Somebody told me never judge by Size. By this product you’ll realise that it’s so true.Pros:-. Easy setup unless you can’t read English.. No speed capping.. Small in size.. Range is good for a house with 3 rooms (covers till my garden by the way).. No heating after continuous usage.Cons:-Wont take your dog for morning and evening walk.Doesnt come with a Pizza.Wont satisfy parents coz this looks small.Bottomline:- I bought it for rs700 and for the price if I’ll say this is a bad product then people will call me crazy.

A very good product. The services it provides and setup process are all very easy, if you know even a little bit about routers. Reliable enough and the build quality is fair enough. Setup with another Tenda router over WDS couldn’t be easier and I definately recommend it. In terms of range, the range for a flat or a G+1 floored house is just fine. It does struggle while penetrating through walls and don’t expect good performance through 3 or more walls. Range through 1 or 2 walls is just fine. The only thing it lacks is a 5 GHz band, but you really can’t expect that out of such a cheap router.

It was very easy to install, but range is very limited, in the second room about 15 feet apart behind the walls the signal level and speed drops by 50%, over all ok product for small house or Office, satisfied by its price and simplicity

I received the product within the stipulated time. The packaging was good. The router is really too easy to setup.Pros:1) The router is very small.2) Easy to setup.3) No heating issues even after continuous run.Cons:1) The router doesn’t have a wall hanging option, so you need a stand to keep it.2) Even after having two antenna, the range is not up to the mark.3) The wire of the wall adapter, is very short.Overall an average router at a very low price, so nothing more can be expected. Good for casual home usage.

Awesome Router- well i was really confused before buying that whther i should go for it or else just stick to wat others do like buying a dlink (goin wid da flow thing). aftr enuff fites widin my mind i finaly went ahead buyin this.wel to be honest it is really worth the price.Pros:1.Awesome Speed: wel seriously there’s no issue wid speed as its 300mbps so it works wonders.2.Very high range: wel i live at 3rd floor in my flat and i can gt da conectivity on da ground floor aswell till the shops arnd 100 meters away from my apartment.3.no lags, no freezes.4. very easy to install: da local alliance guy told me he wud charge me 500bucks to install wenevr i gt a wifi i sed F u 😛 i’ll do it myself. so it ws really easy any one wil b able to do it. u dnt need to knw rocket science to configure it.. all u need to knw is plain English :D5.no heating issues: wel i just used it fr a continuous 3 days and believe me it dint heat up at all.. js stood there like a tiny white ninja delivering its serivices to its master :D6. works fine wid any number of devices connected:7. affordable price fr a 300mbpsCons1. dint get any chocolates with it :D2. doesn’t shut ur wife’s mouth3. doesn’t obey ur orders like “bring me a coke” :DThanks 🙂

It was a okayish router.Signal strength was not that good nor it was that bad. The only good thing about the router was its broadcom chipset which is best amongst all chipsets which are available in the marketGiving 4 stars because of the best chipset, better connectivity and compatibility with the devices, very stable connection and effective connection monitoring are few qualities of the broadcom chipset.

Decent router
Decent router for a 1BHK (450 squre feet) or for use as a repeater. Has the universal repeater function inbuilt which is nice. WiFi coverage is average so don’t expect great coverage if your router is placed in the corner of the house. However, speed provided is perfect, no compromises there. Installation is a breeze. Overall a decent product if bought for around INR 800.

Perfect for my 350 sq yard house. It’s a very big house with tall structures nd open spaces and the wifi signal is strong in both the floors and the basement. Dont know about a bigger area than this but works perfectly for me.

Like it all the way. using it for the last 2 days and can cover 4 bhk area space upto with 1100 sq ft provided no barrier walls and any such block/wall in between spaced. Has warranty of over 3 years so product maintain and quality is covered. Had some problems in installing the first time but that was because of my broadband mac issue and not the hardware. One thing i like is that even after 30 hrs of use it has no heat or slight temp issue.

I have purchased this device in January 2017 at a discount price. To date no issues with the device. Let me tell us this is “Router” and not modem-router or modem.I got bsnl connection and the BSNL engineer while giving connection told it’s just router and can’t give broadband connection. But I tried this device with broadband which I got in my friend’s home. Just plugged in the RJ45 cable to the WAN port and did the configuration. Worked perfectly and I was able to get wireless connection too.This is better than TP-Link N150 ASDL+ modem router. Range of this device is much more than the TP-Link modem router. This we checked in my friend’s home. The range is perfectly good and u will get good signals.This device can be used with any ISPs. If u are getting BSNL connection or any RJ11 cable connection then just get adopter for it. IT WILL WORK. This is wireless router but for me it is working like modem too. Best product for me.

N300 router with dual antenna for half the price of competitive brands made this the best choice..Offering 300mbps speed on ethernet and around 35mbps on wifi for file transfer.Sadly offering only 3.4 MBps speed on file downloads over internet although connection speed is 50mbps old N150 use to give 1.3mbps so still a noticeable bump.The range is fair enough to cover every corner of our 1300sqft apartment. May offer little more if operating open doors.Overall a bang for buck router

got it for 699 a very good one when compared to other brands.good rangegood speedshassle free installationI am used to these tenda routers. I own four of them. Any way I have used many other routers also, but these tenda routers are THE BEST in terms of friendly UI. Any no vice users can set these things.These are the best at the very affordable prices.But this Tenda N301 gets heated if you use it continuosly. My other routers Tenda FH330 stays very cool and I use it 24hrs a day, but is expensive.My tenda N150 also stays very cool and I use it continuosly 24hrs.

amazing product for family use
i have been using this product since march and now its august , this is 5 months and i have faced absolutely no problems till now. this is not so black and white, i am using broadband in this router. sometimes it just becomes very slow and sometimes it just disconnects form the internet. this happens usually for 1 day . and after it again becomes normal . i dont know wether this is problem in router or the broadband and thus i am not jumping on the conclusion . well this was my honest revew. otherwise very easy in installation. i have no complains about this router.

excellent router with the features a user wants1. no dead points even at 3bhk flat i.e. it has has a wide coverage2. cheapest 300mbps router .3. expected it to be a little bigger as my brother had tp link router which is 150 mbps nd single antenna nd bigger than it but its like a large power packed up in small one . believe me its better than others its a magic box.4. in budget @ 958rs in this budget people usually get 150mbs and single antenna routers of tp link net gear etc. but its 300mbs nd dual antenna so its definitely worth buying5. excellent speedgo for it guys 🙂

Great value for money deal. I am using this router as repeater and it’s very easy. I use it for my cctv DVR also and it works nice . After connection mobile hotspot speed also increases and Range is also sufficient for 1 floor. U can connect any hotspot anytime using Android or PC browser. It also catches Wifi signal far from my home so I can connect my neighbor’s wifi also.

Trouble free operations.
I am using it as a booster for Wifi signal in a room where the signal strength from the router modem installed elsewhere in my house was not good. Now getting good signal strength. I did not connect or install it myself. It was done by a Jio Fiber technician. But he took just about five minutes to install and configure it on my Jio Fiber Wifi network. Also connected it to the Jio Set top box which in turn is connected to my smart TV.

It’s a very good product. Awesome range; much better than my existing, pricey dlink router.I use this one as range extender for my older router.This one is not ADSL router. Meaning- you cannot use phone line broadband with this.One problem I faced during initial setup: The default IP of this router is 192.168.0.1. However, my older router uses 192.168.1.1. So I was unable to access this router after setting up as range extender. Then I changed the IP of this one to 192.168.1.2. After that I could set up password etc, and use it as a range extender.It’s been a couple of months. No issues till now. It’s a small, light-weight, good looking device.

Honestly, I never heard of Tenda before but went ahead and bought this based on a friends recommendation. Got the product in a few days and MAN, I love it! The router is tiny, looks seriously cool and places in the house I never used to get range before now has range. I’ve used a TP-Link and Netgear before but Tenda blows it competition away!Very easy to install (proper installation guide provided) and the router GUI looks cool too. Can’t get simpler than this. Go for it!!

Best budget wireless WiFi range extender
I am writng this review after using this product for almost 1 month. I am using D-link 270U as main router connected with BSNL ONT. I was looking for WiFi range extender as D-link was not able to cover entire area of our bungalow. I had doubts that is Tenda will able to extend WiFi range ?, but after easy and quick installation I am happy to see that TendaN 300 work perfectly. It provides seemless performance to entire WiFi range. The interconnection between two routers are done wirelessly. In other words Tenda receive WiFi signal from D-link, and after strengthen it, it re-transmit signals.

Awesome product from tplink. I am using it scene 20 days, and I didn’t find anything wrong. Even I didn’t find any heating issues, I turned the router on for 7 days constantly. Even the router looks small but having lots of features inside, like QOS , PORT TRIGGERING, MAC FILTER / ACL ETC. You can use the route as a wireless repeter also.Only a single thing is there you can’t wall mount it.It’s worth of single penny..The main part is wireless signal is very strong .my router is in 2nd floor and I got 2 WiFi signal in ground floor .

Pros: Worth for price. It ranges high speed upto 10 Mbps on average. I installed it in terrace room & it also connects in my home, which was stone built. But I suggest for further best performance to buy 3 antena wifi modem which is best for stone built house.Cons: No cons so far.Note: Choose Antena capacity as per your Bandwidth and area covered. Small room: 1 Antena, Hall upto 1000sq.ft – 2antena, morethan 1000 sft – 3Antena.

I still has a working TP-Link router but that sucks in the range. I was getting the range even in 2 BHK flat. I choose Tenda because of excellent reviews on its range and it has really wide and strong range. Setup is really easy.Tip : To get perfect range you need to adjust the antenna position optimally. Use any network speed app and try with different antenna position and you will able to get perfect range. You can also read some articles about setting up router antenna in optimal position.

Easy to install and use
This router has presets for a home router’s most frequently used features. For configuring Access Point mode, I didn’t have to manually disable DHCP and set the IP of the second router. It came with a preset.

1-YEAR USAGE REVIEW !!********************************I initially thought of buying d-link or Linksys, which are more commonly used routers, but I said myself, let’s give a try on the newproduct, so ordered one. I tell you guys I never disappointed in a single day in 13 months of usage.The main features of this product are:* Very small and cute – it’s very small with dual antenna and looks beautiful in white color. You can put the entire router on your palm that much small, you may check photos attached by me below.* Powerhouse – My router will be always on 24/7, I never noticed it’s getting the HOT or signal drop, I generally switch it off when I go out on the weekends i.e once in 1 or 2 weeks.* WIFI signal – you can reduce or increase the signal frequency of a router by logging onto router through the web, I didn’t use full frequency, buteven I get a signal from 2nd floor to ground floor and in front of building where I play shuttle.* Hardware – The hardware and build quality seems good. It has 3 LAN ports, reset button, 1 LAN Input, and power plugin and power adapter.SETUP – It’s very easy to set it up, I don’t think so there is a need to give detailed info here, as it has a paper printed drawings to understand easily and IP and password details bottom of the router, you may go through it.I do not find any remarks/negatives of the product.Final Word – I’d definitely suggest you buy this product !!

Good Range, Very easy to install for normal users, but no access to advanced settings for experts.
Got it at 800. Comes with 2 antennas and gives full signal in my 4storey house. I just got it as a backup router and Im impressed how little I needed to set it running. There are rare hiccups but Im not sure if its my ISP or this routerOnly con is that apart from setting the IP+DNS and wifi configuration there is not much settings that can be tweaked.

I purchased this router for office use. It sits on my desk connected to the LAN on my desk for use on a laptop and a phone sitting on the same desk. In other words, I cannot talk about how good the signal strength is or the speeds 🤣. However, the device offers great value for money, is compact and looks pretty cute. Works as a router should at this distance.

It’s price is worth it but I face some issues with my internet connection in my old Tenda n301 router (suppose you have download something then suddenly router shows no internet connection then when I unplugged the main ethernet cable [which give internet to the router] and plug it back then the internet came and my internet connection is not making any problems with pc via ethernet and Android tv via ethernet they just works fine

Well what can I say!This has been the best VFM product for me this year after COOLPAD NOTE 3 Lite.———-***************————- Range:———-***************————- It gives me approx. 150-200 meter range. all 3 floor coverage and gets good quality video streaming on 1 mbps BSNL snail connection. I can watch youtube to the endpoint of the range. My comparison between D-link 2750-U and Tenda router will be there in Picture.The redline is Dlink’s range which hardly covers 2 floors.Blue line is TEnDA which is doing a great job and a Jaw-dropping result literally. It even beats the Mi Router which I compared when visiting My friend’s home.==============================Setup:==============================It is easy as any other router.. just had to include the extender details and security and done. WEP, WPA and WPA-2 options are available. This is a good product, especially at this price. Although the adapter of my router stopped functioning just after 5 days of purchase yet I shall recommend this because when I purchased a new adapter for it, it worked fine after that. It has been more than 3 months and I have not faced any issue except first adapter failure. I have used it continuously for 10 days without switching off for once and there is no problem at all.Pros:1. Durable. You can use it for weeks without even switching it off once.2. No issue in ping or any other thing. Works absolutely fine.3. The range is also good. I am getting enough speed at a distance of 5-6 meters (15-20 feets). I have a 1 Mbps connection and I am getting 800-900 kbps at a distance of 30 feets.Cons:1. No such benefit of double antennas as you will never get a connection of more than 100 Mbps and one antenna router is enough for that (one antenna router is enough for speed up to 150 Mbps).2. The Service centre is a very big problem. If you are far from Delhi then stay away from this router as Tenda has service centre only in Delhi. You will not be able to take the benefits of warranty if you are living far from Delhi.

A very decent product with excellent features. It has 3 modes – WISP, Universal Repeater & Access Point mode to select from. The features include Mac Filter, Bandwidth Control, Static IP, Dynamic DNS, Parental controls, Port Forwarding, DMZ Host, AP Isolation, WPS, Access Control and a max. speed upto 300mbps.With the exception of one time when I had to reset it as I was checking out its functionality in different modes, I had no issues with disconnects or any loss of signal quality – keep in mind I am only using within a room.It does seem durable and expecting it to last longer. The only flaw with this is in the design as the ventilation holes are located at the bottom and there is not enough clearance from the surface for optimal heat dissipation which is critical when used for longer hours continuously. Overall a very good product.

This Router is really rocking using it since 7 months. Had no issues. signal strength is coming for more than 8 metres.. Easy installation procedure is good and i liked it. Compared to other competitors looks small and performs great. Only thing is upper materiel was bit delicate. Any way If we configure once and leave it like that. This is not at all an issue. Got it for 650 in lightening deal. Just go for it if u want cheap and best service… Bachelors can go for it with out any issues. Tenda is performing well, and I had nice experience with it

Absolutely happy with this small router! setting it up takes just 3-4 mins of time! range is excellent upto 2 floors but ya signal obviously fluctuate in after penetrating 3 walls but internet speed never suffer! i downloaded around 8-9gb in 4-5 hours after setting it up wifi with 6 devices connected (friends) without any lag or whatsoever!! heating is very low! i am using alliance broadband(static ip)! i bookmarked the ISP’s login page on my phone’s browser so that i don’t have to bother switching on my laptop! Well i am happy with Tenda :D. Oh btw MRP was 2k!

Cheap and good router which can be setup as repeater or WISP bridge which was my main intended usage, setting it up as repeater was little tricky but did manage to do so in less than 1 hour and when combined with a Netgear ADSL modem + router combo , it covers my 1800 Sq feet apartment with ease. happy with the product , unsure about the warranty part because a lot of friends of mine couldn’t claim warranty for broken routers. One for my home and another for my dad’s office and it work great .I have used routers from other brands and i have to say that this is the best one so far . The routers i have used in the past from other brands are often a mess to set up . They require you to perform different steps and contacting your isp now and then .This is the easiest to setup . I set the router up within five minutes . I have two of this in my house. Electronics is always a luck, either it works perfectly or it fails abruptly. I am lucky both works perfectly for me. I have 150Mbps speed internet at home. My previous routers are also single band router and they were able to give a max output of 30Mbps. After I installed this router, I am getting 80Mbps speed. And these routers are single band only. As I do not stream any 4K contents, 80Mbps is more than enough for 1080P contents. I have more than 10 devices at home that connects to this router. Hence I have two of it. Still there is no lag of speed in any devices.As long as u stream content in 1080P, no need of dual band routers. This one is best for it.Note: I have Gigabit switch and CAT6 grade cable installed in my house.

Awesome product from tplink. I am using it scene 20 days, and I didn’t find anything wrong. Even I didn’t find any heating issues, I turned the router on for 7 days constantly. Even the router looks small but having lots of features inside, like QOS , PORT TRIGGERING, MAC FILTER / ACL ETC. You can use the route as a wireless repeter also.Only a single thing is there you can’t wall mount it.It’s worth of single penny..The main part is wireless signal is very strong .my router is in 2nd floor and I got 2 WiFi signal in ground floor .

This company makes hundreds of devices so they are no small fly. Even with the cons I still gave a 5 star due to the price and functionality and if this has any long lasting quality then it would be well worth it. My old linksys/cisco router lasted over a decade even through lightning storms and power problems so I hope this lasts a few years at least..You can download the manual from their website for more information but for some functions has still not been explained or how to use it. Guess that is why you have google search.This is missing an option for disabling web management via wifi. Once someone gains access to your router, they can sit and run a program to brute force crack the router password. But it does have a remote web management where you can specify an IP to manage the router from the internet. This is a problem for guest mode access where they have access to the router via wifi mode. I have had trouble with Trojans trying to brick the router after it gains access from some infected PC’s. So here it is either an isolated guest router or a secure internal router but not a mixed one.This also allows you to set up 2 AP/Routers with 2 separate SSID’s and their security and you can split the bandwidth between the 2 like using 2 separate routers of 150m each.. You can also set individual MAC address/IP bandwidth but this wont work with open service as you need to know the MAC address/IP before hand, so guests cant be allowed to use the router with low bandwidth mode etc but you can share the bandwidth with your friends and restrict them after you already get their MAC/IP address.. But you can also set a range of DHCP-IP’s with controlled bandwidth but there is nothing to say how to make sure guests get a particular range of IPs. This feature would have been great for visitors to check email or notifications etc with low bandwidth use and not get access to your entire inside networkAnother missing options is the radio power setting, it has none. So you cant set it for lower power use to make it only visible/work inside your flat. This works quiet far in line of sight mode. I easily get a signal at 100 meters and can see it more like at 200metrs at low speeds with no obstructions. The more obstructions the shorter the distance. But it is further than my old Linksys. So now the entire neighborhood and their brother can see my router. And it is missing the new 5GHZ band from wifi. Both AP’s use the same channel even if they act like 2 separate AP’s with different passwords and setup’s and it would have been nice to have both 2.4GHZ and 5GHZ modes with 2.4ghz for guests and 5GHZ for yourself and high bandwidth. But it still has AP isolation for the entire router to be used in guest mode.Some have said this does not get warm, well the heat vents are under the router so that is where it does get warm, not the top. The adapter is a 9v 600ma one which is twice the rating of my old Linksys 12v 300ma one, so this does take and use more power as it has 2 radio’s. The router itself is rather small. The DC adapter cord is rather short, so you need a wall socket close by.Although missing some important features, it also comes with many options. And being Chinese there is not many 3rd party user modified roms for it with extra functions like you find for Linksys or other routers. But by default it comes with a lot of functions that users wrote code for anyway so you wont miss it that much. Like bridging modes or relays or acting like AP’s or wifi only repeaters etc..And considering it is much cheaper than even the single AP 150m routers of other OEM’s this is a steal for the price and you get a 300m router with independent setup for 2 router modes and extended bandwidth.The green LED’s are low power and so low visibility and it is hard to see them easily, would have been better with red LED indicators.

The product is awesome. I think its better than TP-link WR841 N. I am at least 2 to three bars in the ground floor. I have installed it on the 2nd floor and getting a good signal wherever I am on the room. I am using it non stop 24 hrs no problem found so far. It supports a/b/g/n it is not a 5 ghz WiFi but it has 2.4 ghz transmitter. All is well for now.

It is not more than 11 Mbps when connecting through airtel 4g in a hotspot which has a speed between 20 to 30 Mbps in my area. But it has no problem with bsnl 3g.it is suitable for 1bhk home. internet speed down when it using more than 15-20 hours.after 5-10 minutes its speed comes back. Very cheap and lightweight than others available in the market.Internet speed down on 1 wifi signal.

Best N300 router out there for QoS. I can give enough bandwidth to each device in my home so that no one hogs the bandwidth. This can be done by binding MAC to IP address and then allocate bandwidth to the IP or IP range. Even the router with 3-4 times in price don’t give this feature.You can monitor traffic by each IP at a slight cost of performance.This device can run 24×7 smoothly. reboots in less than 10 seconds. fastest reboot ever. easiest configuration. Signal range is same as other overpriced N300 devices.Secondary SSID is an excellent feature. So you can configure 2 different Wi-Fi networks on same router. This way you can avoid exposing file share to the unwanted users.I use fiber ONT connection and maybe because of this the lights on the router do not indicate if the line is down. they continue blinking/on the same.I have ordered 1 N150 and 2 N300 Tenda routers for myself and family and all are working great without a single problem so far.Bottom line: This is the best VFM router out there. the quality is amazing for the given price and “Full Paisa vasul” if this works for 12-14 months.

I’m using this router from 2 month. It is good and easy to install, but its signal is not much only 50-100 meters. But if want to use for your personal use mean only in your home or office then it is good and your neighbours can take benifit from your wifi that is near is your home.Overall nice Router.

Perfectly working as wifi repeter/ range extender. No LAN connection require with main router.
I buy this as repeter and it’s working perfect. I just go to tenda web and follow the instruction in video about how to configure as wifi repeter and it’s simple. Now it’s work as wifi repeter/ range extender without any lan connection with parent my TP link router. It’s catch wifi signal from my TP link and extend it. Happy with Tenda N301. Range also good.1 star reduce because of delivery people.

Cheap price and great performance.
There is lots of potential in this brand itself and the quality and price range they offer is usually good.I like the light and small compact design of this product. The price at which it comes, it gives nice range and speed.Although I say if your house has multiple storey like me then its range is not so good (not considering the price). It usually has a good coverage up to 2nd floor but kinda struggles at 3rd floor. You can connect up to three devices via lan.At this price range, its a must buy product.

It was very easy to setup as said by the seller.Just connect the modem and router with lan cable and connevt the router to the pc.Then by typing the ip adress it opens a widow where we can provide our wifi pasword and now the router is set to use.I just got the product delivered ad started using it and now i am fully satisfied

I got this on Deals for 800 INR. Tenda Networking products are all about reliability and how easy it is to configure them.The UI is extremely User Friendly. I use this with S***ty BSNL Modem,it is extremely easy to configure[PPPOE] than I expected it to be.I bought it to use as a Repeater to cover all floors but well the range was great so using it as primary router and media server for nowPros:-Range:Dual 5dBi Antennas have Great Range.It covers 2 floors perfectly and no connections drops even on Low SignalUser Friendly UI:Its pretty easy to configure. Got it working in less then 10mins. No need of the CD just follow the Manual.Other Wifi modes:Works as Access Point and Repeater also has WISP ModeWhat I like about it is,It doesnt heat up even on Prolonged usage. Its ON ever since I got it and its cool compared to BSNL Modem sitting beside it which feels like a frying pan.Now the Cons:Its Pretty Tiny and feels fragile.Its gonna be waaaay tinier then everyone one of you expect it to be.It looked like like tiny crab in the Box it was sent it xDThat being said this is probably cheapest 300Mbps Wifi Router with all these Features make it the Most VFM product if you are on a hunt for a 300Mbps Router with a tight Budget .

I USED LAST ONE PRODUCT OF MY EXPERIENCES GOOD.PRO :CHEAP AND BESTEASY SET UP ( WITHOUT ANY CD’S )RANGE OF WIFI BETTER WITH TWO ANTENNA AND ITS USED ALSO EXTENDER VIA WPS BUTTON GIVEN .IN BOX I GET 1 ROUTER ,RJ 45 CABLE ,MANUAL BOOK ,SOFTWARE CD’S ,POWER ADAPTER, WARRANTY CARD .CON’S : WIFI NAME SSID HIDDEN OPTION NOT GIVEN WALL MOUNT HOLE NOT PRESENTS

Small and easy to use.
I have been using this router for a year now. Do not have a single problem with it. It is very light and has a small form factor. Very easy to set up and operate. Anyone with technical knowledge of computers or without can easily use this router. One of the best routers in the market. I have not turned off this device in over a year and it still working fine. You can definitely trust and buy this product.

very nice and small good looking range is excellent ,kept in 1st floor of my building and the strength is approx 3bar down on the ground floor, not an open area.The antenna is not a copper wire , which used to be in tenda n150( which is a great omnidirectional antenna), the antenna here is a pcb which is copper plated in an zig zag manner i think.I dont know the internal connection of the circuit , i have not opened it yet, but yea i guess it has 2 RF modulator for 2 seperate antennas, so that the range is maximum which the 5dbi antenna can give.one thing i can tell for sure it has a broadcom chipset and it is very good ,also gets heated up buts the heat is not a big issue, because internally it has a 3v regulator ic which supplies to the chip and the whole circuitry.my router is always on .. and has a good traffic statistics.For good and very high range coverage buy a 9dbi antenna and solder it , works like a charm!!i think the cost is low here because of the pcb mounted antenna.ohh and one thing the configuaration software of the router is cool and very easy to use , not like other complicated config setup..

There are two version of this router, this one is the Version 2.Ever since I saw a helpful video from Tenda on YouTube I wanted to repay them by buying their product, so as this product costed Rs. 799 I thought it was best to buy it. As we wouldn’t have spent as much money as buying their product and it would have also been like repaying them.We have TP-Link’s WR840N router connected to our Internet, we are disappointed with it’s performance.So we thought buying this product would have solved two problems at once.Tenda N301 comes in a shrink wrapped box, the box was slightly compressed in two corners. But the product was undamaged.In the box, they provide: 1 x N301 router 1 x Ethernet cable 1 x Power adapter (Indian plugs) 1 x manual 1 x warranty cardThis router has 4 Ethernet ports, their capability is 100Mbps, on either side of these ports are power socket and reset button. On the top of the surface of the router are 6 green LEDs, it also has the company name etched.Unlike other companies, all the 4 Ethernet ports are same colour, some companies distinguish the WAN port with a different colour. The WAN port is indicated by etching but it is not very visible on white colour.Performance: The response is instantaneous, with TP-Link WR840N, our devices would take a while to connect and get an IP, with this router our devices are connecting instantaneously. The user interface is also nice to look at, and easy to manage. This router has a power saving feature, which when enabled, can reduce the power of the signal and reboot itself early morning when the network traffic is below 3KBsps.Once you log into the web interface, it immediately shows how many devices are connected and how much data is being sent and received. I didn’t see this feature in any router I’ve used so far.When I received it, it already came with the most upto date version of the firmware.Because of our Internet connection we didn’t say improvement in speed, it was the same as it was with TP-Link WR840N. Signal strength slightly increased.We had to return it because our family preferred the old router.

How to Use This Work Horse…
I am a heavy Internet user.I keep my wifi on for at least 12 to 15 hours every day.And I’m using this little router for 3-4 months.This little beast is sending and receiving hundreds of GBs of data without any rest (and fail).Before buying any routerAsk your ISP about compatibility issues with different routers ,ex. my previous Netgear router did not work well with my new ISP.I had to power cycle it every now and then.If you know any fellow customer of the same ISP, ask him/her.After receiving the router – If you are installing it yourself :After setting up the router according to the quick install guide that comes with it ,Do command prompt tests- ping your router to check if it’s working or not, ipconfig/all ,etc.update the router firmware (see section 6.Tools).1.Advanced section :A.In internet connection setup a.Tweak the MTU size (on router page ) for the optimum performance.You have to ping websites such as yahoo or google on different mtu numbers.Google it.B.WAN speedI have set it to 100M full duplex as I use it upstairs as well as downstairs.I still get 98% of speed downstairs.C.DHCP client listI have facilitated static assignment to my devices .You have to figure it out from DHCP client list in the bottom of the page.Just add their IP addresses and MAC addresses in the static assignment boxes.2.Wireless sectionA.Wireless Basic Settingsa.I have chosen 11 b/g/n mixed mode in Network Modeb.Keep AP isolation disabledc.If you have a dozen of wifi connections showing up in available connections ,then set appropriate channel – test it with internet speed test.If you can, check neighborhood channel settings.I don’t know if there are software available for such purpose.You can look into it…B.Access Control : you can block unwanted devices on your connection3.QoSYou can control accessible bandwidth to every device on the network.Add the static IP address and choose desirable bandwidth range.If you want limit bandwidth for a single device add the same 3-digit number in the both boxes.But if you want to add IP adress range then you have to change the settings in Static Assignment in Advanced section ( that we’ve discussed before)4.ApplicationsA.Port Range ForwardingThis is very useful tool for p2p application.This is dynamic section and differs user to user.Make changes only after doing good research or asking experts…B.DMZ hostI have enabled it on my desktop.It should be enabled for special services such as internet gaming.5.SecurityThis is section for advanced user .In this section you can block/allow specified devices , websites ,etc for specific period of time.Good for parents and small offices.6.Toolsin this section you cana.Reboot your routerb.Restore the router to factory settingsc.Back up you router settings on computer when your router’s performance is the way you want, at its peak.And you can retrieve this saved settings whenever you want.I recommend it.d.MOST IMPORTANT : upgrade your router firmwareYou need to go to Tenda’s website currently tendacn(dot)com , click on services and support ,specify your product name : N301 and find resources for the router.Save it on your computer and upgrade the router firmware selecting the saved file.Run DNSBench (a software) if possible.That’s what I did and it worked well….

I have been using this product about an year and no complaints so far. Easy setup and configuration.Wifi range is good and covers me through two walls, it basically covers me throughout my 2 BHK apartment and even down upto ground floor.Highly recommended for home & small office use.

Range is really good i mean very good indeed.Form factor is also small(kinda cute).One can also use it as repeater if they want.Not ideal for gaming ping can be slightly high.Overall a very good package for simple use like internet surfing, watching videos and stuff.

This product has been a good buy. At first I thought this is some local brand but when I checked its website I was amazed to see that it is being used in multiple continents like America and Europe.And now it’s been more than week of usage and I found this product a performer. Good signal range,easy to install and the best thing is I got it at 599 bucks only under a deal. It doesn’t heat up much as I hardly switch it off for days.It provides all router options which you get in other known brands. So go for it.
