Worked at jeevanpramaan.gov.in. Packaging, though looked new, was not sealed.
Used the “Mantra MFS100 Biometric Fingerprint Scanner” with a Windows 10 desktop to generate and upload digital life certificate for jeevanpramaan.gov.in for pensioneer. Instructions need to be followed available both at jeevan praman web site and device manufacturer’s web site. However, the instructions are easy to follow, and completed without any glitches. The device and its services worked, and life certificate was accepted at jeevanpramaan.gov.in.The bank for some unknown reason rejected the certificate at jeevanpramaan.gov.in, and we had to visit bank physically, however, I don’t think that is any fault of this device since it did what it was supposed to.The device did not come in a sealed box. Not sure if that is how manufacturer is shipping it. But it did look new and all that, so finally I wont take off any stars from my rating.

I have been using this to submit my Digital Life certificate since 2019. It was easy to install and also the submission was made without much glitches both in 2019 and 20. In fact , I have also written a blogpost on submission of digital life certificate for the benefit of my bank retiree friends and mention has been made about the use of this. This is also, I believe , one of the recommended finger print scanners of some Nationalized banks, as evidenced from their circular to their retirees. I have not so far had any issues in its use and a couple of my friends also using this are satisfied with the purchase

The product is good and easy to install and use. There is no connection adapter for C type connection mobile.It has a universal USB connector for mobile. Request to vendor and supplier to take this feed back to provide C type connection adapter, beacuse now a days all mobile are commin as C type charging point.

Its not easy to setup but once you configure it, you can validate your fingerprint and create life certificate for pensioners.I only need to do it once a year but still ended up buying it for my mother to avoid hassle visiting PNB bank, they treat you like they are doing a favour, sometimes their internet doesn’t work, sometimes their device is not working, and some they will ask to fill physical forms.ModiJi please retire such sarkari people.

We don’t require an iris scanner or finger print device for generating jeevan pramaan
We don’t require an iris scanner or finger print device for generating jeevan pramaan life certificate. I always used mantra finger print device for the life certificate of AP GOVT family pension. However, now a days, her finger prints are not recognised by the mantra device. Then, I downloaded jeevan prammam face app and followed their instructions. My smartphone selfie worked as an iris scanner for my mother and it generated a jeevan pramaan life certificate.

it does not connect easily as per my experience it has a need to install first drivers and rd software this available on the mantra site depend on your supporting os win is this depend on your machine version but don’t use the old version you must download the new drivers and another one if you want to check this machine are working or not, it pretty simply goes on mobile play store and search mantra fingerprint app and connect this machine using otg which is available in your product box accessories, and open the app there also show your machine connect or not and put the finger on the machine screen get the best result

I bought the device to help my father get his Jeewan Praman and unlike devices at Aadhar centres etc it worked well.It is plug and play with self installing drivers but the interface with Jeewan praman requires some RD service to be activated. It took a lot of trial and error to do that but now the device works well Tried to reach their call and mailed their support when I was struck but could not get through or get helpful responses.

The product is very nice and helpful for old pensioners. During COVID-19, for safety reasons the pensioners avoid going outside and interact with other public places. Last year they were selling it at around Rs 4000/- per pcs. This year I bought it @ Rs. 1898/- now they are selling @ Rs 1950/-. This item should not cost more than Rs 300/- (Microsoft webcam is available @ Rs 220/-).I bought it to generate Jeevan Praman Life Certificate required to continue my meager EPS95 pension disbursed by EPFO. Though it can be done both on mobile as well as PC/Laptop, I found using Mobile (Android) was easy and hassle free. This will be used only once a year. Due to Covid, I could not share it with others (hope there is no issue in sharing it). May be next year I will share/loan it. Jeevan Praman can be similarly generated using few other makes also which are authorised by Government. May be they took advantage of that and are selling it at higher price, License-raj style.

I can understand why this is one of the most sold fingerprint readers in India. Excellent reader. But for me it was not at first, because it’s easy to setup on Windows/Android. But for Linux OS, it is not supported not as mentioned in it’s official site. So, Windows/Android only if you want to use it. One time investment, solid built quality.

The product is good. Build quality is not that impressive but should work. Installation is a little hard. Beware sometimes installation brings malware/trojan. Had to clean up (make sure you have antivirus installed) PC twice before the installation actually worked properly.Product is Good for jeevan pramaan certificate generation.

Its not easy to setup but once you configure it, you can validate your fingerprint and create life certificate for pensioners.I only need to do it once a year but still ended up buying it for my mother to avoid hassle visiting PNB bank, they treat you like they are doing a favour, sometimes their internet doesn’t work, sometimes their device is not working, and some they will ask to fill physical forms.ModiJi please retire such sarkari people.

A must have item for generating DLC. In future it may helpful for elderly for many more things requiring secured biometric based transactions.Setting up is not easy. It is not plug and play, hence people without much knowledge on software and devices will find it difficult to install and use.

Works as advertised. I used it for Jeevan Praman Life Certificate and it worked both on Windows Laptop and Android phone.If you are not IT savvy , downloading the drivers could be a bit of an issue , however you can still try by trail and error method and you will get thru……
