Very good processor however., it does not specify whether it is ddr3 or ddr4 (it iOS ddr4) which I found to be a very important flaw because it would not fit my motherboard, however i ordered a ddr4 motherboard and now it works, and it works very well

This skylake part is one of the best bang for the buck processor around. The lower power consumption makes this perfect for a small system where airflow is limited. I used this in fractal design’s node 304 and with Noctua’s L12 cpu cooler. Under full stress, the cpu stayed around 60C.In normal daily use with an SSD installed, windows is perfectly smooth. In terms of gaming performance (I tested using a 980ti), unless the game is intensely reliant on cpu (civilization, wow etc), this processor is only 3-5 frames behind stock 6700k.

Mon ancienne tour Dell Vostro 410 m’ayant lachée après quasi 10 années de services (pâte thermique a coulée partout sur le processeur et carte mère), je me suis tourné vers la solution du pc “home made”.Gamer occasionnel, il me fallait un pc pouvant quand même faire du bureau mais du multimédia (encodage et montages vidéos). Je me suis dirigé vers un quad core et je suis tombé sur ce petit bijou.Alors en combinaison avec une carte mère ASUS Z170 pro gaming compatible technologie SKYLAKE, c’est une tuerie franchement. C’est hyper rapide, fluide etc.Pour la température, j’ai utilisé les ventilos fournis avec le boitier, c’était suffisant (j’en ai rajouté 2 par sécurité) et ça ne dépasse jamais (même en mettant un jeu gourmand comme Alien Isolation; Dragon Age Inquisition en mode ULTRA) les températures moyennes.Maintenant, il s’agit d’une nouvelle technologie de chez Intel. (Skylake date de juillet 2015 si je me souviens bien). A voir si ça vallait la peine avec le temps.Le ventirad est fourni avec (je précise) et est largement suffisant pour maintenant la température de façon optimale.

It’s actually pretty fast. Seriously, don’t knock it just because it isn’t the latest, greatest, bestest. I definitely don’t regret buying this over my usual AMDs. And don’t get me wrong, I like AMD, but honestly, if you’re just looking for something for steady gaming but don’t wanna spend a ridiculous amount, you found it. The stock fan is meh, better than expected, but an aftermarket fan would obviously be better. It is not unlocked, so don’t bother if you’re trying to overclock. I’ve had this for about a year, and I have yet to run into anything wrong with it.

I bought this for my first PC build. Now if you’re anything like me then you will have spent months researching the best parts for your build. After deciding on a budget (and throwing it out the window when I actually bought the parts) I decided that knowing that Kabylake was coming out soon I opted to save money on my first CPU and then empty my bank account on an i7 Kabylake k series chip. That’s why I went for the 6500.This is a very respectable chip and is not something to turn your nose up. It performs well and comes with a cooler which is perfectly acceptable if you’re not overclocking (which you won’t be with this chip).I paired mine with an ASUS z170-A mobo and Gigabyte GTX 1070 GPU for a gaming PC. It has yet to struggle with anything I throw at it, including VR!

Un procesador a un precio accesible y rendimiento excelente, no hablemos de comparacion con un i7, pero si que trabaja de forma ordenada, en mi ciudad hace demasiada calor y debo decir que las temperaturas están entre unos 45 a 55 grados, cuando a lo mucho está a un 45% de carga, pero lo sorprendente que con w10 está casi siempre anda de 15% regularmente y picos más altos solo al cargar programas y una vez listo vuelve a bajar, pero esto ya depende del programa en cuestion.Digo todo esto para que se den una idea del rendimiento y temperaturas para que se hagan una estimación, mi ciudad es Manzanillo y se podrán imaginar el caloron que hace aquí!!Muy satisfecho con la compra!

This processor is definitely worth the purchase! I was a little hesitant about getting this CPU at first. But once it arrived and I got it hooked up it was well worth the purchase. I upgraded from a Pentium G4560 and there was a significant difference in performance. If you’re thinking about upgrading your CPU I would recommend getting this processor. If you pair this CPU with the right GPU it will perform well in the gaming department as well. Overall a phenomenal CPU!

Pour le prix c’est un excellent processeur. Je ne suis pas fan d’Intel mais il faut dire que le prix il fait très bien son travail.L’IPC (instruction per clock) sur 1 Coeur dépasse largement tout processeur AMD actuel. Fourni de 4 coeurs, 8 threads, pour les ordinateur de jeu il est largement suffisant.Couplé à une R9 390 il ne sera jamais le point faible de votre rig pour du jeu. Pour jouer à n’importe quel jeu en 1440p il est largement suffisant.Si maintenant vous êtes un enthousiaste de l’overclocking et des benchmarks extremes, allez chercher plus puissant, mais personnellement je n’en vois pas l’intérêt (pour le jeu en tous cas).Même avec le Ventirad de stock il reste froid (comptez 50C-60C max). Je pense qu’aujourd’hui il s’agit du meilleur rapport qualité/prix pour tout gamer.

Essendo Intel in una botte di ferro vista la scarsa o inesistente competitività di AMD, sforna processori che fanno il loro compitino e questo Skylake lo svolge alla grande. Non è tra i più potenti in commercio, ma ha un basso TDP che gli consente di non scaldare eccessivamente ed operare a temperature veramente buone.Sono passato da un Dual Core ad un quad e per ora mi trovo bene, non è certo una Ferrari ma si va valere. :)La grafica integrata è sufficiente per streaming e per giochi pur con i suoi limiti. Diciamo che in Full HD con filtri al massimo non fate più di una 20ina di FPS con giochi del peso di SimCity. Non avendo altro installato non saprei dire come si comporta con altri tipi di giochi.Affiancherò presto una decente scheda video altrimenti l’è grigia, anzi grigissima! :PPreso a 199€ che mi sembra anche un pelino alto per ciò che offre, ma ci sta dato il cambio generazionale.Lo consiglio a chi come me vuole una onesta CPU che si difende bene in ogni settore.

Grande processore di casa Intel, di grande qualità con turbo boost fino al 3.7 Ghz.Il prodotto si presenta ben imballato e di facile montaggio sulle schede con socket dedicato, peccato la sua ventola di serie sia molto rumorosa, la sconsiglio.Se si acquista questo prodotto è consigliabile valutare una ventola aggiuntiva silenziosa verificandone la sua dimensione per capire se possible inserirla all’interno del case che si ha a disposizione.Per il resto nulla da dire.

Mi ha accompagnato per 2 anni insieme ad una Gtx 1060 per passare ad un i5 8600 e una rtx 2070.Il full HD veniva gestito egregiamente da questo processore, non era male neanche per la produttività. Editing non troppo pesante veniva eseguito senza problemi

Sin duda el i5 es uno de esos procesadores que da mucho por el precio que tiene.Este modelo lo instale en una maquina gamer y junto con la tarjeta grafica hace un muy buen trabajo en juegos a 1080p.Es muy estable y si no tienes tarjeta grafica aun podras correr algunos juegos con buena calidad y a un numero de cuadros por segundo aceptable.La temperatura a la que se mantiene el procesador durante cargas maximas es baja y han logrado bajar aun mas el consumo de energia en esta generacion.Como dato adicional este procesador se lo compre al vendedor PCEL y cumplio muy bien con el tiempo de envio y empaque del producto.Lo recomiendo.

Ich wollte mir für CAD und und Gaming ein PC zusammenstellen. AMD kam nicht in Frage, da ich Veraltete Buldozzer-Prozessoren gar nicht gut finde. Sogar günstigste Intel 4-Kerner kann fast mit AMD 8-Kerner mithalten. Hat genug leistung für ein GTX 960Gebe 4 stern, da der Prozessorkerne unter volllast 70-Grad erreicht, CPU-Temp ist dabei 60 Grad! Das ist zu viel, sogar für stockkühler! Ich betreibe mein PC nicht oft unter Vollast, deswegen werde später ein Kühlerkauf überlegen.

Correct processor. Wrong packaging. Processor was engraved and came stapled in plastic. 5 stars for CPU. 2 stars for seller SURYASYS. Works. Came in a fake Core i3 box (“2 Crores, 4 Threads”) with heatsink and fan. Sticker and documentation not included. But I got the i5-6500 I ordered so it’s okay I guess.

I have been using this processor for around 6 months now in my mini-itx build and I couldn’t be more happy with it. It chews through games and doesn’t slow down even when I turn on my twitch channel at the same time. Sure, serious professional content creators should probably be looking at the higher end, but for someone who wants to run basically any game on the market and do the occasional bit of streaming, I’d highly recommend this. Even after the release of the 7000 series CPUs, the 6500 is still a strong contender (given that not much has really changed in the 7000 series lineup, and the performance difference is hardly worlds apart).If you aren’t looking to overclock or carry out serious high end enthusiast work, then you’ll definitely be pleased with the performance the i5-6500 has to offer.

I thought this processor would be a little faster, and less figity, but I have noticed that when you give it some good true load, it tends to come to a crawl for a few seconds. I have a few different i5’s and i7’s, so I thought this would be the same. My i3 I purchased for a build a month ago seems to run circles around this chip. Maybe I have it configured incorrectly or something, I will read up on it and see how it goes.

La ventola nella confezione… Ossia il dissipatore, che nel caso la temperatura aumenti parecchio rischia di non raffreddare in maniera sufficiente ed efficace… Ma fino a che la temperatura rimane normale non da alcun tipo di problema, anzi!

I received a defective processor. However, to be fair, this is the only defective product I have ever encountered with my experience with Intel. Performs really well for the money. If you’re willing to spend a bit more, I recommend the 6700K instead. But this is no doubt a good processor.

Very impressed with this CPU. I’ve used AMD CPUs for years because I wasn’t a big fan of Intel. However, AMD seem to have lost their way and if you want a decent CPU that performs well and doesn’t contribute to global warming Intel seems to be the way to go. Installed this in a new build and it is running way, way quicker and cooler than my old AMD Phenom X4. The main difference I notice is in image editing where Photoshop Elements opens up in half the time and can make changes to images in real time which it couldn’t before.

HUGE step up from my 7 year old Core i5-750, which is still a fine CPU itself. If you don’t need or want to overclock (the 6500 is a ‘locked’ CPU) and will not be doing hugely CPU intensive activities such as video editing, this is the best CPU for you. Don’t buy into the hype of needing an i7 for gaming, Very few games currently available or on the near horizon utilize the supposed benefits of the i7 over this i5. Put the money you’ll save buying this CPU over an i7 towards a better GPU and/or monitor.

Great processor! This is probably the best price-to-performance ratio processor available on the market right now. It plays right along with other processors just fine and makes an EXCELLENT gaming processor.For those wondering, I have been testing this processor’s onboard graphics (involuntarily, unfortunately, as I’m waiting for my GPU to arrive), and I’m shocked by the gaming performance that I’ve been able to get out of it. here’s a couple games for reference:Black Ops III at 1080p, rendered slightly lower, on medium graphics settings – 38fps avg (not amazing, but most certainly playable)Borderlands 2 at 1080p, high-settings – 48fps or higher.World of Tanks on Medium with HD Texture pack option – 42fps avg. Again, not amazing, but most certainly playable any day of the week.Needless to say, I’m thoroughly impressed with this CPU and in a pinch, it can be used to game on its own if you’re looking to save up after initial purchase for a new GPU later on. I have an older “gaming” ish laptop that has a GT 650m, and this plays games just as well as it does.

Pourtant mon montage était bon (fixations du ventirad en butée et verrouillées)Cela dit c’est un bon rapport puissance/prix, pour pas dire le meilleure du moment. Ce model n’est pas un model k. Son overclocking est donc très limité.

For anyone looking to build or upgrade their processor in a gaming/productivity PC, look no further. The intel i5 6500 is one of my favorite processors in its performance range. When I first installed this processor into my PC it was a breeze. I was pretty astounded at the speed, swiftness, and reliability of this processor. This processor can prove to be more than enough for most of your needs. You need it for gaming? It gets the job done right. Productivity? You got it. This i5 can handle most of any tasks you can throw at it. The price also isn’t bad at all for the performance you’re gonna get. It’s a great all around processor.After a couple years of using pretty heavily it has shown some age, however, nothing major. It sometimes will display a little lag and get slow, however, nothing to hinder performance in gaming or nothing to slow your work day down.

Équipé de 16Go de mémoire ainsi qu’un disque SSD M.2 de 512 Go pour le système. Je suis ravi des performances qui sont plus que satisfaisant pour mon utilisation.

Moved from an A8 6600 GT630 to this I5 6500 and saw only about a 10-15 fps increase. Updated GPU to an RX 470 and wow! The I5 is a great performer and was budget friendly for me, with how games are produced Intel has a current advantage on average over AMD. I’m happy with the CPU but prior to my GPU upgrade the CPU provided little to no major difference in performance compared to the old A8 6600.

I cannot say this is the best you can buy because clearly there are betterBut for basic gaming it works good for me.I run 3 monitors play basic games. Brawlhalla, CS-GO, RunescapeAnd i can run the games flawless no issues. I seriously like it. But i would of liked better but price is king ya know

I’d recommend this over the 6600 since the none k version is more expensive for an extra 0.1GHz, this is more than enough to complement my GTX 1070 and run most games on 1440p ultra 60fps (sometimes effects like hair works can knock it down but I’ve had nothing go below 30FPS with even experimental tech on (hairworks, fluids))My only issue (which is why it loses a star) is that the thermal paste that comes with it doesn’t seem enough for adequate cooling.

Great CPU for gaming! Can handle the loads very well but if you plan on streaming and gaming at the same time I would recommend getting an i7! I can stream and game with some games just fine but when it comes to certain games that hog CPU power like Overwatch you would want to go for the i7 hands down!

Nulla da ridire sul processore, unica pecca il dissipatore kit con cui pensavo di riuscire a sopravvivere per un po’ di mesi in attesa di fondi extra per prendermi qualcosa di decente: impossibile, è incredibilmente rumoroso e allo stesso tempo incredibilmente inefficace. Penso che se mi ci mettessi io a soffiare sopra al processore farei meno rumore e terrei le temperature più basse

Worked great but it wasn’t able to runForza Horizan 3 on my pc with stuttering ran most games in 60-70 % usage. These days clock speeds need to be higher than this. I’d say get 6600k / 7700k at minimum its a big difference due to overclocking or get any Ryzen

I paired this with an intel 7600p m2 ssd for my boot drive and 16gb of 3000Mhz ram. This PC is super fast! I cannot tell a difference from the i5 versus my 9700k i7 in the majority of computing tasks.

パソコンを組むさいにi7だと熱対策でクーラーとケースを熟考しなければいけないがi5だと問題になるほどの熱量がないために色んな面でコストダウンできる、CPUクーラー、PCケース、電源、その他色々、CPUの熱量、消費電力、値段などで考えるなら総合的にはi7よりかなりパフォーマンスが良いのでi5を選択。ハイミドルの中でもかなり上位なPCをローコストで組めるためおすすめである。ちなみに最近のゲームは最新のi5のCPUでもあれば余裕で足りる、どちらかと言うとGPUの方がゲーム的には重要。

Escludendo la parte “cosa mi è piaciuto” (è Intel, che altro devo dire?), passo subito a chi consiglio questa CPU: a chi utilizza il PC per calcoli rapidi, ma non intensivi. Cioè, per essere più chiari: ai videogiocatori.Perché? Se utilizzate il PC solo su internet, Office o comunque programmi che non richiedono tanta potenza, un i3 è più che sufficiente (alle volte è persino troppo).Per chi invece utilizza il PC con programmi molto avidi di potenza, come il rendering video, CAD o elaborazione pura di dati, il top è senz’altro l’ i7.L’i5 invece è un po’una via di mezzo: nè troppo poco, nè troppo potente, tanto diciamoci la verità: i videogiochi sfruttano molto più la GPU che la CPU, quindi un i7 sarebbe solo sprecato per questo utilizzo.Questa è la versione che può arrivare tranquillamente a 3.6MHz, però sinceramente lo sconsiglio se utilizzate il dissipatore di stock. Per andare sul sicuro, meglio una dissipazione più efficace, come quelle di marche Noctua o Corsair

This skylake part is one of the best bang for the buck processor around. The lower power consumption makes this perfect for a small system where airflow is limited. I used this in fractal design’s node 304 and with Noctua’s L12 cpu cooler. Under full stress, the cpu stayed around 60C.In normal daily use with an SSD installed, windows is perfectly smooth. In terms of gaming performance (I tested using a 980ti), unless the game is intensely reliant on cpu (civilization, wow etc), this processor is only 3-5 frames behind stock 6700k.

Bought in conjunction with other components for a build.This is a great CPU, its value for money is probably the best over intel CPUs and is ideal for a sensible gaming build. Installation was easy just slot it into the CPU socket and pop some thermal paste on top with a heat sink.No complaints whatsoever. As long as you’re happy using the Skylake architecture which is still great today, even though the next architecture is out, you will love this CPU/

Un procesador a un precio accesible y rendimiento excelente, no hablemos de comparacion con un i7, pero si que trabaja de forma ordenada, en mi ciudad hace demasiada calor y debo decir que las temperaturas están entre unos 45 a 55 grados, cuando a lo mucho está a un 45% de carga, pero lo sorprendente que con w10 está casi siempre anda de 15% regularmente y picos más altos solo al cargar programas y una vez listo vuelve a bajar, pero esto ya depende del programa en cuestion.Digo todo esto para que se den una idea del rendimiento y temperaturas para que se hagan una estimación, mi ciudad es Manzanillo y se podrán imaginar el caloron que hace aquí!!Muy satisfecho con la compra!

Ho acquistato questo processore per assemblare un PC per i miei genitori.Nonostante sia piuttosto potente per un PC non dedicato al gaming, l’idea era quella di avere un PC che potesse durare un buon numero di anni.Ottima la presenza della scheda video integrata che, sebbene ovviamente insufficiente per i giochi, si presta benissimo alla funzionalità base (browsing, email, Facebook e Netflix).

Je le recommande, c’est un très bon rapport performances/prix.Un peu dommage que le ventilo fasse un peu de bruit mais c’est souvent le cas avec les ventilo de base fourni par la marque. Pour la température, il tourne à 35°C environ avec l’installation de base (sans ajout de pate thermique)

Come on it’s an Intel! I haven’t replaced an Intel processor in FOREVER, they are rock solid. Gamers still swear by AMD but I think Intel has been kickin their tails for the past few years. HOWEVER they cost more, but you get what you pay for.

Ce processeur ce destine aux personnes ne cherchant pas l’overclocking car il ne possède pas la mention K (raison pour Intel de vendre un processeur presque 100€ plus chère) qui veut dire coefficient multiplicateur débloqué ce processeur est bon et une chose est sûre il convient parfaitement à un usage de type jeux vidéo ou autre application relativement lourde c’est pour moi le processeur à avoir si on ne connais pas bien l’overclocking.

This is an all around great CPU I bought this two years ago now and have not run into any issues I’m also using stock fan since this is not a k and not overclackable this is a good investment if you’re looking for a reliable midrange cpu, but with pics like the new ryzen line up it’s kinda outdated for the price right now if you’re going for highest clock speeds and number of cores

ITS A PROCESSOR. IT PROCESSES THINGS. Having trouble deciding what processor you want? The i7 to expensive? well look no further. This might cost money, but who cares, when you can process things way quicker than other lower processors, and only slightly less faster than the i7. seriously this is a good processor and in comparison with the i7 id choose this one (cause im poor and spent all my money building a pc…) i did some benchmark tests between this one an i3 and an i7. there was a 2%-10% difference between the to in the tests i did (for science!) so if you want a processor, id go for this one. if you are looking to over clock, i wouldn’t get this one, but ya can if ya want.

Ho acquistato questo processore quasi un anno fa, e ora posso dire di esserne soddisfatto, e che per l’uso che ne faccio va abbastanza bene. Impostando il Bios per far funzionare anche la scheda grafica integrata (oltre a quella discreta), si possono sfruttare le funzioni di encodingdecoding della GPU integrata (specialmente in x265) rendendo l’operazione di codifica e lettura dei video meno dispendiosa lato GPU. I consumi sono eccellenti.

processeur très performant pour faire de la CAO et du traitement d’image. Il ne consomme vraiment pas beaucoup (la config est à 20W sur la prise 220V au repos). Le ventilateur peut faire cheap au début mais il permet de le refroidir comme il faut. Il tourne à 27°C au repos et peut monter jusqu’à 45°C en burn. En bref du très bon !Attention à la fiche produit qui stipule une fréquence de 3.6GHz. Il ne tourne en réalité qu’à 3.2GHz et à 3.6GHz en mode Turbo avec un seul core sollicité.En bref, du très très bon et je me demande à quoi sert d’acheter plus cher (i7 6700K avec un gros radiateur) alors que celui ci fait déja largement l’affaire.Oubliez l’OC mais en même temps pour ce que ça sert …

Si vous optez pour ce processeur c’est d’une part pour passer au skylake d’autre part c’est pour son prix qui reste honnête pour une nouvelle technologie car par rapport à un processeur Haswell de fréquence équivalente nous sommes ici 10% plus rapide.Ne vous attendez pas à faire décoller votre ordinateur non plus ce processeur n’est pas estampillé K, il n’est donc pas overclockable donc pas vraiment évolutif.En ce moment et pour les jeux du moment combiné à une 970GTX, je peux vous assurer que tout passe en ULTRA sans broncher (Fallout 4), mais si votre objectif est de rester en ULTRA sur les prochaines créations vidéo ludique, je ne suis pas sur qu’il constitue le meilleur investissement à moyen/long terme)Pour l’instant j’ai installé le Ventirad fourni, je monte à 55° en jeu (2h de test) mon boitier est cependant bien aéré sachant que j’ai 3 ventilateurs dans le compartiment contenant la carte mère sans compter celui du processeur et de la carte graphique.Le bruit de celui ci dans un bon boitier et si vous ne collez pas vos oreilles aux parois n’est pas vraiment dérangeant.

Linux Mint 18.1 With Samsung M.2 960 Evo SSD. Asrock Z170M Extreme4 motherboard. No problems installing with default live UEFI session and either default Ext4 files system or BTRFS (set up 512Mb FAT32 flagged for boot/esp with Gparted.) Had to use newest version of Clonezilla to make a system image. Only problem was HDD Activity light flashing way excessively while surfing internet. I did research including calling Asrock and Samsung. Neither had heard of this. I tried it with Window 10 Home and had same behavior with Edge browser. I RMA everything. A mystery.

I ran the system from an MSI Z170A Gaming M5 motherboard, with all tests run from a 512GB Crucial MX100 SSD. I bought extreme DDR4 ram, that came in the form of two 4GB sticks of Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4, rated for 3000MHz. Curiously, using the XMP profile for these sticks applied a mild two per cent CPU overclock, so i overrode that and increased the RAM multiplier instead, giving me 3066MHz. Overvolting the RAM to 1.35v allowed us to go further, easily hitting a stable 3200MHz. These new modules allowed me to test a whole spectrum of DDR4 frequencies and to get an idea of how faster RAM impacts gaming performance on this i5 quad.Definitely i was impressed with the performance that every part of the cpu got tuned to one another.This 6th generation skylake processor is a remarkable option to bulid a mid mid range gamming pc or even for heavy gpu tasks . Designed to handle good range of extreme temperatures, highj clockspeeds with turbo boost technology, its a good choice for overclocking .Its true that its not for a budget pc, but for die hard gammers who don’t want to squeeze their pockets for investing, its perfect for them.

I’ve went for the i5 6500 skylake for my first gaming build and I must say that with the Corsair H55 watercooling this is a pair match in heaven. The processor is stuck between 25-27(idle) and 50 (intense use) and hasn’t throttled once. If you’re not doing any heavy graphics, rendering or other heavy processing then this is for you. Extremely fast CPU. I went for the i5 skylake as its all I could afford. I felt the i5 and i7k’s were very expensive.Easily installs into my motherboard as long as care is taken not to bend the CPU pins. The heatsink and fan comes with thermal paste already applied. It simply is a push down and click installation process. The fan is noisy on initial boot up but runs extremely quite and very cool after that. I haven’t put it under extreme loads yet but I am well impressed with this for the price.

Good enough for gaming. You don’t need an i7 to game.If you aren’t getting a Z170/Z270/X99 motherboard and the most you are doing is gaming – this is as high as you should go. If you do video editing or any CPU intensive tasks get an i7.If you want to overclock – get the k-series i5.Kaby Lake update : Kaby Lake CPUs don’t seem to have that much of an improvement (gaming-wise) and command a price premium. If prices do come down – get a Kaby Lake i5.

Para aquellos que no tengan el presupuesto para un i7, este i5 es una muy buena opcion, mas que suficiente para el software actual si no te dedicas a realizar renderizados o diseños en CAD bastantes pesados que consumen mucho CPU, su reloj base es de 3.2 Ghz y con turbo Boost de 3.6 el cual es automático, con videos a 2K no tiene ningun problema en procesarlos, temperaturas muy buenas con disipador de stock ( máximas alcanzadas con temperatura ambiente de 36º han sido 40º cuando mucho ), para aquellos que se quieran armar un equipo gaming, el procesador es mas que suficiente puesto que el trabajo real se lo lleva la tarjeta de video y el procesador solamente se encarga de las fisicas del juego, por lo que este es buena opcion si quieres un equipo para trabajo de oficia, desarrollo y juegos ocasionales. cabe aclarar que al ser 6ª generación, es posible utilizarlo con windows 7 sin problemas, ya que la 7ª generación de este ya no soporta este sistema operativo y solamente podrían trabajar con windows 8.1 en adelante, así que si eres uno de los que prefiere windows 7o tener la posibilidad de algun dia usarlo esta es la mejor opción.

Me gusta mucho. Procesador de ultima generación a precio razonable. Viene con un disipador con pasta térmica incorporada, yo es lo que estoy usando y la temperatura, según speccy, no supera los 45º cuando lo uso para editar fotografías que es el uso mas exigente que le voy a dar ya que no suelo jugar en el ordenador.Lo tengo montado en una placa con chipset z170 y trae un montón de parámetros con figurables para poder hacer overclocking a pesar de no ser tipo K.No pongo 5 estrellas al producto por que intel no le ha incluido Hyper Threading.Ventajas: Acepta memorias ddr4, no se calienta en esceso, skylake…Desventajas: No soporta Hyper Threading.

My mind is blown. Bought this cpu for gaming (Arma 3, Squad) and couldn’t be happier. My old CPU was an AMD, struggled to run these games at 30fps, and I could hear the fan on the other side of my room. I can’t hear this thing sitting a foot away from it and my fps has shot up to a steady near 60 for Arma and 80+ for Squad. Beautiful. If you’re thinking of switching from AMD and on a budget, this is the way to go.

This cpu is awesome, I use this for my gaming setup and while it’s not the best in the market, for it’s price point this purchase was the best for me.This product works flawlessly, it’s very fast and realiable, I game with this and it seems to work fine even under the stress of the newest games at 4k, It’s never failed my gaming or general browsing needs. If you’re on a budget and need a good cpu, I recommend this one.

Installed the processor in a Shuttle XH170V which uses a mini-ITX form factor and the intel H170 chipset. The processor is cooled using just a heat sink since there is no room for a fan. I ran a burn-in test for 24 hours without any errors. The processor temperature never got above 60c. Very pleased with the purchase.

Fast. Fast. Fast. I didn’t want to overclock and didn’t see the need for hyper-threading so this I5-6500 seemed to be the best there is for the money. (The I5-6600 is perhaps 3% faster but the $20 increase in cost isn’t worth it IMO). Anyway, this processor has scorching speed at very low power usage. I ran a benchmark and it placed this processor in the 94th percentile which is super considering that most of the comparables were from gamers benchmarking their gaming rigs. I am using the Intel supplied heat sink and fan and it doesn’t seem to need anything more. This is truly the sweet spot for CPU performance/cost/power consumption. I am betting that this processor will last me for the next 5 to 7 years. Sorry Intel.

動画エンコードやゲームなどしない私の普段使いPCに金額的にもピッタリでした。Corei7だと私の場合はオーバースペックでしょうし、Corei5で十分でした。コストや性能面はもちろん、安定して使用出来ているので満足しています。中古商品を購入したのですが、出品者コメントには、「商品の状態は大きな傷や汚れは御座いません。保管に伴う傷等はある場合がございます。」と記載されており、中古商品なので多少は甘く判断して購入しました。実際の現物ですが、CPUを押さえるカバーで付いたであろう傷跡と、CPUグリスが縁にかなり残って汚れていました。どういう基準で商品を確認してコメントされているかが疑問でしたね。ただ、商品性能面はコストパフォーマンス抜群なCPUでしたので購入して良かったですね。

I have an i5 / 3570K in another gaming PC and was just going to get the 4760K version since it can be overclocked too. BUT…I realized the 3570K I only overclocked it one (it was really snappy) but most of the time it was at the stock Hz. I decided to save the cash and opt for the i5 / 6500 instead and I’m happy I did. This one is snappy enough and edit video, music, etc. It gets the job done.

Games run well, videos render quickly and it all seems to work fine. The stock cooler is a bit naff so I need to replace this. But all in all it is good. I haven’t found a game yet which has challenged it but I haven’t really been playing new games recently so we’ll have to see what happens.

Extremely fast CPU. I went for the i5 skylake as its all I could afford. I felt the i5 and i7k’s were very expensive.Easily installs into my motherboard as long as care is taken not to bend the CPU pins. The heatsink and fan comes with thermal paste already applied. It simply is a push down and click installation process. The fan is noisy on initial boot up but runs extremely quite and very cool after that. I haven’t put it under extreme loads yet but I am well impressed with this for the price.

Cosa dire di questo magnifico processore? Eccellente! Velocissimo nel calcolo. Essendo la generazione precedente a quello di quest anno deve essere montato su una scheda adatta (quindi attenzione ai seriali) non differisce quasi di monete con il successivo processore. Qualità prezzo ottimi! Lo consiglio a chi deve fare come me ritocco fotografico o video maker. Anche per gaming è ottimo in quanto la potenza di calcolo è ottima. Infine sono contenta perché non sprecare molta energia benché sia potente e per chi non vuole acquistare subito una scheda video l integrata è molto buona.

Ok I was a little surprised by this CPU. I had to use integrated graphics for a little while and it performed really well. Aside from the great processing power, I mostly want to talk about the integrated graphics. If you are trying to play League of Legends (70 fps max graphics) or CSGO (playable fps) then this works just fine. I was even able to play Fallout 4 on low graphics, which still was awesome since that game is so demanding for graphics processing power. Best bang for your buck overall.

Installed this into an ASUS Z170M PLUS motherboard. The supplied fan location locks are a little frustrating for a first time PC builder, so a little care and patience are needed to get those down properly. It fired up first time and found everything that it should have via the BIOS/UEFI – it runs nice and cool for the most part – I have not installed any games yet but it doesn’t break sweat when tasked with 1080p Full HD resolution video playback. I feel its a good choice CPU/GPU for a mid-range PC with decent grunt for most things. I have tried a few virtual machines running on the host OS and that has been without problems as well. Very happy with this choice.

not sure what to think about this skylake i5. ran a bench mark test on it and compared it to a haswel i5. it ranked lower not by much but enough to feel like I should have saved my money for a K version. I upgraded from a skylake g4400 to this i5 and it didn’t do much to see a big difference. I guess it has its advantage being a quad core and not dual core but gaming didn’t see it for me.

The title says most of it. It’s a good chip if you’re not running anything super demanding like content development. It will do it reliably, but it’s a bit slow. Probably good for teaching kids patience. It’s getting outdated though, because it doesn’t run AVX instructions… in lamens if you try to play Cyberpunk 2077 with it, it will crash your video drivers. It’s likely AVX instructions will be used in software more and more so this chip might be useless in a few years…. assuming loads of programmers have shifty coding practices like CD Project Red. Many programs have workarounds, so there is hope for this chip yet.Badly optimized games aside, it will play most games flawlesy. I played portal without a GPU and it was brilliant. Paired with the good old NVidia GTX1080 I play Mortal Kombat 10/11 with the graphics maxed out no problem. Provided the game is optimized well it will play nicely… might need to lower the graphics though.

I bought this CPU for my first PC build I am very thrilled. I bought this CPU for its capabilities. Moving on, CPU is well- protected and the fan is protected and tightly packed in the small Intel box.The CPU has a triangle on it that you match up with the array on the motherboard which is nice for a first timer like myself. Moreover, than cooler has seemingly flimsy or odd clips that hold it to the motherboard, but they are solidly planted once it snaps and rotates into the holes of the motherboard. Again, a nice stock cooler in my opinion (of limited knowledge) even though almost all featured PC builds cram buying an after market cooler down your throat. The cooler is fine for what it is, a stock cooler that comes with thermal paste and is designed by Intel for Intel.Lastly, at idle the temperature is a consistent 29 degrees Celsius. This CPU easily handles 3D builder, Auto CAD, other modeling programs, and gaming titles such as Skyrim, Dishonored, Fallout, CS GO, GTA IV are all getting very high frame rates in highest settings in coordination with my MSI GTX 960 4GB OC.

The Intel Core i5-6500 is the perfect cpu when building a mid-value PC for gaming.There are several benchmarks out there that will tell you the exact performance but all you really need to know is that an i5 form intel will perform on par with almost any i7 in about 99% of games.There is no need to spend more money for a gaming PC.Note: Make sure you get an intel H170, H110 or B150 motherboard for this. No need to spend extra for Z170 as the i5-6500 is not overclockable and z-motherboards have that as their main buy-fort-this feature.

Intel Core i5-6500 3.2 riesce a sostituire benissimo per un pc con poche esigenze grafiche GTA V con circa 30-45 FPS in risoluzione di 1280 x 720 con dettagli minimi.L’ho testato sotto Ubuntu Linux e finora questo processore con grafica HD 530 funzionaa bene e offre convincenti prestazioni della CPU rispetto al vecchio hardware Intel, nonché la concorrenza APU / CPU di AMD.è un processore quad-core (senza Hyper Threading), che ha una velocità di clock di 3,2 GHz, mentre il turbo arriva a 3.6GHz ,mai raggiunta perchè onestamente uso il pc tranquillamente con After Effects e Adobe Premiere Pro. Ho testato e funziona bene il supporto 4K a 60Hz via DisplayPort, e questo core grafico Skylake può supportare fino a OpenGL 4.4.Nella confezione è presente anche una ventola con dissipatore e pasta termica che si applica automaticamente una volta installato l’accessorio sulla scheda insieme al processore. Ad uso normale arriva scalda tra i 37° e i 40°, ad uso intenso sono riuscito ad arrivare fino a 55°Conclusione: ottimo processore, molto potente, prezzo non eccessivo, veramente versatile.5/5

Molto prestante ed il migliore qualità prezzo, non ha senso prenderne uno superiore. l’unica pecca è il dissipatore che fa abbastanza schifo ed è lo stesso da sempre, prima di questa configurazione avevo un e2180 (2007) e aveva praticamente lo stesso dissipatore, cambiava solo la posizione di alcune alette. Consiglio quindi un dissipatore migliore.

Great all round processor, nice clock speed and, now, great overclockablility. With the new bios update for some motherboards (ASUS ASRock) overclocking has become much more affordable to enthusiasts. I get a nice 4GHz on this when it is overclocked and it stays steady. Comes with a decent heatsink, but for major overclocks I recommend an aftermarket cooler, perhaps some sort of Be Quiet or the Coolermaster 212 EVO.4/5 because of sub-par heatsink

Migliore CPU, rapportata a qualità/prezzo. Leggermente inferiore (solo 100 mhz) alla sua sorella superiore (i5-6600) di cui costa anche circa 40,00 euro in meno e nettamente superiore (500 Mhz) alla sorella minore (i5-6400) per soli 20,00 circa in più. Accoppiata ad una MSI GTX 960 GAMING 4G nei giochi non supera mai il 40% del suo carico lavoro producendo pochissimo calore e riservandomi potenza in futuro per eventuale cambio GPU. Provengo da una lunga serie di CPU AMD, dovendo rifare il PC e in cerca di miglioramenti ho voluto cambiare, non conosco bene i precedenti Intel, ma con questa CPU AMD, rispetto ad Intel, è indietro anni luce ! reattività, produzione di calore e potenza di calcolo non hanno eguali rispetto alla diretta concorrente nonostante AMD usi frequenze maggiori e 8 core (con TDP a 160 Mhz e conseguente produzione immensa di calore che comporta l’uso obbligatorio di dissipatore a liquido) non riesce a raggiungere la fluidità di questa CPU. Di superiore c’è l’i7-7xxx ma serve più che altro per il video-editing, per il gaming se non siete interessati all’OC questa, secondo me, è la migliore CPU.

Beh un intel e’ intel, e per ora di meglio sul mercato non c’e, questo e’ buon processore per chi deve farsi un pc ora.L unica pecca che mi fa scendere da 5 a 4 stelle e’ la memoria della gpu integrata.In se per se, la scheda video integrata e’ buona, pero’ la poca memoria causa alcuni lag in gioco, per il resto , navigare e altro e’ sufficiente.Aumentare la memoria ad almeno 256 mb, non sarebbe una pessima idea

Ho aspettato che uscissero i processori skylake e sono rimasto davvero soddisfatto di questo processore che, tra le altre cose, ho pure preso al prezzo più basso da quando è in vendita. Gira bene e non scalda praticamente nulla. Non avendo ancora la scheda video lo uso anche per giocare (con molti compromessi ovviamente) e le temperature sono sempre sotto i 40 gradi anche con carichi di lavoro abbastanza elevati. Una stella in meno per colpa del dissipatore che fa il suo lavoro ma si sente un leggerissimo ticchettio, quasi impercettibile ma c’è.

This is a smashing cpu cannot fault it is truly a powerful piece of kit for today’s generationit is clocked at 3.2ghz and does 3.6ghz on a single core with turbo boost enabled. also it saves on power.this chip will do for a good number of years before upgradingremember this is locked so if you are wanting to overclock this you have to get a bios for your motherboard to a overclocked version to do some overclocking.

Secondo me è il processore migliore tra il 6400 e il 6600 (non K). Tra il 6500 e il 6600 cambia davvero pochissimo, quindi lo consiglio a tutti coloro che hanno una configurazione di fascia media/medio-alta.Supporta ram ddr4 fino ad un massimo di 64 GB.Le temperature sono molto basse: sui 30° sotto carico di lavoro basso, ma intorno ai 70° sotto stress. Consiglio quindi di cambiare dissipatore, quello già presente nella confezione fà il suo lavoro ma non è abbastanza. Allego le foto dei test fatti da me.Consuma pochissimo (massimo 65W)… Non lo consiglio per l’editing, in quanto va bene solo per uso generico e per il gaming (accoppiato a schede di fascia media/medio-alta, se si installa una scheda video molto potente il processore farà “collo di bottiglia” non sfruttando quindi a pieno le prestazioni della scheda video stessa).

Quick and efficient
Correct processor. Wrong packaging. Processor was engraved and came stapled in plastic. 5 stars for CPU. 2 stars for seller SURYASYS. Works. Came in a fake Core i3 box (“2 Crores, 4 Threads”) with heatsink and fan. Sticker and documentation not included. But I got the i5-6500 I ordered so it’s okay I guess.

Good enough for gaming. You don’t need an i7 to game.If you aren’t getting a Z170/Z270/X99 motherboard and the most you are doing is gaming – this is as high as you should go. If you do video editing or any CPU intensive tasks get an i7.If you want to overclock – get the k-series i5.Kaby Lake update : Kaby Lake CPUs don’t seem to have that much of an improvement (gaming-wise) and command a price premium. If prices do come down – get a Kaby Lake i5.

Gekühlt wird der Intel von einen be quiet! Dark Rock Advanced C1 der passt mit den Montagehalterungen perfekt auf Sockel 1151.#Update#so nach einem guten halben Jahr kann ich sagen das der Kauf sich absolut bezahlt gemacht hat.Aktuell fällt mir jedoch auf das ich in GTA5 und Tom Clancy’s The Division bei 80%-90% Auslastung rein vom game her . Auf 100% Auslastung komm ich wenn die beiden Games mit den ganzen Prozessen im Hintergrund laufen laste ich die CPU zu 100% aus .In Verbund mit einer MSI RX480 in Ultra Einstellungen.Die anderen Games die ich zocke, bin ich bei 40%-50% CPU Auslastung (WoW Fallout4 HdRO)#Update2 12.6.17#So nach nun gut einen halben Jahr kann ich sagen das der Prozessor sich immer noch gut schlägt.Aktuell spiele ich Ark und liege dabei mit einer Auslastung bei 50-70% was ein guter Wert ist und dazu eine Temperatur habe von knapp 50 Grad Celsius in Verbindung mit einem BeQiuet Dark Rock AdvanceC1Jedoch wenn ich dazu mit OBS aufnehmen komme ich konstant auf 98% Auslastung der CPU.

I am a gaming coming from AMD, I got tired of how my games ran so I finally bought a new system.I chose this CPU after seeing reviews and videos of how well it performs, and honestly this is the best CPU by price performance on the market.This CPU runs anything I throw at it 60FPS 1080P with my Asus Strix GTX 970 on high or ultra settings. I am using the stock cooler; and it runs very quiet. Probably the most quiet I have ever heard a stock CPU cooler run. I am using a ITX board and paired this with 16gb of ram and it’s a monster. The Witcher 3 and Rise of the Tomb Raider on high run fantastic with this CPU, non stop 60 FPS.I have no complaints about it at all. For $200 this was a very solid deal, you maybe able to get it when it’s $190 or less and that’s a steal. This CPU is utterly fantastic.

I’m assuming it’s great. The inexpensive motherboard failed, but I’ve got a better one on the way now. I foolishly ordered the motherboard before the CPU, so wasn’t able to test it within the 30 day period after ordering. The problem was that the CPU is so expensive I could only purchase it by itself. I should have assumed that the CPU was solid and waited on the purchase of the motherboard for a more timely handling of the computer build and testing. Having to buy computer parts a little at a time, doesn’t always work out so well and I didn’t want to have to break it up into three separate orders, but of course that’s exactly the way it’s working out anyway. I pay as I go, which doesn’t do much for my credit rating and high interest credit cards are not a viable choice either. I just need to rebuild my old desktop from 2007 and gradually get it into another case as possible. The motherboard that’s coming, will handle an upgrade to an i7 6700k, down the road, so that’s encouraging at least. Mean time this i5 6500 will do just fine I’m sure.

It has good HD graphics which enables to play mid range games without graphics card .. good for it ..

i needed to update from a pentium processor i was using on a ethryum mining rig i built, back to a gaming rig for 2nd computer, this runs better than the 2500k i was using.

I installed this in an aging HTPC that I use as my main entertainment hub as well as play a few video games and edit pictures in Lightroom. This is pretty much my main computer. It replaced an AMD 9750 that always ran super hot and was a dog. I got tired of trying to keep that thing cool so I was sold on the low TDP of this chip which I didn’t need to overclock and the newest architecture. I hooked this up with an MSI gaming 3 motherboard and 16GB of Corsair 3200Mhz memory. The system is like night and day. It runs super cool with the stock cooler in my HTPC case. I ran Prime95 for awhile and it topped out around 60C. I have not done any gaming yet but I can run every program I could find, VLC video, youtube, Plex, virus scan, tons of chrome browser tabs open…etc all at the same time with no problems. I’m interested to see how Lightroom does as it is a pretty CPU intensive program. I’m happy.

This worked great with my 1050Ti but since I’ve upgraded to a 1070 I’ve experienced some bottlenecks ib games such as Fortnite and then high CPU usage in most other games. A good CPU but I would recommend moving to AMD instead of buying this processor.
