I acquired the 11 OS from a vendor but, turns out my ‘good ol’ clone’ didn’t have the right equipment for 11 so it had to be the 10 OS … yet, I like 10 pretty much. I’m almost certain I would have loved to have the 11 OS but my ol’ girl couldn’t muster yet, she’s running wonderfully on 10 (OS) and I like the way Microsoft is leading me and the program is getting used to my work habits. I like 10 and could only image 11 if my ol’ clone were more (contemporaneous [yes: I’m an an anachronism]) the OS is good, 11 would have been preferable but yes, unnecessary for my old girl but, I’ve wanted to upgrade and it was hard switching this time (because I zero’d out my SSD’s first and then I became the “chairman of the board of Microsoft” meanwhile the Hindu’s upgraded which basically, in a situation like my girl Margies’ … there was no choice but to upgrade and I wanted to for a couple of years. I like OS 10 and 11(?) well someday when I get a newer clone from (of course) ASUS.

I heard windows 11 was preferred for Alderlake CPUs, so I got it. The install setup process doesn’t look like 2004 garbage and looks good now. However, it basically forces you to have an internet connect to set up, which is extremely annoying, but there’s videos on how to bypass this on youtube. The new windows looks significantly different and is annoying to use because i’m so used to windows 10

Window 11 Product key activates when you install… when you install to another PC/Laptop it will ask the key… Don’t install without internet because you can’t skip it

I needed a reliable place to buy windows 11. I was reimbursed for the purchase from our school, so I went here to purchase. There are ways you can get windows 11 at a MUCH lower price though so I would encourage most people to look elsewhere online. You do not need the installation disk. I don’t have a disk drive. You can download the installation media onto a USB and then use the product key from this to certify the install. This worked for me without any problems.

A hit or miss operating system, Windows 11 is the most up-to-date Windows currently released obviously, so having it for work is probably a good idea. Keep in mind that what you are getting here is a standard DVD installer for your PC, so if you haven’t already, get yourself an external DVD / CD drive you can use to install Windows, unless you plan on extracting the ISO to a USB on another PC first.

Saves you money over the USB. I didn’t use the DVD. I used a USB boot/install drive I made myself with a free download from Microsoft itself. The only value from products like this are the keys. You can install windows 11 for free from wifi, USB, whatever. You’re really only paying for the key. Find a cheaper deal if you can as long as it’s real!

I used the end of a scissors to scrape off the product key and accidentally removed the first two characters in each row. Was able to figure out the characters using a magnifying glass and reflecting it around under a light. Use your finger nail.

First of all, my hard drive crashed and burned! I had to find a fix for my laptop immediately. I watched some videos on YouTube, then I ordered everything I was going to need. After replacing my hard drive, I connected an external cd rom drive, as I didn’t have an internal cd rom drive. Then I put in the Windows 11 into the external cd rom drive. It went pretty smoothly to load. You do have to be patient when getting everything set up on your computer, but it all worked out, and I have a working laptop again! I highly recommend Windows 11, especially if you’re familiar with Windows 10.

I wish my office would upgrade. I’m not some big Windows fan but this version actually doesn’t entirely suck! (Remembering you: Windows ME (Millennium Edition)…. 🙈)

Not sure what to say. If you need Windows, you pretty much need a license to use it. This is just that 😉

The only issue for this is Microsoft wants you to connect to the internet in order to install. If you don’t have a functional adapter (ethernet or wireless), you’ll need to hit F10 and open up cmd.exe and enter the command oobe/bypassnro. This will restart the computer and an option to install without internet will appear. Otherwise, this worked just fine.

So not as good as more established versions. Missing some options with the start menu that were common in previous years.

It took a while for me to figure out that I needed a usb wifi dongle in order to connect instead of a wired connection. It will not run without an internet connection so be aware you might have to get something like this too for your rig.

It gets you the Windows license key. That’s really it. Not many people have DVD readers anymore, but this license is somehow cheaper than the digital download. Just get this and then download onto your own USB to save a few bucks. Plus, you can get a more recent updated version so you don’t have to do more updates.
