Stopped working in 18 months
Guys, please beware that the 3 years warranty given, is only a service warranty. The replacement warranty is only for the 1st year. Under service warranty, they only replace the router with a refurbished piece.

good coverage for a 3 bed room home
initially i had a tenda extender to extend the signal and i tried this after reading several reviews and it turned out to be true in my case actually . as i understand the dimensions of the home vary for everybody and the modem location vary as well and i was skeptical, but to be honest it worked in my case. i switched off my extender and yes, i could get the same speed all over my home. the wall penetration magic is real and i could see it in the speed. there is no difference in speed between the bands and both clocks in the same range. mine is 40mbps airtel and i get around 60 mbps.

Cheap doesn’t mean it’ll be bad.
This was one of the cheapest router available in this category, however it works well for about 2 years now, excellent product.

Just as advertised
I definitely see an improvement in the wifi speed across multiple walls between my router.Just to be clear, the range of this router is same as any other router with same 5Dbi router. But I did not experience lag in the connection sitting 5 walls away even though the signal strength was 0-1 of the 4 wifi bars in my phone.A very simple and minimalistic router that has only one task to provide wifi at home. You might find other routers in same price range with ton of features like USB port, FTP server etc.. But they all provide good speeds only in one or adjacent room.If your house has walls and you are looking for a router just for good quality connection (low ping) and speed, then this is what you should buy.

A great product and easy to install and configure
Have been using the router for more than a month now. The signal strength is very good, thanks to the 4 antenna.The interface for installation and setup is very easy and intuitive. Plus, you can also download the Android app to manage the router settings even from outside your home till your router has an active internet connection.Overall, I am very happy with the product. The only thing I would want to have is the ability to switch it off/power off from the mobile app. If I can reboot it, I should be able to do that as well.

Not that impressive as speculated or shown!!!

The looks of the router gives the feeling of a pretty gaming router. Though it’s wifi speed is amazing, but the range of the wifi is quite low, compared to other routers. I previously had to link Archer c6. This router provides 1-2 Mbps more speed than tp link Archer c6, but in terms of range, this router is far behind tp link. The beam forming technology doesn’t works as it should. It always disconnects or even after showing the signal, it doesn’t works. The user interface is much better than tp link for me. If you need wifi range and good speed both, you can go for tp link Archer c6, but if u want good speed and good looks and good interface with a low bootup time, then go for this tenda AC10.

Need an firm update
Sometimes wifi disconnect occurs even the internet is connected in the direct line. If it is disconnected during any payment then it is chaos. Overall good… It requires an update for this periodic disconnect.

Tenda AC5: Very good for small houses.
My 60mbps fibre broadband works well with this router. I have it wall mounted. Get almost full speed till around 8 meters and with a wall in between on 5 Ghz network. I have around 8 devices running on it from tv, alexa devices, laptops and phones. All devices work on 5ghz. On 2.4 ghz the speed drops quickly as I move away from the router. I’ve not restarted it once in the last 10 days of use. Its got a decent mobile app which works on remote too.

Tenda AC5: Very good for small houses.

Easy setup, fair coverage
Worked as expected. Setup one time and I’ve been using it for a month now, no complaints. I don’t know how exactly to position the antennas to reach the corners of my house. Maybe a diagram of some sort can be included in the packaging.

don’t get me wrong I liked the product. But given its name AC8, I expected it to have all the features of AC5 which is a lower-end model but to my surprise, some features are missing like some firewall features and DDNS providers, etc. at the time of writing this review AC10 costs just 230rs more. I regret not getting that one. Compare specifications on the Tenda website before you buy it.

fantastic router
pros:nice build, good looks.feature rich, good admin interface, mobile app etc.2.4ghz range is very good, can cover a 800sqft flat at every corner, 5ghz is speedy but reach is low.stable connectivity, doesn’t get disconnected.cons:quite big in size, antennas wobble a bit.took me some time to get used to the initial setup process, was not able to connect and the error message shown was not helpful at all.no power switch at the back, so you have to turn off the main switch if you generally turn off when you go to sleep.

The BEST Dual-Band Gigabit router!
To be honest this is one of the best routers I have used so far and with the latest and best features as well, can be controlled via the Tenda app and once both the 2.5 and 5 Ghz channels are setup there is no lag or latency the MU-MIMO technology works amazing as I have around 6-10 gadgets always connected including the AC-WiFi and the robot vacuum cleaner along with 2 office laptops that we run and our android smart tv, setup is pretty simple and have this running on my Jio Fiber (150Mbps package) surprisingly on 5Ghz I get 150-153Mbps speeds via speed test. Awesome router Tenda 🙂

Cons: Spacious because of that space-ship look. Not too flamboyant through multiple walls (2.4 GHz), user interface is okay not too easy to use unlike tp-link.Pros: Stable, 5 GHz range is good – covering 2 adjacent rooms easily with only one bar dropping in signal (even though 2.4GHz not that flamboyant through multiple walls as one may expect it to be, covering till third consecutive room, nearly non-existent in the fourth. I had a very old model of tenda itself with 2 antennas and only 2.4 GHz operating in 9V easily covered the same fourth room earlier).Tip: Don’t try to move the antennas to any fancy angles, rather just keep them straight at 90° upright to the ground, that delivers the best output per my experience.By the way, for what is there and what is not there, see the OFFICIAL specs, here and tenda India site. 😎

Tenda Review after 4days of purchase
The Product Costs Twice as Much as D Link standard 2 Antena Router, I used it as I have Alliance Broadband 100mbps plus plan, The direct ethernet cable connection from port gives 80-85 mbps max speed. Over Wifi as most of our connections are on 2.4GHZ channel max speed is 49-50 so no benifit over wifi, and on 5ghz channel theoretically it should provide speed over wifi but am unsure as dont have 5ghz lan card on my laptops., overall the router is sturdy and good, writing after 4days of purchase, package says 3yr warranty.One thing to remember if your broadband speed is above 50 like 80 and and above the only way u can enjoy that speed over wifi is that ur device has 5ghz band adapter otherwise its no use.

Great Speeds
I wanted to use this to extend the range of my existing router. I level in an old building, with thick, load bearing walls. The literature which came with the router didn’t make it to clear. Searching Tenda support was equally confusing. Finally, noticing 2 options, WI-Fi range extension, and AP mode, I decided to try both, one after the other. It appears what I needed is the AP mode.The next problem was where to connect the LAN cable from the master router. In all other cases that I have dealt with so far ( and I’ve set this up numerous times for friends and upgrading routers for myself), the norm is to use a LAN port rather than the WAN port. However, this router requires it connected to the WAN port.Once that was done, however, everything worked like magic. And the throughput… Excellent.The final test, of course, is endurance, but it is too soon to tell. I’ve only set it up today. If I do not reduce the rating in future, it’s because I’ve forgotten, it’s very easy to get used to speed. Please consider this to be a 5 star rating…

Best than TP Link C6 Archer AC 1200
First I bought TP Link C6 Archer AC 1200 but it is not working as WI-FI Repeater and then I call technical support but they not able to solve problem.Then I exchange with Tenda and it is easy to use and configure. 3 month passed but no problem.

it is for small office or home on a single floor. the wifi range of dual wand or 5g signal is good enough , and the various little features that are basic but important nonetheless like MOMIMO ,limiting a particular device speed etc .And it looks cool looking device .

Bad router, lots of problems
Good router, but problem in 5g connectivity if other router is connected to it in 5g mode.(repeater). 2.4ghz band net speed fluctuates, you wont get proper net on 2.4ghz band. Bad router, lots of problem. Dont buy.

Excellent recommended bought after so much research
I have 40mbps plan internet . Previously i was using dlink n router . And i faced network lag and streaming frequent pauses. Today installed tenda AC101200 gigabyte router. Bow and iam able to get 39mbps out of 40mbps . No lags in games and video streaming apps. Wifi signals are strong and able to receive at any corner of the flat. 1200sft . Walls not an issue for its signal.Pros.Signal excellentSpeed of internet excellent ping 6ms. Loading time 12ms.Best to use in 5gh speed signal to catch maximum speedMobile is app is very niceCons : not having builtin usb input for hardisk or printer sharing via local netThis feature available in tp link archerBut many reviewers said that signal of tenda is far better than tp link so my requirement is signal strength at any corner and its delivering it.

If You have Installed it in a room and if you close the door of that room, you might sometimes will not get 5G network in other room or Hall . There is 25% Chance you will not Get it. Try to install it in the center of your flat. Yeah its 2.4Gh Bands Works fine for long Distance even after closing 2 doors.

Good router but has its own issues
Excellent WiFi coverage and extremely easy to configure however there are two issues which prevent me from giving 5 stars to this productLatency : when multiple devices are connected, users start experiencing lagStability : for no reason the wifi just disappears from the connection list

Abive average signal strength, extremely fast internet
Using this from 2 months now 24×7.Highly recommended to keep this in hall space for optimal usage.Setup took just 2 mins.It looks like an Iron Man gadget gives premium feel for all viewers.It emits 2 signals one with 2.4GHZ and another with 5GHz in same router.You got complete control on every individual device using your WiFi through TendaWifi app. It is very useful.Video streaming is just fantastic experience even with bandwidth as low as 7mbps. Never saw a loader till now.Cons:- Signal Strength across walls could be better. But even with 1 point signal there is no speed loss.So i personally didn’t feel any issue.Recommended product over other brands like DLink and TPlink.
