SLIGHTLY COMPLICATED INTIALIZATION PROCESS REQUIRED.
This hard drive needs to go through an initialization process before it can be correctly detected by windows. That can be accomplished using any partition software. Absolutely nothing wrong but previously the WD Green SSD would come preinitialized to my knowledge. The product is fine otherwise. You need to have windows already installed on an another Hard disk to do this initialization and that can be a slight challenge for some. It does not show up under devices and drives without this initialization in windows. Product is new and sealed.

Good SSD but…
When I got the product, I installed all my games in it.I ran benchmarks on it, everything was okay. But when I played games on it, the games used to crash after sometime. Thankful, I went to replace it within 7 days and the replacement SSD didn’t have any issues.SSD is great but please play a video game with good graphics and test it.

Worth buying
I was previously using 240gb capacity version of same product. Upgraded my laptop with it. It’s trustable for normal consumer computing.PS- Not suitable for high end use, use blue or black if you are a professional user.

Excellent product
This item is very fast and removes the lag when the laptop starts. I have an A4 processor laptop with magnetic hard disk. I replaced the old HDD with this item and after that laptop has been very fast and efficient.

Totally worth it
I’m having a dell i3 5th generation laptop which totally slowed down with time. It became so slow that I stopped working on it whenever I turn it on it takes alot of time to bootup and also the applications where on “not responding” state. I started to hate my laptop but then this ssd came into my life which turned out to be a new lifeline. I bought 480 GB ssd. Now my laptop takes only 2-3 secs to unlock and whole system has became fast. I wasn’t expecting this significant change. I feel I’m using a new laptop.

Worked Seamlessly
I used it to resurrect my 6 year old Dell Inspiron having HDD that had become impossible to use with Windows 10. The installation was easy – the disk is same size as the old disk. Installed Linux on the new disk and the laptop is now blazing fast – as good as a new laptop.

SSD puts new Life in the Dell Inspiron 3531
Dell Insipiron 3531 was on its last breath.. Replaced the 5400 rpm hard disk with this SSD. Significant improvement in performance for normal work.The speed 280 MBps is half of what is claimed by WD because Dell Inspiron 3531 has 3Gbps Sata ports, not the 6Gbps ports.
