docking off one star. Otherwise it is a good product. But then this is only one-day old purchase. Will post edits if problems arise

“I am pleased with the product. I use it frequently on my desktop at both home and the office. I did not encounter any issues while installing it on Windows 7, 10, or 11. However, it is not capable of packet injection for wifi hacking in Kali Linux. Overall, it provides good value for money.”

Overall good product with some range issue
Good product. Wifi speed dropped a bit. I tried putting it in a room 10 foot away from main router. Speed dropped from 40 mbps to 34-35 mbps and I see 2-3 network bar in PC. Incase of mobile from same place I get full speed and full network.Overall good product.

Good product even working with windows10Its maximum speed is 72mbpsFor us we generaly not got that speed ever so i thing go for the cheaper oneIn the cheaper one you got atleast 5 mb wich is sufficient for us no need to buy this expensive product. We get any speed in cheaper not in india we foind cheaper and good internet speed in other countryes where at least 4g work good and gives us 30mbps speed normally

A good dongle (with connection issues) Fix in the review
I have been using this dongle for more than several years now and have always faced an issue wherein the dongle would automatically disconnect from wifi network and won’t connect back. I had to remove and reconnect the dongle to fix the issue. I at times blamed my usb port or the ambient temperature which might be overheating the dongle though on touch I never felt it getting any hotter than usual.What fixed it for me – For win10 – Go to Control panel -> hardware and sound -> device and printer -> properties of Fingers adapter -> hardware -> properties -> general -> change settings -> advanced options -> follow the change given in the attached image.Hope it works for you. No driver needed just plug and play
I purchased this product to make my CP Plus CCTV DVR WiFi enabled.I just pluged it in on one of USB port and it started working.Last year I purchased Fingers TL-WN725N Wi-Fi Receiver 150 Mbps Wireless.Which didn’t work in my DVR, perhaps driver installation issue, worked fine in pc.This year I took another chance to buy this product Fingers WiFi Dongle 300 Mbps Mini Wireless Network USB Wi-Fi Adapter (Fingers) and it worked.

I don’t want anyone else to get into trouble like me thinking that this adapter is not supporting the dvr mine is of cpplus. To install any adapter into a dvr box you need to update your firmware of the dvr first and then your adapter will start working.

I was having a hard time trying to get a long cable to connect from the router to my computer for WFH. Saw this online and thought will try using this. Best decision I made. Super easy to install and have been using this without any issues for a long time.You can blindly go for this Dongle to connect if you have a Broadband connection with WiFi

Tiny, super convenient, easy to use and great connectivity.
Tiny and super convenient to use and carry. It’s a little smaller than a regular Sandisk pen drive. Had no trouble with the installation on my Windows Desktop PC. It works on my phone hotspot from over 10 metres away. Have to be closer for it to detect at first after which there’s no problem if I move around. There’s no lag in the internet speed. It’s an excellent replacement for emergencies when the internet is down and one needs immediate internet access. At Rs. 500/-, it’s definitely worth it.
