Read and Write speeds are very low. Even though it is mentioned as USB 3.2 Gen 1, it delivers speeds like USB 2.0. I tried it in port that is USB 3.2 Gen 1 compatible.

I got the best value but I have no Idea about USB 3.2 because I don’t have any option to check the speed of data transfer (usb 3) but if you’re looking for 32GB under ₹400 then this is the best option to buy.

128 GB at 1400 Rs is good value. The specifications says USB 3.2 compatible however the writing speed is too slow. My laptop and PC both have USB 3.2 compatible ports and this slowness is observed on both machines. I have a 64 gb USB 3.0 drive and it is way more faster than this one. Not sure if I got a lemon or the drive is inherently slow. Other owner’s comments may help.
Narinderjeet Kaur –
Does what’s it’s supposed to do. It’s not blazing fast but faster than USB 2.1 of course. It’s one of the cheapest USB 3.2 pendrive out there.

Transfer dada speed Average 9-10 mbps, this is not 3.1 or 3.2, this is like 2.0 usb, there is no LED light into the pendrive.

The packaging clearly says it is a USB 3.2 Flash Drive but the speed sucks if you use it on a USB 3.0 interface. But if we look at the price which was 669 for a 64 GB one was justified. I will say if you have a better option go for it.

Sadly the reviews which are claiming that this drive is ridiculously slow are true. This is really slow pendrive, refer the attached benchmark for more clear idea. It was on gen 1 USB3 port.Works even more miserably at lagacy ports. Got R/RW speeds of 30/10MBps respectively on USB2 Port.

Speed: Speed is as given in the description. For those who are not getting high enough speed it can be because of not plugging it into the right port. It’s a usb 3.2 gen 1 pen drive so make sure your port is upto that mark. You will get usb 2.0 speed if you plug it into the same.Durability: Though the body is made with plastic its not of bad quality. Quality is good and it also comes with a cap! Value for money.I bought that 64gb one for college and haven’t encountered any issue till now! A must buy pen-drive for all those students, travellers or business persons out there 😉

Write speed: 1024000000 bytes (1.0 GB) copied, 255.53 s, 4.0 MB/s4min 15sec for 1GB; This is on low end. And pathetic for USB3 claim.Read speed : 1024000000 bytes (1.0 GB) copied, 12.6417 s, 81.0 MB/sBuild is sturdy. The product I got was original, with proper labeling. I will keep this pen drive for archiving photos and videos. For sharing big files , this is a rather slow device.

Since the write speed is awfully slow, it can be used as a drive where you don’t need to write files very often. Read speed is satisfactory. Build quality is satisfactory. Price is okay (399) considering the write performance. Scanned the drive with ‘Rufus bad blocks check (2 pass)’ and there were no bad blocks at arrival. Doesn’t get hot, just a bit warm.

I experienced writing speed around 15-16 MBPS even if connected to USB 3.0 Port. I was expecting more.Generally with other pendrives like Moserbaer I had received write speed around 12 MBPS even if it is connected to USB 2.0. And her this kingston pendrive just giving 15-16 MBPS write speed.

Good drive fast and has no data in it preloaded. I know manufacturers like to round off to nearest capacity number but this is too much. Posted snapshot from Windows disk management of a new empty drive for clarity, it has actually only 57.6 GB. So the difference 6.4GB, 10% deviation, its too much. Even the product boldly says 64 GB on the top, which is not ethical. The disk itself is fast and no issues there. I thought the back has a light which will flash whenever its being read or written to, its not, which does not really matter but somehow I like it when they have a light. It helped me many times to detect bad USB ports, unresponsive copy in windows etc.The seller delivered it on the same day in Bangalore, which is really good.

RAVI KUMAR –
USB 3.2 Gen 1 is what Kingston Exodia claims to be.I purchased a 32GB variant but utterly disappointed to see the poor transfer speeds. It’s giving an average write speed of 8-10 Mbps. With these credentials you are left with a good looking but under performing device. In such a scenario Rs.339/- is too high a cost for this product. I would rather suggest SanDisk as a far better option than this.Don’t waste your money if you are looking for fast data tranfers, which I feel is definitely the need of the day.

Got the 32GB USB 3.2 gen 1 variant for 339rs. Gives decent speed on a USB3.0 port. Write speed began around 25mbps and touched 29 for a while and then dropped to an average of 9mbps. Consider the sustained write speed to be 9-10mbps as it fluctuates between 6 and 12 after a few % completed at 25+ mbps.

Over all good product with quality and reasonable price. One thing I found is that it’s width is little bit more than regulare other make pen drives. I wanted to use this pen drive as an internal memory extension in my Nvidia Shield TV Pro. Due to more width, it was interfering with the adjacent HDMI cable, hence pen drive was fitted at an angle. Though it was fitted at an angle, it was working and hence I accepted. So other buyers, keep this in mind, where you have similar configuration.

I bought 3 of these I am happy with purchase. Build quality is very nice and comes with cap which protects from dust. I will be using it as a bootable disk for windows and Linux os. On usb 2 port write speed varies from 8 to 10.5 mbps. Read speed 30 to 60mbps. It touches 100mpbs sometimes. Couldn’t test on usb 3 since my laptop is old one. I am happy with read and write speed and and also with the product.

All brands print the speed on the package, Kingston does too. you can check their other products. For this pen-drive they have omitted that, which should have been the first clue. The actual speed is far less even in USB 3 port. What I’m guessing is they have used the technology of (USB 3.2 Gen 1) but have not actually used the full capability and speed of the protocol and hence the low price.Other customers here think the speed is low since the price is low and that is acceptable. That is not the point, point is Kingston is misleading buyers by advertising the tech that is used but not implementing the speed it brings.Did not expect this from a popular brand. Can’t understand what they were thinking.

It does what is expected. As much as can be expected.Kingston is a known brand now, and performance and quality is a given. The cap posts at the rear of the drive. Miss the lanyards or finger lanyards we used to get with USB sticks, not too long ago. Especially since there is a rather large hole to attach the same in this particular model.

It is a great deal under INR 300.NOTE: it is usb 3.2 gen 1 which is actually a usb 3.0, so don’t expect from it get the speed of usb 3.2 gen 2 (which has real usb 3.2 speeds).Pros: – No overheating. – Decent & Sustained transfer speeds (no fluctuation in speeds). – 5 year warranty.Cons: – speed could be better. Conclusion: – Bang for buck product. Speed could be better.- But the most important thing to be noted is that it sustains its speed while transferring data rather than having fluctuating data transfer speeds.
