The DVI to HDMI adapter works well. Reasonable and properly priced. Clarity is good. Sound is also transmitted through the same. Im using it with a 4 feet long hdmi cable. Output is from system DVI and goes thru my HDMI cable into the HDMI IN of my monitor. Does the job.

Easy way to upgrade your monitor
I used to have a hdmi to dvi cable earlier, which broke. As a replacement I tried using this adapter. The advantage now is the I can use any hdmi cable. This converter works really well and is easy to setup.
