Good Product – However not Happy with the New Firmware on Support Site
Upgraded my D-Link DIR600 to the Tenda F3 and I can certainly call it an upgrade. The main reason for my upgrade was to have better signal coverage in my house (especially in my Bedroom Balcony) and the Tenda F3 does a Good Job. I positioned the Tenda F3 in the same place of my D-Link and I can see the difference in Signal Strength.The main reason for the 4 Stars is due to the Feature availability. Prior to my purchase I read the F3 manual which mentioned the ability for Guest SSID. The F3 I received came with firmware version 11.13.1.8 (2015) which gave me the option for Guest SSID. However, when I visit the Tenda Support website version 11.13.1.23 was available for download. I upgraded my F3 to the 11.13.1.23 and the new firmware is extremely user friendly and has an Interface for a common man to understand. However, the new version does not give the option of multiple SSID. Only 1 SSID could be set and configured. In addition the feature for saving the Router Configuration was also missing. I looked everywhere for an Advanced Mode hoping to find the hidden options but there is no such Advanced Mode. Hence the 4 Stars or else for this Price – I cannot expect for a device to do anything more than what the Tenda F3 does.PS: The support site also hosts version 11.13.1.6 which I managed to downgrade my F3 to after which I have my Guest SSID back.

This router may be slow in starting but just go to Tenda site and update the firmware and see black magic, now my router starts(boots) in 5-6 sec also the new UI is good I got this for ₹870 and I can say it’s best router under ₹1000

Wifi signal barely reaches across 25 to 30 feet distance with 3 walls in-between router & mobile.I doubt Tenda has service center in Mumbai, Thane & Kalyan region. (confirm prior to purchase).Tenda customer support executive who answered my call was little bit inconveniencing technically.

Really good range… I use this as a repeater to my primary midem… I have a duplex house and the modem is kept in the first floor and the router in the ground… no need of any wired connection with the modem just plug it where there is no signal and it will cover around 15 to 20meters

Have been using Tend wi-fi router since 5 years.It has good quality, durability, good range, good functionality and easy UI / installation also!Sufficient even for a house of around 1000-1500 sq ft.(provided you it in the center, and don’t have too many walls in between router and laptop/mobile).It’s look-and-feel is also good.But I think it doesn’t have automatic (programmable) on-off functionality – like auto-switch-off at a certain time/day and auto-switch-on on certain times/days. This is a much for any modern wi-fi router! I hope they implement this in their future models.

Router is good for home usage. Set up and configuration is easy and online help i available on Youtube. I configured it on my Laptop with Windows 10 and android mobile. The wifi range is good but might not fit a very large house. Mine is a 3 bedroom flat and can access it from all rooms except from balcony which is around 25 meters from the router with 2 doors in between. Speed is good and we could easily stream HD movies on laptop using Wifi without any issues.

Easy set up, range is ok
Good for the price, WIFI range is less compared to my main 150mbps single antenna router, but this one is best for the price range among 300mbps :). I use it as a repeater and works well.

Budget friendly
at this price point it’s good.I’ve used other routers of this Price point, this is the best so far.Almost all routers in this price has same speed range etc..Only difference I found is their software.Most of them require frequent restarts.But this one, I’ve used for months without restart.No packet drop, latency issue or anything.However, keep in mind that it’s not a gigabit router so, your speeds will be capped at 100Mbps (Mega Bits)

Had been using TP link WR740N 150mbps router for almost 8 years. Didn’t think this would be much of an upgrade given my broadband speed is 60mbps. However to my surprise this is giving around 50-55 mbps speed to corner most areas of my house, where tp link one would only give 10-15 mbps speed. Also router itself is extremely light. One can literally lift it with 2 fingers. Price was also reasonable. So overall i would definitely count it as a good deal.

It’s so easy to install, aesthetic is good, so far performance is excellent, nice range for such a price, not sure about the durability yet… need to see how long it will last.But for 1100 it’s definitely worth it.

The router is well good enough than the netgear n150 which costs the same the range is quite good enough for 2bhk flats no turbulence faced till now & range is also impressive plus the router is sleek not like the dabba router which netgear has. I am posting the review after using the product for 10 days and till now no glitches found so guys thumbs up from my side.

I used it for my BSNL fiber modem. Great item, boosted the connectivity at my 270sqyd flat. Have placed on a centralized location on the wall at 6ft height. Easy installation, had to change the DNS setting for my desktop though but working fine with all devices (7) and with firestick simultaneously. Recommended

The WiFi coverage is good. Only constraint is that walls weaken the coverage in home setup. Preferably put it in the centre of the house for maximum coverage. Configuration of the router is simple and doesn’t need expertise. Advanced setup takes you to multiple options where you can have firewall setup.
