An awesome PSU at the given price range. In fact when I opened it, i felt it quiet heavy which is very good and also the cable and sleeves were very good. It does give a premium feel.

For some reason this thing makes more noise when placed upside down in cabinets where the provision is at the bottom for PSUs. Yes, if you have your room fan on then you might not hear it much but if you are in a quiet room then you will hear this thing louder than your CPU fan. Quality of the product is great. Has a lot of connectors for an average gamer (98% of the market) to start playing without worrying about compatibility as its very flexible with enough connectors for most components that goes into a typical gaming pc. Do keep in mind that this product comes with a UK style rectangle plugs instead of Indian cylindrical plugs. Not recommended for high end gaming PCs though

If you are building a budget pc this is the power supply to get. It is 80+ white certified with about 82-85% efficiency. It is a reliable brand and you will get all the details from the internet. Tomshardware even has a review of this psu. Warranty is 3 year,not 5 year. Geforce graphics cards upto 1660 ti and radeon till rx 570 will work without any issues, cpu below 100w tdp should be no problem.. you can also add couple of fans, hdd and rgb headers.. it has two 6+2 pin pcie connectors which is more than enough for a 450 watt power supply.. you have more than 5 sata conectors, one 4+4 cpu connector, 20+4 mobo connector and 2 molex…

Perhaps the best entry level PSU in 2018.
Review is based on build quality and first impressions. This is heavy and feels solid. Taking away a star because one of my molex enclosure feels somewhat loose and the mount screws came quite tight so I used my old ones.As for performance, the fan is very silent and overall this looks like a very nice entry level PSU. The 2018 version is supposed to be an upgrade over the older VS 450, and that’s good. Have attached some power and efficiency charts that do suggest some improvements.

It is a very good psu. If u r going to pair an i3 or r3 with a 1650 super or even some i5’s or r5’s with 1660, then u r good to go otherwise if u r going to use above that then go for 550watt. It is very silent and provides continuous and pure supply to each and every component. It comes with a uk plug,so don’t forget to buy a converter or extension cord.

Best Power Supply for the average user!
While many people are unsure of whether a 450W power supply is enough for their system, in most cases, it will be enough for your usage. I use my power supply with a GTX 1060 and an Intel i3-8100 and unless you are using a very high end processor or a very power demanding graphics card, this should be enough for you. I must say, the power supply is quite even under full load and not heard till you open up your cabinet and put your ears next to it. It also is painted matte black, which is always a sign of high quality and should suit most cases’ black color scheme.However, the power supply is not modular(which may be better for those who are beginners) or contain color coded wires (the wires are multi color instead) , but this is expected from a power supply of this price range.Overall 10/10

although ive only had this a short while ive noticed a buzzing sound coming from the unit under load, it doesnt seem to be causing any issues in voltage to my components (using HWiNFO to confirm the voltages and temps) and seems to be a common problem with these units after doing a google search, im hoping its just a built in feature that is pulsing the fan (like a fan controller circuit) as like i said kicks in under load but still a little worrying for a brand new unit and i guess time will tell,Ive given the unit 4 stars for now because1) It looks well built inside and out2) its semi modular so cable management can be easily done3) has built in surge protection and over voltage protection4) doesn’t get too hot under load thanks to the beautiful corsair fan design5) cables are black sleeved and labelled clearly

What i dislike about the product that the packing could be bubble wrap from the inside i have paid 100rs for delivery charge as you can see in the picture it was just a card box from the outside…Coming to the product previously i have owned Iball marathon 500 peak watt power supply which is not good for my build whenever i enable XMP overclock profile from my MSI B350 mortar mobo it just got blue screen in 10min but not that problem has gone thanks to the Corsair VS 550 my Ryzen build is now flying like a rocket….I suggest all of you to by this product….KIDA seller is also good..

Would suggest everyone to use it instead of the cheaper similar products in market. This is the heart of your desktop and it keeps it safe. Do not compromise with cheaper products (in#l, etc etc…) i had issues of power variations earlier but so happy after i installed it.

This is a perfect PSU for all those who are looking at building slightly above average gaming PC. It has got all the necessary ports and more for your needs. You can not just connect one but two GPUs and still there’s room for more. Just close your eyes and go for it.
