Reliable and Good — But???
One year, it worked like a charm. Exactly 1 year and 2.4 G network stopped transmitting. I’ve reset the router atleast 3 times since November 2023. It just stopped working.Frustrating that many older devices like TV, Smart appliances only work on 2.4 g network.I had to change 3 routers in 3 years .. all TP Link.Maybe right time to go back to Netgear and DLinks.

Max speed supported over LAN is less than 100mbps.
The maximum speed supported over LAN is less than 100mbps. If you are looking for more, this is not the router you want. Also, they don’t take returns. Seeing their headline, I thought it would be a good choice for my 300mbps connection, but I was wrong. I guess my technical reading ability was not up to the mark, or the way the headline created doesn’t clearly state that, but thanks to this costly mistake, I will look for LAN bandwidth for every router purchase in the future. For this the max bandwidth you get is 100mbps.

I was searching for router and does not even know about configuration even as per my requirement. frankly speaking I am not aware about router specifications and what elements need to take care while purchasing router. I know I wanted high speed internet and for that i required router. initially I do only compare TP link with other products. and I found this was suitable. I never take review from any tech person and decided to purchase and place PO as well. but then later on when I received this product and the at time of internet installation the engineer take router from me, and he was happy to see this model, and said to me that this is good router. he explained me about its range specification and its market brand value. although this is Chinese made product I appreciate for the hard work for design this. I wish Indian brand well soon make a way into market. looks wise it is really attractive.

I used it as both wired and wireless repeater for my internet fibre modem.⚠️ Make sure to connect good ethernet cable CAT6E or high for 10 meter and up , with all 8 cores(some have only 4) to unlock the speed it claims.

Writing this review after using the router for about 3-4 months .The performance of the router is very good and also both the bandwidths works fine and range and connectivity is also good. At Rs.2000 it is perfect router for home to connect multiple devices. Go for it !!

“No internet” issue
I’m very disappointed with the router. Everything is good except “internet access” problem. It’s in such way, i can explain here.. whenever the electric connection goes, our cable operator’s electric also goes and when backs it again the router can’t automatically generate internet, ie- it shows in pc or phones “no internet”. Then i need to reboot the router again.. after that it gives internet connection. How a stupid error !! Even my old tp_link W841 N300 has no such type if stupid issue. I replaced it one..bt in new ine same problem was appeared. Then, i updated the firmware version, from tp_link official download page. Bt, still, no improvement. Same problem again and again. It really sucks, ciz, i live in small city where electric supply is a big issue, goes and comes 5/6 times on a day. And, every time i need to restart it physically or through Tp link threader app, and it’s too annoying man! Please tplink , fix the problem please. Except this issue, i have no major problem with the AC750 . And, yes, range is also very good, even it’s 2.4ghz has better range than my old tplink N300 w841. And, now i’m able to get full speed if my cable net in phone with torrent and IDM. Whis is at about 12MBPS (100-110mbps). Previous router (300N) can give the speed only for PC, bt, can’t handle in phone, cut down to 4-5MBPs. Now i get same speed in both device, phone+pc@12MBPS

Overall good. Just one issue.
The speed received is great, received exactly same speed as my plan in 5ghz. The signal strength is good for a 3bhk flat. I use smart connect feature which is very helpful as it automatically shifts from 5gz to 2.5gz when needed.Only found one issue that whenever there is a power cut, it takes the router atleast 4-5 minutes to connect to internet again. If I unplug and replug the lan cable on router, the internet is connected instantly, but if I leave it, it takes time to connect back to internet on its own. So that part is a little irritating sometimes.Overall its a good router for home and office use.

Good coverage.
It is good and range is also good. Covers 1400 square feet, while placed in starting corner it covers till end of the house. It was not necessary to be placed in the center of the house to cover complete area.

It is very light weight, almost no weight, so it will be easy to hang on wall if necessary. It gives good 5Ghz signal range in a room of about 350-400 sq ft. provided there is no wall in between. The router starts in less time and connects to Internet.There is a unique feature named ‘Beam Formation’ that is great to get full speed on a device. Comparatively less price. No other brand gives 4 antenna with dual band at this price.

people with internet connection more than 100mbps speed only go for 5ghz routers . as 2.4ghz max speed is 400 mbps in this one & ordinary routers have 300mbps in 2.4ghz . so in real world if u have 100mbps & dowload any movie u will get 12-13mbps in 300 mbps & 14-15mbps in 400mbps router . wer as if u have 5ghz u will get around 27mbps wifi & 35-40mbps lan downloading rate for a file . i have 125mbps & under 5 ghz speed test is showing 110mbps on wifi & 125mbps on lan. so product is performing as per specifications. the 4 antenass r giving same performance as a 2 antenas while doors closed in home .so doors should be open . many people use ac rooms with closed doors so keep a note about it (also bathrooms u will not get signal so be carefull with smart IOT homes) . the 5ghz gives same performance even doors closed as i believe this router to be more penetrating.cons :-no colour option avble. as usual black .which is boring colour after many years of use.

I was about to buy repeaters but this router covers my entire house well and the smart switch from 2.4 to 5 ghz is brilliant. Performance has been stellar and I disabled the Jio wifi option in their modem, which was pretty useless.

Like any other customer, I brought this after reading multiple reviews and majority of the one star or two star rating was given for poor range.If the router antennae is configured properly, then we can get proper range to a 3bhk house (in 2.4 Ghz only). I have 3 BHK where one room is in first floor and I am able to manage from all rooms. On the first day after installation, the range was available only in 2 rooms and it was extended by doing some adjustment.The disadvantages of 5 Ghz is already explained by many customers.Pros:UI is simple with explanation on the right side.Dual band with guest network.Cons:Wall hanging hooks are not available.No USB portsPlease remember guys…. Wifi signals are prone to many interruptions and radiations from different forms of waves generated from electronic devices.If you place the antennas at the right position on the right place with right angles and without any major electronic devices nearby, then am sure that many of you will not face range issues.There is no standard setting for the above word” right” , as it depends from house to house. Please read from google on the tips to have better wifi range. If you keep this router at ground level and near to a smart tv which is already having waves from tv as well as dish, then it is obvious that the range in other rooms will be affected..Another example – Router will be kept on a table wherein mobiles are also kept for charging etc.. So when there is a mobile phone nearby, it is obvious that the router will emit weak signals and other rooms may have impact.How to find the “right place”. First thing is that there should not be any electronic surfaces nearby and antennas should not be pointed towards some surface which can absorb signals. Router should be placed at the center part of your house. Please keep adjusting the antennas at different positions (one at 45 degree, one at 90 degree and another at 30 % with different inclination etc.). Keep trying at different positions and check the signal strength at different rooms. Because, wifi influencing devices keep differing from home to home.

Earlier I used to have D-Link Wi-Fi router, every couple of days in a month I face signal and internet drop issues. After lot of research and suggestion from ISP I have chosen TP-Link Archer C80 AC1900 Dual Band Wireless, Wi-Fi Speed Up to 1300 Mbps/5 GHz + 600 Mb.*It is very easy to install.*Signal of wifi improved a lot.*Speed of my internet improved a lot.*Cloud based router, we can change the configuration or anything from anywhere.I am giving this reveiw after one week of usage.
