Bought this for work for home and general usage. This has a easy to use Settings manager and an intuitive status page. The four antennas make the wifi available at every nook and corner of the house. i have set the strength to medium.It looks cool in the the living room and has smooth finish with the status leds within the cover.Super pricing below ₹1000, wont pinch you much for a 300 MBPS routerMI brand has been known for quality products, I would not be worried in that front.Recently released, so it has the latest technologyHas an option to have separate guest wifi login, which can be shared without fear on privacyWill certainly recommend this as a super buy

I’m already used it’s previous version MI 4c but i need to upgrade so I purchased it at only 999. Router working good no problem seems so far. Speed is good as my plan, u don’t need to use ethernet cable on 5ghz speed.

A Product which is Completely Worth for Every Penny Spent!!!
I have been using the predecessor of this router MI 3C for quite sometime and it is the best in class of all routers I have ever used. Trust me it is way too much better than Netgear Routers. I recently purchased the 4C Router thinking that this will be better than 3C but unfortunately it has failed me in that part. 3C is still the best. If you have a connection upto 100Mbps then both 3C & 4C is the best that you can get in this price. But if you have speeds more than 100Mbps then u got to look for some other options because this cannot handle more than 100Mbps in a better way. But still some PROs of this Router which sets it apart from all other routers in this segment are as below:PROs:1. Excellent Signal Strength (I live in a 2 Storey building and I get the signal still my Down Floor)2. If your using speed anywhere upto 100Mbps then this is the best one3. Gives the throughput exactly what u get from the ISP +/- 1Mbps or soBut I will still suggest the older Mi 3C Router is the BEST!!!!

Using it as a repeater for third floor. Serving the purpose efficiently and in the cheapest manner.Go for it. You will not regret, if use it as a wireless repeater. Not sure about efficiency of using it as a router though.Installing it as a wireless repeater is extremely super easy.****************NOTE:1) If you use it as a wireless repeater, LAN ports will not work as an access point.2) Doesn’t supports 5GHZ Band.***************Conclusion: Cheapest branded wireless repeater option alongwith easy installation.***************

The Product is good asthetically as well as easy to install. You can get its range upto 2 rooms further. I had a 40mbps wifi and it did deliver the speed. Just that it had 4 antennas so i expected a lot more range. Apart from that it is value for money.

Maybe damaged or a really weak product
I really don’t know if the the product is damaged or if its just built very poorly. I use itas a repeater and half of the time when my modem has internet, the repeater doesn’t work. When it works, or works fine. But it doesn’t half of the time. I am usually unable to connect to the repeater. Hope they take it back. Not worth it if the product isn’t damaged.

nice product, easy to install, good signal strength.i will give 4.5 out of 5.very little bugs are there in the software.1.cannot rename connected devices,2.connected devices will appear as unknown device.atleast it should show that it is a mobile or tv or tablet or laptop. it just show unknown device.3.if shut down power, and restart the device the inbuilt clock will reset, and wont work properly until you update the time again.4.miwifi app needs improvement, it takes longer time to load details from router.but if you look at the price, this is the best budget touter.

Good router with only 2.4Ghz connections not 5Ghz
I would have loved to have 5 GHz connections as well. but 2.4Ghz is also fast. This is slower than 4A so if you have a budget go for a better one. This has less price and does its job. There are 4 antennas and 2 for sending and 2 for receiving. This can be used as a wifi extender as well. The interface in MiWifi App is so easy to use and set up.

As a repeater it useless
Can’t even connect just after a wall while my phone can connect seamlessly.My mi 11T Pro max get connected to other routers in seconds but to this keeps waiting at obtaining ip address and takes multiple tries.I have tp link router as well as dlink wouter and many repeaters but never faces this type of issueEven after putting it next to router it says weak network.Replaced one is working great i guess the issue was with the unit i received.

Product have a really good build. high quality plastic, good finish. Easy setup using browser for the first time. it can be also installed with the help of an app, if you doesn’t have a laptop or desktop. Range is pretty good, minimum of 4 rooms can be covered with good signal range. Major problem felt is the stability. It crashes suddenly, where the signal works for laptop, but not on mobile. it has to be rebooted, or should be switched off and them switched on to clear the issue.Bandwith is only 2.4GHz, where you can expect it to work only for home purpose and general network usage. might create lags during heavy online streaming gaming (need to give a try first, till then not pretty sure).Finally, Worth for the money and features. Quad Antenna setup is really cool. Check for some router setup videos in the youtube for setting the antenna directions just to cover good range.

Xiaomi Router – Cheap and Best. Best repeater option.
Using it as a repeater for third floor. Serving the purpose efficiently and in the cheapest manner.Go for it. You will not regret, if use it as a wireless repeater. Not sure about efficiency of using it as a router though.Installing it as a wireless repeater is extremely super easy.****************NOTE:1) If you use it as a wireless repeater, LAN ports will not work as an access point.2) Doesn’t supports 5GHZ Band.***************Conclusion: Cheapest branded wireless repeater option alongwith easy installation.***************

This is a good WiFi router for home use. For office use I don’t recommend it. Wifi signal is moderate, using from 4 -5 months, only problem I faced sometimes its give single but not Internet. Need to restart for access internet again.Gaust mode, Hide network, etc very useful features is loaded in this router.Go for it in this budget.

I am using this modem since 2.5 years now. This has never disobeyed me. Since, lots of payments transactions happens over my network I found this router to super powerful in mid-range with security. I trust this brand router so much. I have imported two wifi extenders from MI global store, those two just communicate with this router so nicely. Even with the cameras, lights.I have been doing WFH since March 2020 and I never faced problem with this router. Everytime there was issue with internet this cautioned me about the internet service provider. Any unauthorised access to this network will be blocked and inform immediately.

Never had a problem in 13 months of continuous use. Router was ON 24*7 all day for the past 1 year. Never had any issues. Never turned off or anything like that.Pros :- Easy to install- Decent wifi strength(enough for 2BHK homes)- Looks great( Unlike other routers in this price range)- Miwifi app lets to control many things- Works smoothly( Never faced any issue with the internet)Cons :- Didn’t face any up to now.

This router is super stylish and super easy to setup. Features wise, it’s one of the best available in the market for this price. The only glitch I’ve seen is that the range is not at par with the 4 antenna routers as we expect. It just provide the same range as a single antenna router. Overall a recommended product if you are not looking for wide coverage and if you are not a pro (anybody can install and make this work in some simple steps)

I wanted this router as a wifi repeater for another floor of my house. It was a good choice as it also gave ethernet outlets and was easy to set up using the mobile app, unlike other routers for which I have to change the IP configuration settings from a web login. It is also cheaper than already present wifi repeaters and is a much better go-to option if you need one

I would say after using it for more than 15 days.Pros – With in Budget with Various features.Cons – It takes more than 2 mins time to work after plug in power supply, slow as compared to Tenda.I would recommend to go for tenda, if tenda is available at less price than this because we generally don’t use all the features and tenda has 3 years of warranty and it has just one year.

Its to easy and signal strength is great no interrupts of video watching it boosts the signal and data.perfect use for 2 laptops 4 android devices. (U can play video in 480p continuously, if you had a broad band speed of 40mbs.) great controling from app compare to tplink or link.

Cons:1) No slots to hang it on the wall.2) No slots for USB, but that’s useless for most of the people, so it’s fine.3) Only two ethernet slots, so if you wish to connect more than 2 devices over LAN, you need to buy an extra hub.4) Does not penetrate the third wall (This would vary as per the distance and the wall thickness)5) Single band, 2.4 Ghz and not 5 GhzPros:1) Installation is easy with the mobile app, So even a non-technical person can also use it with an ease.2) Network range is really good.3) I got two (One I have been using since 1.5 Years) so works properly in the base and the wireless extension mode, both.4) Light weighted, occupied less space.5) Easily penetrate into the second wall (Would depend on the distance and the wall thickness)6) My Fiber connection’s speed is 50 Mbps and I get around 50-52 Mbps constant over LAN (wired), around 46-48 Mbps on Wifi (wireless).Final Verdict: Cons of this router are such that can be ignored considering the benefits it offers.Perfect for a 3-4 BHK area or any other open area. Works well even as an wireless extender.I have used TP-Link, Mercusys but it is better than any other router within this price range.For routers better than this, you need to raise the budget.

It’s an outstanding router for it’s price. It has a wide area. I use it in my hostel in NISER Bhubaneswar with LAN. It has a speed of around 30-50Mbps. Its very easy to install and very light weight.I suggest you it for a light budget.

A great router with a major con
I received the router today and I am using it for 2 hours. I know it is not the correct time to write a review but I will list out some points.1. Xiaomi has used good quality plastic so the router looks premium.2. The setup process is very easy. I would say that it is the easiest among all the other competitions available in the market.3. It works as a router, repeater and access point. The Mi Wifi app is user friendly.4. The router is very stable. Till now I have not experienced any connection drops. I will update about this after few days.5. The router has two LAN ports and one WAN port. It may be a con for lot of users.6. Xiaomi does not bundle an ethernet cable with it. They should do this.7. The major con with this router is that the range is very low. I feel that the 4 antennas are just a gimmick. If you have a multistoried house then please avoid this router. I have used its predecessor Mi Router 3c but it had excellent range.To sum up my review I would say that if you have a multistoried house or a house with many rooms then do not buy this router. Otherwise go for it for sure.

I liked the router. Very light wait. Easy to handle . Easy to setup. Just the signals are not that strong as much are referred but that’s good cause high signal strength can damage brain too. Overall 5 start no works problem all doing good and it’s easily able to handle my 4 devices with 4k vid streaming. Enjoying with it. Thanks to mi for such affordable products at best price.

This router is an awesome piece. Very easy to setup with the Mi Wifi android application. Looks very cute. Signal coverage is pretty good. Satisfactory coverage in my house of approximately 1000 sq.ft.

Super Smooth Process for setting up WIFI
Received the router installed the MIWifi app and 5-6 clicks and router is ready to use. I like that I don’t have to go to 192..168… and do all the time wastage.Signal is average. Speed is average. but for 899 you can’t expect more. Pay 2000 and get dual-band router if you want low latency.

Very handy, maintain nice range of network within 500 sq ft as it has 4 antennas.And worth to have it in such very less cost.

Good wifi signal in 1 bed room ( carpet 315 sq ft) I took unit to my Internet ProviderOnly some time I need to rebute the apparatus as it gets disconnected from Internet

THe signals do reach all the rooms
The signals do not reach all the rooms. had to install extenders in 2 rooms for WiFi to pick up the signals

Best router in budget section……..quite easy to install, nice range and awesome design looks cool in white color……….It’s a must buy router if your budget under 1000rs…….. N.B- I got this one @899rs

I am not a technical guy but as far as i understand its technical specifications and utility is worth at this price range. Its a good quality device. I loved its color and look. Connectivity is really good and has a good signal strength. Sturdy product. Happy about the purchase.

Best for 2.4Ghz extenders .. the range is great
Arrey best hai .. doesn’t support 5Ghz but I am using it as a extender so 5Ghz as such doesn’t make sense …

I brought it to extend the wifi range in home. Initially i was not satisfied, after some period of usage, I am almost ok with this. Still there is some range issue and connectivity problem, but not a big issue.. Can maintain…
