Signal Strength Isn’t Too Bad, Works on Linux
Works as advertised. The signal strength isn’t that great, but it’s usable for my use-case. But most importantly, it runs flawlessly on Linux; no tacky nineties style mini-CD’s to install drivers from, just works on Ubuntu 18.04+. Has a Realtek N USBA A chip, if anyone wanted to know.

Pros-1- Easy to install – install the software with the CD included in the box2-great speeds – this wifi adapter supports speeds upto 300mbps and i found that out to be correct. my college wifi runs faster than it used to work on my stock laptop adapterCons-1-disconnects easily – you should careful with your hand or it may touch the adapter accidently and it disconnects. Its very annoying2-not as compactOverall great value for money.

This have 2 use, as per installation it can be used as Router for other device or as Wifi Adapter.It took me 5-6 Hours of stuff to get drivers to install from net, as my PC was without CDRom.Once installed Device is very much over my expectations. Just buy it!!!

Every thing is perfect, the signal strength is good. Actually my laptop wifi was not much powerful to catch the router signal. This USB adapterbhelps to get better signal.The only drawback is the orgin CHINA.

Not exactly how it is shown on the page. It is more compact and D-Link is not engraved just a white paint. Working perfectly good and sturdy not like tp-link mini 300mbps n wireless adaptor got the USB port shaking after a long term usage and then really had to break it in anger after trying a lot to make it work.

Like it product very nice pic, specially dongle has cover, so we can keep it dust free, but I suggest one thing light is very inside not easily seen, so please take out light head out level of dongle. And mession proper link of dongle box because installation link not easily searchThanks for good product.

Amazing product !!. A perfect fit for home-based internet. Before buying this wifi receiver I’d bought 2 other unknown manufacturers which failed to work. One had an issue with uploading and the other got disconnected every one hour. Never go for cheaper ones they always come with some defects. Buy from known manufacturers where they have a warranty for the product.

I ordered this product for my desktop PC which doesn’t have WiFi.It was very easy to use, you get 1 CD of driver with it, if you don have CD-ROM, you can also download from D-Link website.adapter is very small which you can keep it plugged as of wireless mouse.When I bought it was cheap, Rs.599, but now it is Rs.799, kind of unfair behavior of seller, I guess.

If you don’t have DVD drive, check online and install
Wonderful product. Only issue is installation. My PC don’t have DVD drive and can’t install drivers from the CD given. Again I’ve to check for drivers online and install them. Should have been easy to install like plug & install. Overall, excellent product

Perfect Wifi Receiver
I don’t know why the desktop PCs still don’t have inbuilt wifi, bluetooth and microphone which are very essential these days.. Anyway this masterpiece from DLink is the perfect solution for Wifi adapter. Supports Windows 10. Checked in version 1909 which is the latest version of Win10. Much better than TPLink aur local adapters which sometimes is not detected in Windows 10. I am using broadband having download and upload speed of 60Mbps. At a distance of 12 feet with two walls falling in between, speed I got was 56Mbps download and 52Mbps upload with a ping of 3 which I would say is great.

I have test this device with OS Windows XP, 7 and 8.1 and it works well without any issue. In the product specification it is mentioned it is also compatible with Windows 10.Installation is easy – First Insert the Drivers from the Mini CD provided with the product & simply Plug in the Wireless USB Adapter and your SSID to get connected.This product handles speed upto 300 Mbps as described.The product is light weight & tiny as small as thumb nail and it is exactly same as described in the Photo.I am extremely happy with this product which is worth paying for as i completely Trust D-Link Products which i have been using for a long time.
