I had read other reviews before, so I knew what to expect. The device is detected as USB 3 however the write speeds are below average. This is expected at this price range.See attached CrystalDiskMark snapshot.Cap option is good. Also the holder for tie cable is also good design. They could have added indicator LED but then it would have increased the cost.My first Kingston USB Pen drive. All others so far have always been Sandisk

Performs better than a USB2 but in no way this is 3.2. Doesn’t matter much as in this price range most pendrives from reputable brands are USB2.

Review after 8 months of usage -It can maintain constant read speeds of approximately 100 MB/s and write speeds of approximately 25 MB/s to and from a laptop’s internal SSD. It doesn’t heat up when transferring large amounts of data. To transfer files larger than 4GB, it needs to be formatted to NTFS (exFat cannot transfer files larger than 4GB).Build quality is adequate. It’s entirely made of plastic, hence will get scratched upon rough use.A must buy if you can get it around Rs. 300.

Good for occasional writes, such as a windows installation drive.
Since the write speed is awfully slow, it can be used as a drive where you don’t need to write files very often. Read speed is satisfactory. Build quality is satisfactory. Price is okay (399) considering the write performance. Scanned the drive with ‘Rufus bad blocks check (2 pass)’ and there were no bad blocks at arrival. Doesn’t get hot, just a bit warm.

There pendrives are lightweight and their design is pretty good. It is becoming very hard to find pendrives with the traditional “CAP” on them. Over all good product with quality and reasonable price. One thing I found is that it’s width is little bit more than regulare other make pen drives. I wanted to use this pen drive as an internal memory extension in my Nvidia Shield TV Pro. Due to more width, it was interfering with the adjacent HDMI cable, hence pen drive was fitted at an angle. Though it was fitted at an angle, it was working and hence I accepted. So other buyers, keep this in mind, where you have similar configuration.

Bought this for 249 only and the plastic built quality is actually good. Pendrive is slick and good looking. There is no blinking light at the end if you think that translucent ring has something to do with it. It’s just for holding purpose. It easily touches read speeds above 100mbps as you can see in the pictures. Write speed isn’t that good as a USB 3.0 USB Drive but for this price it’s pretty good.

Got the 32GB USB 3.2 gen 1 variant for 339rs. Gives decent speed on a USB3.0 port. Write speed began around 25mbps and touched 29 for a while and then dropped to an average of 9mbps. Consider the sustained write speed to be 9-10mbps as it fluctuates between 6 and 12 after a few % completed at 25+ mbps.

This is good pen drive with good speed. There are some reviews who said speed is not good. I have attached the screen shot where speed is almost 90mbps. It depends upon your HDD speed and CPU speed. It’s 3.2 gen 1 (i.e. usb 3.0) not the 3.2 gen 2.
It is a great deal under INR 300.NOTE: it is usb 3.2 gen 1 which is actually a usb 3.0, so don’t expect from it get the speed of usb 3.2 gen 2 (which has real usb 3.2 speeds).Pros: – No overheating. – Decent & Sustained transfer speeds (no fluctuation in speeds). – 5 year warranty.Cons: – speed could be better.Conclusion: – Bang for buck product. Speed could be better.- But the most important thing to be noted is that it sustains its speed while transferring data rather than having fluctuating data transfer speeds.

Speed: Speed is as given in the description. For those who are not getting high enough speed it can be because of not plugging it into the right port. It’s a usb 3.2 gen 1 pen drive so make sure your port is upto that mark. You will get usb 2.0 speed if you plug it into the same.Durability: Though the body is made with plastic its not of bad quality. Quality is good and it also comes with a cap! Value for money.I bought that 64gb one for college and haven’t encountered any issue till now! A must buy pen-drive for all those students, travellers or business persons out there 😉

Nice retro looking drive. I love the slightly bigger physical size of the pen drive. But was astonished to see only 28.8 GB space. Even if the pen drive was manufactured with 32,000,000,000 bytes it would had 29.802322 GB space which after formatting and other losses should have given 29.6 GB plus. I think the manufacturer is keeping aside some space for future, when the drive do develop some bad sectors. This could be a good strategy, although I am not very sure. I haven’t really checked the speed, but apparently is quick to response in both my desktop and laptop copying files quickly.

Does the job, Kingston is pretty good.
It does what is expected. As much as can be expected.Kingston is a known brand now, and performance and quality is a given.The cap posts at the rear of the drive. Miss the lanyards or finger lanyards we used to get with USB sticks, not too long ago. Especially since there is a rather large hole to attach the same in this particular model.

Review after 8 months of usage -It can maintain constant read speeds of approximately 100 MB/s and write speeds of approximately 25 MB/s to and from a laptop’s internal SSD. It doesn’t heat up when transferring large amounts of data. To transfer files larger than 4GB, it needs to be formatted to NTFS (exFat cannot transfer files larger than 4GB).Build quality is adequate. It’s entirely made of plastic, hence will get scratched upon rough use.A must buy if you can get it around Rs. 300.

I bought 3 of these I am happy with purchase. Build quality is very nice and comes with cap which protects from dust. I will be using it as a bootable disk for windows and Linux os. On usb 2 port write speed varies from 8 to 10.5 mbps. Read speed 30 to 60mbps. It touches 100mpbs sometimes. Couldn’t test on usb 3 since my laptop is old one. I am happy with read and write speed and and also with the product.

USB 3.0 pendrive in USB 2.0 Price.However, on connecting to USB 3 in some devices, particularly desktops and All-in-Ones are getting disconnected due to overcurrent protection.However USB 2.0 is not having any such issue.In USB 2.0. READ Speeds are great. Write speeds are average 10-12 MBPS.I am using it as bootable device using ventoy.BEST VALUE for 32 GB.
