For the price you cannot shake your head at this CPU. Offers great performance in older games when matched with a GTX 950, runs very cool, the stock CPU fan looks undersized but it does a great job of keeping up and with the case open next to me I haven’t heard the fan yet. I’m hoping someday to upgrade my system to an i7, but this chip is doing everything I need it to do right now.

This processor is actually faster than a mid range 4th gen i5, it’s perfect for a budget gaming build. I use it to extract over 60fps from games running at 1080p to my HDTV when paired with an Nvidia 970. Should work nicely for the next few years.

Rendimiento excelente, y encima es un procesador muy fresco. Con un TDP de 50 y pocos wattios, en un uso normal apenas se calienta a 40 y algo grados con un ventilador mínimamente decente. En mi caso, le he puesto un disipador de velocidad variable en función de la temperatura, y en las semanas que hace que lo tengo no ha pasado de las revoluciones mínimas, por lo que queda un equipo muy silencioso.Excelente compra.

I gotta say, I didn’t think a $120ish i3 would impress me. I got it because I wanted to build a computer without breaking the bank, and reviews were kind to this little chip. Well, for like 95% of purposes, it not only does the job, but it does it WELL. Once I got my system built, I decided to stress-test it by doing things like video encoding, moving files, Excel calculations from last year’s Quant class (at my college, quantitative chemical analysis is a very Excel-heavy course) and some gaming. Well, obviously with more highly threaded tasks, you’re going to get more performance out of four physical cores (like an i5) and even more out of four physical cores with hyper-threading (like an i7), and it did reach mid 90’s in terms of CPU utilization during the video encoding task. That said, the stock fan still managed to keep it cool during that task, which is nice. With everything else, it felt very quick- at no point did it feel like I was experiencing slowdown or anything. The only time it started to slow down a bit was when I was multitasking, with several downloads running simultaneously, plus moving files between drives and streaming music via Spotify. And surprisingly, it could run older games very well, even running newer games at low settings, but 1080p and playable framerates. But if you want to enable more graphical bells and whistles, my recommendation would be to get a discrete GPU, as the integrated graphics are respectable in comparison to older generations of Intel IGPs, but nothing special at all in the overall scheme of things.

Purchased this to build a streaming(4K) rig with 8 gigs of RAM. Well while this is a good CPU should have purchased the I5 6600 . Have a build with the I5 , 8 gigs of RAM and it chews thru 4K MUCH better. So for video spend the extra $80 approx for a better experience.

I bought this for a small rig I made and so far its handled all games and programs very well. At first i thought it wouldn’t be enough to run the latest games but so far its been able to keep up. Its installed on an MSI B150M gaming pro mobo with an asus 960 strix gpu with kingston hyperx fury ddr4 ram. I have it water cooled with a corsair h55. It makes for a small gaming rig but it handles all my needs very well.

Nothing to complain about with this baby.Super fast, cheap, and paired with my GPU card can handle all the games I play so far, mostly world of warships maxed out( didn’t know the mountains had trees on them :)It is an awesome and cheap CPU.Figure out your needs and budget, for casual gamers and everyday use( besides art design, Photoshop etc), anything other than this would be overkill. and for the price, and being Intel, you can`t complain.

Just built a PC with the i3 6100 processor. Since I had 24 Gbs of DDR3 RAM my initial finding was that I could not use these with new Gen6 Intel processors. However, there are motherboards which do support Intel 6th gen processor with DDR3 RAM.Right now I’ve got this processor working fine with Asus B150M-Plus D3 motherboard. The speed is blazing fast compared to what I upgraded from which is a Phenom X3 processor with 8 Gb RAM.The built in graphics processor is fine, I can play Street Fighter 4 with almost all settings ON with zero lag. This was not the case with the Phenom X3 processor.The performance observed when converting RAW files to Adobe DNG was also pretty fast, faster than anything I’ve seen including mobile Core i7 processors on Dell 7000 laptop.I have yet to test running virtual machines which is something I want to use my PC for.Based on the first few days of usage I totally recommend this processor to anyone looking for a powerful home PC for medium gaming, programming and graphic use.

This is one of the best, if not the best, value gaming CPUs. It kicks ass in most or all games and I notice no frame drops/bottlenecking unless the CPU is being stressed to 100% constantly (which is SUPER rare). I can even do some video editing in Adobe Premiere Pro CC without any noticeable hiccups (EDIT: Although render times will obviously suffer a lot). Best thing is that if you want to upgrade, this gives you a solid upgrade path to the (hopefully compatible with Z170 chipsets) upcoming Intel 7th Gen (Kaby Lake) processors and if not, the current Skylake platform to an i7-6700k.EDIT: I forgot to mention that this CPU is overclockable on certain Z170 mobos via the BCLK (base clock), providing even more value and performance! You may have to downgrade the UEFI in order to tinker with the BCLK.

Awesome Processor for a good price. i just put this in my new build last week and it is perfect for small editing and any game iv throwen at it well over 60fps at 1050p with my xfx 2gb dual dissipation gpu and msi h110m gaming motherboard . If your going for a decent buget build that you want the most out of it id recommend this cpu. if you want more of a editing rig id step it up to a i5 6500 or i5 6600k . id say any more then that is a little over kill . but overkill is good too ;P

Processore con nuova architettura Intel Skylake.3,7 Ghz di frequenza di clock, due core fisici e due virtuali grazie alla tecnologia hyper threading che lo rende ottimo anche per gaming. I giochi girano tutti molto fluidi e con buoni fps se abbinato a una buona scheda video. In conclusione non fa rimpiangere i fratelli maggiori i5, se avete un budget ridotto o volete investire in altri componenti è un acquisto vincente anche per pc da gioco.

Bought for my first PC build recently. Paired it with a GTX 950, 250GB SSD, and 8GB of RAM. It works pretty well. For general Windows tasks, it multitasks without any issues. For gaming, it gets a pretty good framerate on Fallout 4 at high settings. Also, don’t waste money on an aftermarket CPU cooler or fancy thermal paste for this processor. The stock heatsink (which has thermal paste preapplied) and fan keeps it at the 30-40 degree level without issue, and is quiet enough for my tastes.

dovendo assemblare un PC Desktop ho fatto qualche ricerca sul tipo di processore da installare (il socket doveva essere LGA1151 per poter effettuare un futuro upgrade senza dover cambiare tutto).Alla fine ho optato per un Core I3 SkyLake associato ad una mobo con chip Z270 che supporta nativamente KabyLake. In sostanza funziona bene, scalda poco, consuma poco e costa poco. Se quello che fate e’ navigare su internet, guardare video su youtube, film e usare office questa CPU va benissimo. Per Giocare può’ andare bene anche se e’ meglio orientarsi su un Core I5.

Se cercate una cpu che non costi molto, questa è quella che fa per voi. Con questo processore riesco a far girare quasi tutti i giochi che richiedono un i5 senza troppi problemi. Ovviamente se potete spendere di più puntate su un i5 così potete abbinare una scheda grafica abbastanza performante, dato che su un i3 non potete spingervi troppo oltre senza incorrere in colli di bottiglia.

If you’re on a tight budget but still want to play your games, then this is the CPU for you.Due to Intels’ hyper-threading, this i3 is treated as if it has four cores instead of just two. However, I still suggest getting an i5 if you can fit it into your budget.But if you can’t, no worries, the i3-6100 is a powerful champ. And you can always upgrade to a better cpu later if you want.

Der i3 ist ein echter Spitzenreiter in der Unterklasse. Ich habe mir den i3 für meinen Gaming PC gekauft… Jetzt würde sich jeder denken: „Ein i3 und Gaming!?”Ja mit diesem Prozessor hat man einen recht günstigen Prozessor, der für alle (außer CPU-lastige Spiele, also welchen in denen SEHR viele Spieler auf einem Fleck sind) Spiele ausreicht.Wenn man ein niedriges Budget hat, aber trotzdem auf aktuelle Hardware setzt, ist dieser Prozessor der richtige. Der niedrige Energieverbrauch macht den Prozessor auch interessant.Wenn man sich auskennt, kann man den Prozessor mit einem Z170 Mainboard, welches die Übertaktung von non-k Prozessoren noch unterstützt, z.T. bis auf 4,2ghz mit dem Boxed Kühler übertakten und das ohne Spannungserhöhung.Alles in einem finde ich, dass dieser Prozessor seinem Preis angemessen ist, da der i3 viel bietet auch wenn er nur 2 Kerne hat, seine 4 Threads ihn mit Hyperthreading zu einem theoretischen 4 Kerner machen.

J’ai une config a 650 euros environ avec une R9 380. Le processeur ne chauffe presque pas, est performant et tient bien. Je n’ai pas ajouté de ventirad pour l’instant en gardant une température de 40 en moyenne (ça monte un peu en jeu après un moment quand même).Sinon que dire, j’ai pas le moindre soucis, onglets ouverts en masse, jeux.. je n’utilise pas de gros logiciels. La R9 380 qui l’accompagne ne semble pas bridée, tout tourne en ultra (ça chauffe un peu par contre du coup sans le ventirad, du coup j’laisse en high pour garder une température plus correcte, mais là je m’éloigne en parlant de la carte graphique) :pBon bin voila, j’allais prendre un i5 6500 mais ce i3 suffit largement pour ce que je fais!

Habe mich bewusst für einen I3 entschieden auch wenn es nur ein 2 Kerner (Virtueller 4 Kerner). Ich mache zurzeit eine Ausbildung und da ist das Geld einfach nicht so reich vorhanden. Ich habe diesen I3 mit einer Radeon RX 460 zusammen am laufen und bin begeistert. Hatte vorher einen FX 8320 und zusammen mit dieser Grafikkarte bekam ich gerade so 40 bis max 60 Fps in GTA V. Mit dem I3 und gleicher Grafikkarte schaffe ich schon min 60 bis max 80 Fps in GTA V. Der kleine hat echt Power und ich kann ihm jeden empfehlen, der nicht so viel Geld hat oder ausgeben möchte und trotzdem gut spielen will. Das ist ein echter geheim Tipp in Sachen CPU. Einfach spitze und an alle die sagen, zum zocken muss man einen I5 haben der locker mal 80 bis 120 Euro mehr kostet, ohne mich! ;D Ich bin super zufrieden und bereue den Kauf nicht.Habe mit dazu noch das Mainboard Msi H110M und 2 x 4gb DDR4 gekauft. Konnte alles sogar ohne Windows Neuinstallation tauschen.

Nice step into a Skylake setup that can be upgraded. I paired this with 16 GB or ram, M.2 drive and a Gigabyte Z170 mini ITX board so when and if I need to drop in a Skylake 6600 I can. I plan on purchasing a GTX 1070 in June too. This chip offers the best price to performance that I could find and still get good enough on board graphics to hold me over until the 1070 is out.

My last processor was a sandy bridge core i7. So far this seems just as good. I know all of the benchmarks show the sandy bridge i7 being faster but I don’t notice any difference for day to day activities. The ipgu hd 530 especially surprised me. PC gaming is so cheap these days. You don’t need a $1000 dollar build to enjoy the newest titles anymore. I bought one of these budget CPUs for my brother’s rig and he can play anything he wants with high settings. You can put together a pc with one of these plus a gtx 950 for $500 (minus OS) and get great results. (I used a hand-me-down r9 280 in his build).

Per l’aggiornamento del mio pc, che uso per navigazione, file sharing e riproduzione video ho deciso per questo processore e poi di conseguenza tutto il resto. Dalle prime impressioni non ho di che lamentarmi: veloce e potente, prezzo adeguato. Direi che per un uso medio di un pc casalingo sia più che sufficiente per ogni applicativo o programma che si voglia utilizzare. Accoppiato ad una buona scheda video e ram in giuste quanittà anche i giochi non sono un problema.

Betreibe den Prozessor auf einem Asus H110 Board in einem Office und Multimedia PC. Er läuft absolut stabil und ist im Betrieb mit einer Samsung 830 Pro sehr schnell. Für anspruchsvollere Anwendungen und Spiele ist er sicherlich nicht schnell genug, reicht aber für Office, Multimedia und das ein oder andere Spielchen locker aus. Sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

Ich habe mir diese CPU zunächst mit etwas Bauchschmerzen gekauft da ich Gerne und viel Zocke und es eben nur ein 2 Kerner ist. Vorher hatte ich einen FX 6100 von AMD der sich leider mitsamt Mainboard in die Ewigen Bitgründe verabschiedet hat.Bisher habe ich jedoch keine Probleme bei World of Tanks, World oft Warships, GTA V und The Witcher 3 feststellen können alles läuft mit hohen Einstellungen bei Akzeptablen Framerates.Als Grafikkarte verwende ich eine HD 7870 mit 2GB DDR5 und als RAM 8GB DDR 4.Ich bin Angenehm von dem Zwerg aus der Core i Reihe überrascht. Wer wie ich gerade etwas knapp in der Kasse ist kann hier absolut zugreifen für alle anderen Gamer ist der i5 6600 wohl die bessere Wahl (werde ihn mir auch irgendwann zulegen). Als Einstieg oder Umstieg zu Intel auf jeden Fall Topp

Davvero un buon processore. è meno potente del i5 e del i7, pero devo dire che basta per momento, a parte se uno deve fare dei calcoli molto pesanti, tipo animazione 3d o altro… comunque, anche il processore grafico incorporato è potentissimo e mi sono sorpreso giocando ad alcuni titoli di 2012-2016 in altissima qualità aspettando che mi arrivi il GPU che ho ordinato, MSI Radeon RX 480 8gb… veramente un incredibile rapporto qualità prezzo. poi, ovviamente, per quello che ha soldi, i7 unlocked argento è la scelta migliore. Invece tra i3 e i5 la differenza non è cosi ovvia, quindi si va col prezzo 🙂

Has meltdown and spectre vulnerabilities. No viable fix yet and Intel is saying it must be a silicone fix! So now do I have to buy a new CPU? I hope not, they should replace the one I have! Will they produce new CPUs for my Skylake motherboard? They should or I’ll have to get a new motherboard and cpu! Probably all at my expence 🙁 I was also hit by the SB6190 puma6 flawed chipset from Intel! Hopefully Intel will do the right thing for once and do it quickly! Real this CPU and any motherboards that are made obsolete because of their failed design 🙁 I wouldn’t even think of buying another intel product right now. Go with AMD if you can’t wait for them to get their act together.

Gigabyte Motherboard Micro ATX DDR4 LGA 1151 GA-H110M-S2H GSM: First, let me say that all of the advertising hype is true. This is a top-quality MB. Not only that, it works great and has a very deluxe BIOS for many options. I installed an “i3” cpu and 8gigs of ram. The built in video is excellent and very fast. An unexpected feature was a 3rd SATA port. Note: this is a very small MB. It fits in an Mini-ITX type case. I am completely satisfied.

For mid level computing and high level gaming, I am very happy with this chip, I might upgrade to something with some more multitasking capabilities if I need to but this one is great so far, It does get a little choppy when I multitask sometimes but I can play online games and watch streaming services side by side with almost no interference.

Miglior processore per rapporto qualità prezzo su socket 1151. Alta frequenza per il massimo in applicazioni single thread e tecnologia HT per applicazioni più pesanti che supportano più core. Praticamente va quasi come un i5 6500 costando molto meno. Chiaramente nei benchmark è inferiore, ma come cpu per un pc longevo senza enormi pretese non si può chieder di meglio.

For $145, this is the best entry level processor on the market right now. Despite being an i3, the two physical cores are extremely fast with hyperthreading and wizzes through most tasks perfectly fine. The performance on this is much better than anything AMD offers at the same price point, while allowing you to upgrade to other i5 or i7 processors such as Kaby Lake down the road.Great for overall computing and more than sufficient for most games on the market today.

Au départ j’étais partis pour prendre un i5 série K. Et la sortie des kaby lake étant proche j’ai pas trop voulu investir dans un processeur haut de gamme. J’ai donc commande ce i3 série Skylake et j’en suis pas déçu !!Il culmine à 3.7 GHz, et reste à moins de 50° avec un TX evo 212 (ventirad d’origine trop bruyant), et est très silencieux malgrè tout.Il répond très bien au demande que je lui soumet (modélisation, streaming, gaming), couplé à une gtx 750 ti il fait tourner par exemple:- skyrim à 60 fps en ultra haute définition (1080p)- fallout 4 à 60 fps en hight (1080p)- fallout new vegas à 60 fps en ultra- wow en ultra à 135 fps et même gta V à 40 fps en medium !!Alors oui la nouvelle génération d’i3 skylake supporte le gaming si couplé à un bon GPU. Il est idéal pour de configurations à moins de 600e comme la mienne 🙂

Paired with a Nvidia GTX 970 and 8gb of DDR4 ram it is able t run most modern games comfortably.As most games depend hugely on the GPU, with many more not even using more than 2 cores, the speed of this processor means it performs really well.If you intend of using this for multiple tasks over many screens, or for any form of rendering, then consider and i5 instead. Otherwise this is a great choice for a cheaper gaming PC.

For the average user, it is great. It has plenty of processing power and it does not generate much heat, which means the fans do not have to run fast (and loud) to keep the system functioning. The integrated graphics technology will work well for the average person that browses the web, watches movies, reads email, types documents, etc. If you are building a new PC with a relatively limited budget, this is definitely worth a look.I am not sure how well this will work for modern gamers. Most of the games I play are either old or are much harder on the CPU than graphics. I tried this on one of the more CPU intensive games and and the integrated graphics were pretty bad when the CPU was strained. However, when I stuck an old video card in it, performance was great. The CPU had no problems. I just don’t know how the CPU will handle some of the more recent games that are hard on both the CPU and graphics.

Después de días y días de leer mil foros que si amd que si Intel que si con este Intel o este amd es suficiente para tus exigencias, que si mejor aumentar un poco más el presupuesto que si tal que si cual ,…me acabe decidiendo por este procesador por varios motivos. Antes que nada decir que lo compre para hacerle a mis padres un ordenador por piezas por su cumpleaños.1. Entre amd e Intel son evidentes que los precios son más económicos en amd pero la calidad de estos es peor. Se calientan más (tengo amd en mi ordenador) y es cierto y su rendimiento no es tan bueno como Intel. Rinde más Intel que amd a igualdad de precio aunque amd tenga más núcleos. No todos son los núcleos. Este Intel trae de por sí un disipador que hace que no sea necesario pillar otro aparte ya que apenas consume, mientras que amd al consumir más y dar tanto calor habría que gastar también en un disipador gastando más dinero.Ya aquí descarte amd y me decanté por Intel.2. Ahora tocaba elegir entre las distintas generaciones de Intel que hay. La 1150 o skylale 1151. Entre un i3 de una generación y otra había unos 17€ o así. Debido a por si en el futuro hubiera que hacer algo en el pc siempre sería más sencillo y barato encontrar piezas de lo ultimo que de lo antiguo sumado a que si estoy montando un pc de cero pues ya aprovecho y pillo la nueva generación con su leve mejora respecto a la anterior.En este punto por tanto decidí pillar skylale.3. Ahora lo más coñazo, pillar un pentium, un i3, un i5,… Los precios varían bastante. Con un pentium para el uso que van a dar mis padres estoy seguro que a día de hoy les va a ir bien, pero de aquí a unos años (quiero que el pc dure los máximos años posibles ) cuando los programas exijan más tiene menos recorrido ese pentium que el i3. Por lo cual me decidí por i3 sobre pentium. Luego mire i5 pero eso ya si que era innecesario.Por ahora muy satisfecho con el rendimiento del procesador y nuevo pc de mis padres.

ノートPC（core i7-3630qm）からこれにしました。スコアや値段的には下のクラスになりますが全く遅いとかゲームでカクつくとかそんなことは一切感じさせず、またエンコードにおいてはGPUとの協調効果が出るのでしょうか、前の時よりも倍くらいのスピードで完了でき、時代を感じました。また発熱が相当抑えられているようで、そこそこ負荷の高いゲームをずっとしていてもリテールクーラーがほとんど気にならないくらい静かにまわっています。おそらくこのクラスでは社外品のクーラーは必要ないと思います。

Tiene dos núcleos y cuatro hilos a 3,7 GHz pero su alto IPC y las mejoras que ha introducido Intel, unidas al uso de memoria DDR4, le permiten ofrecer un rendimiento realmente fantástico, incluso en juegos. Presi questo processore per completare la config itx da salotto per mio padre, e si è rivelata una vera sorpresa. Infatto ora da pc per lavoro ufficio e browsing si è trasformato in una vera e propria macchina da gaming, accostandogli una rx 480. Questo i3 performa in modo impressionante nei videogiochi, addirittura molto meglio del mio vecchio FX 8350, e bottlenecka in rarissime occasioni. Credo che sia la nuova baseline per un pc anche da gaming di fascia medio/bassa e config economiche migliore che si possa trovare. Non c’è bisogno di aggiungere che sia ottimo anche per il lavoro d’ufficio. Ottima anche la vga integrata che permette di lavorare su uno schermo nativo 4k senza problemi.

Se cercate un processore economico e potente quest’ultimo fa per voi soddisfatto al 100%. lo uso per giocare a giochi abbastanza pesanti assetto corsa, project cars, gta 5 e tanti altri giochi di nuova generazione abbinata ad una nvidia geforce gtx 1050ti da 4gb e 8gb di ram hyperx fury a 2133mhz. I giochi a grafica alta girano davvero bene senza quel fastidiossissimo lag. Uso il pc anche per editare video con sony vegas pro 14 o foto con photoshop senza problemi.

Very power efficient, and runs cool. The specs are as outlined so I won’t bother going into performance. My CPU installed and benchmarked just fine on my GA-H170N-WIFI motherboard.The standard Intel HSF is included. If you’re not overclocking, and you have sufficient airflow in your case, this will be adequate for your needs. It installs very easily and has thermal paste pre-applied (be careful not to smear it when you handle the HSF, as it’s packed unprotected). I will note however that the fan is noisy and has a terrible tonality (a high-pitched whine that audibly changes when the fan speeds up or slows down). The sound was unacceptable so I switched it out for the Noctua NH-L9I, which I’ve also reviewed elsewhere. It provided equivalent cooling with much less noise. I downgraded this review by one star for the fan noise.

Lo compré porque quería un procesador potente, de la plataforma Skylake y que además tuviera bajo consumo, y es lo que encontrareis en él.Lo tengo con el disipador stock porque para el uso que realizo con él me es suficiente, aunque si se fuera a usar de forma intensiva con juegos o programas de edición si que contemplaría adquirir uno más “serio”.En mi caso es para un PC que es HTPC/NAS. En el aspecto de NAS es genial porque consumo muy poco en reposo, y para las situaciones de HTPC al incorporar una buena GPU integrada reduce el consumo al no necesitar una GPU externa y además mueve fluidamente el escritorio a resolución 4K y las películas con esa resolución igual. Por supuesto, no podremos jugar a videojuegos a esa resolución con ella.Añado que por limitaciones del HDMI 1.4, a resolución 4K la máxima tasa de fotogramas por segundo que tendremos será de como máximo 30. Las películas suelen ir a 24 así que cubre perfectamente. La otra opción es usar una salida Displayport si la placa base lo tiene (pero no todos los televisores tienen esa entrada), usar un conversor Displayport a HDMI 2.0 (que son caros) o usar placas que si tienen HDMI 2.0 mediante un chipset integrado llamado Alpine Ridge pero resultan bastante caras (y en ese caso os recomiendo que mirarais una GPU externa).

In termini di risultati il dominio dei chip Skylake è evidente, ma abbiamo anche fatto una piacevole scoperta: il più economico AMD FX-6300 è comunque riuscito a tenere testa agli ultimi i3, non male per un processore con ormai tre anni sulle spalle. Parlando in generale però, con o senza il beneficio dovuto a RAM più veloci, il Core i3 6100 è generalmente più rapido e le possibilità offerte sono notevolmente maggiori sul fronte degli upgrade: con il prezzo delle RAM che cala sempre più non è così impensabile comprare della DDR4 anche su un PC economico.Lo Skylake Core i3 6100 è un ottimo prodotto per quello che costa, e soprattutto è fondamentale sottolineare come nella sua fascia di mercato sia quello che offre le performance migliori. Gli ultimi giochi stanno spostando il carico di lavoro sulla CPU, e il rischio di colli di bottiglia aumenterà ad avere chip poco prestanti. Nella nostra prova, il Core i3 6100 è risultato semplicemente il migliore per questa fascia di prezzo.

In questa fascia di prezzo rappresenta il compromesso ideale tra prestazioni (anche della grafica integrata) e prezzo. Ottimo per PC multimediali e per gioco entry-level. La grafica integrata è ovviamente adatta alla fruizione di contenuti in HD con codec x264 e x265 e persino per leggera grafica 2D o giochi a dettagli mediobassi e risoluzione 720p.

yes, I understand an i5 or i7 are faster and stronger. However, for many people that would be overkill. This runs just about anything you can throw at it. paired with an RX 480 it ran Witcher 3 @4K on high settings. Honestly would have loved to pair it with a better card to see how it performed. but for about $100, look no further.

Excelente para cualquier computadora de trabajo u oficina, al igual que para gaming, me hubiera gustado que este procesador rondara los 2 mil MXN, porque para lo que ofrece creo que es el precio justo. Sin embargo, excelente para todas las tareas y para jugar tambien, es de ultima generacion por lo que soporta memorias DDR4, y un poco mas de frecuencia nunca es mala 🙂 El empaque viene como en la foto, trae el procesador un ventilador intel y un sticker i3.

I got this processor for my home rig, main purpose of which was to do run MS Office, browser based ERP tools and to play some recent games. Pleased to say this sixth gen i3 is a beast, CPU load while working on most of my application has been minimal. Unless you are looking to run a lot of multi threaded application, no point going for i5/i7. Totally impressed with cpu, wanted an i5 6600k like everyone else does but could not currently streach to it, however this i3 6100 flies, am using it with an asus z170 pro gaming m/board 16gig 3000mhz corsair ram, r9 380oc video on a cheep samsung 24in monitor and could not be happier, plays all my games no trouble at all and very smooth, but!! to get the best out of it you must use a z170 m/board with 3000+ ram and a good vid card, the motherboard defaulted to 2400 at start up, and was noticably slower, believe the m/board will take 4000 ram, but expensive, highly recommended for a really good budget games machine unless you need bragging rights then it will cost you, A++++

Qualcuno utilizza questa APU anche per il gaming con buoni risultati e nonostante sia solo un dual core siamo al top della categoria. Con i suoi 3.70GHz di potenza non vi farà mancare niente, qualsiasi utilizzo domestico se ne faccia vi darà sodisfazione e anche se non è consigliabile come CPU per fare un PC da gaming, come già detto molte persone lo utilizzano con successo anche in questo settore, ovviamente affiancato ad una buona scheda video e alla giusta quantità di ram.Nessun difetto da segnalare, la APU arriva in BOX con il dissipatore e ventola e la pasta termoconduttiva già applicata, qundi ha già tutto ciò che serve per funzionare da subito.Da segnalare il discreto comparto grafico integrato Intel HD530 con cui non avrete nessun problema a far girare qualsiasi cosa tranne i giochi ovviamente.Assoutamente consigliato !

La colla è già applicata al dissipatore.Arrivato sotto natale in 2 giorni. ottimo servizio e pacchetto.L’ho preso per assemblare un PC Gaming entry/medium.L’idea è di giocare in full HD a giochi non recentissimi (non ho molto tempo da dedicare al gioco, causa lavoro e figli piccoli).Accoppiato con:- 8Gb (2x4Gb) DDR4 a 2133 MHz (HyperX Savage 2400 pronta per un futuro upgrade).- scheda madre MSI b150i gaming pro ac (niente overclock automatico, tanto senza una CPU ‘k’ non si fa granché).- gpu MSI gtx 750ti 2Gb presa usata (con l’idea di una sostituzione in futuro).- psu Corsair CX450M molto bello, silenzioso e semi-modulare.- HDD WD Scorpio 250Gb del 2007!!! Excellent CPU, y compris pour les jeux les plus exigeants. Il ne me paraît pas très utile de prendre les gammes au dessus, à moins de passer son temps à créer de grosses archives ou de faire tourner des applications qui tirent efficacement parti de plusieurs cœurs, ce qui est rarement le cas…

Ho assemblato un PC low budget e ho scelto questo i3 perché ne avevo sentito parlare bene. Frequenza di 3.7 Ghz con una scheda video integrata veramente ottima, riesco a far girare World of tank a (standard) 1080p tutto maxato a 70/80 fps. Molto soddisfatto dell’acquisto.

Hey Leute,zusammen mit einem MSI H110m Gaming Mainboard und 2x4gb DDR4-2133mhz und einer 1TB Seagate HDD (6Gb/s) bootet das System in ungefähr 20 sec. Er werkelt schön schnell im Desktop bereich und der Browser ist wie gewohnt auch in unter 2sec. auf. Gamingtechnisch bringt er in CS:GO auf 1280×960 in High details 50-60fps. Ist zwar eine schlechte Auflösung aber sehr gut Spielbar (und ja ich weiß, CS:GO könnte man auf einem Nokia 3310 zocken könnte wenn es Windows hätte :D). Baldige Spieletests erfolgen mit einer R9 380 4gb von MSI. Und dann werde ich euch darüber auch noch informieren. Bis jetzt aber alles super

Dopo moltissime ricerche e valutazioni ho considerato questo processore come il migliore per la sua fascia di prezzo, un ottimo processore ad un costo relativamente basso! Per una configurazione medio-bassa o da ufficio va più che bene, si riescono a girare anche a certi giochi più recenti che richiedono un buon processore.. diciamo che è quasi come un i5 (tra i modelli più vecchiotti) più economico. Ha un ottimo dissipatore che lo fa mantenere a buone temperature anche sotto stress e dai benchmaker ha degli ottimi risultati, io ho deciso di abbinarlo ad una Samsung MZ-75E250B SSD e alla ASrock H170 Pro4S ed il computer è una scheggia ad accendersi, una configurazione economica ma molto buona per chi cerca con poca spesa, le prestazioni al massimo. Consigliato a chi cerca un processore che apparte la qualità e la velocità sia anche longevo e ormai non già vecchio!Consiglio l’acquisto.

Lo compre hace un mes. Lo he montado con una base h110 y 8 gb de ram ddr4 2133mhz y le estoy cargando juegos tipo assetto corsa y project cars. A falta de una grafica dedicada, lo tengo en calidad media y los mueve muy fluidos. Totalmente encantado.

for even high-end gaming, this chip is 95% or more as good as an i5 or i7 of the same generation, for 50% and 33% of the price, respectively.paired with a 960GTX and even moderately clocked DDR4 ram, this will play most games on ultra on 1080p, namely:- CS GO- Any Blizzard game, including OverwatchNote that this chip, along with others of the same generation, will benefit much more than previous generation intel chips from higher clocked RAM.It’s no longer just a 1-5% increase in FPS, but more like 5-20% increase.An SSD is still a much more bang-for-buck upgrade than faster RAM, though.Only difference with this generation is that faster RAM comes in at a close second for best bang-for-buck upgrade.

Updated my computer with this CPU, an MSI Intel Skylake B150 motherboard, and 8GB Ballistix DDR4. WOW, what a difference! I had trouble at first with not getting any sound, but I wanted to update my Linux OS anyway and after doing so, the sound worked fine as well.

I have a i5 Skylake and a i3 Skylate on the same motherboard and both of these perform similar. On some games the i5 is going to outperform the i3, but if you turn down some of the settings the i3 works fine. The i3 is very fast for everyday tasks. All of my computers run ssd drives that will boost performance dramatically as well.Highly recommended.PS: The Skylake line will run 64bit virtual machines, unlike the 4170 line that had this feature disabled.

This nifty dual-core with Hyperthreading is a breath of fresh air over my older Pentium Dual-Core. Paired this up on a Asus B250M-A motherboard as a media server and the two work great together. On board graphics is sufficient.

I was in process of building a gaming rig but ended up with budget constraints and purchased finally this 6th generation but no issue the games I am playing on it are mafia III, the division (Tom Clancy), wolfeinstien old order and they all are running on 1024*768 pixel. FPS for all is almost 15 to 20 frame per second (fps). I am using GSKILL RAM of 16GB(Good computing speed and multitasking, not at all meant for gaming but graphic card of high parameter such as GTX series or Radeon 7000 series will make gaming better GB for each RAM slot). RAM MHz is 2133 MHz.

Para el 90% de los usuarios es un procesador que da la potencia necesaria, si la placa base lo admite es un buen procesador inicial, con el tiempo aparecen procesadores mejores y los actuales mas potentes son mas asequibles, siempre se puede cambiar por un i7 dentro de unos años.

In gioco le differenze con l’i5 6400 sono quasi inesistenti, dato che questo i3 ha un clock ben superiore rispetto al suo fratello maggiore. Non fa da collo di bottiglia a schede video di prestazioni inferiori ad una gtx 1070 e se non avete dei budget molto elevati questo è il miglior acquisto per voi. Se acquisterete schede madri con chipset z170 avrete anche la possibilità di overcloccarlo e, devo dire, che a 4,4 ghz toglie davvero delle belle soddisfazioni, raggiungendo e superando le prestazioni di processori haswell quali l’i5 4460 e 4440, ad un prezzo ben più contenuto… Se non siete avvezzi all’ overclock ne consiglio l’abbinamento a schede madri chipset h110, dal prezzo compreso fra 60 e 80 euro, in modo da avere delle ottime prestazioni ad un prezzo relativamente basso.

Great budget processor for a entry level gaming PC. The hyperthreading on this works well even though it only has 2 cores. A very great value for the price and it will handle most games at medium settings as long as you have a decent graphics card. I personally used this with a GTX 1050 Ti and together they can handle almost all current games at medium to high settings.

Muy buen procesador rápido, por el momento he probado juegos con su gráfica integrada y todo funciona perfecto, juegos de pasada generación los corre bastante bien (mejor que un Xbox 360/Ps3) con el tiempo agregare una tarjeta gráfica, para jugar juegos de actual generacion como se debe, pero de momento estoy muy feliz con el y las posibilidades que ofrece.

Its hard to beat the single-thread performance of this processor for the dollar. That said, even with its hyper threading – you will notice the lack of cores in intense operations.Still – I used it to build a budget PC and it performed well. Initially I had it paired with a 950, but I traded that out for a 1060. It definitely bottlenecks the 1060, no question about it. But then again – its less than $120.

El paquete llegó antes del tiempo estimado para la entrega. Estaba bastante bien embalado.Para los fines que estoy utilizando el procesador se desempeña de manera excelente y el consumo de energía del sistema completo es bastante bajo. Para mi esto era bastane importante ya que es una computadora que permanece encendida las 24hrs del día. El contrololador de video integrado funciona perfectamente y para mi no es necesaria una tarjeta de video aparte así que esta es suficiente.

Great cpu for the price. Can outperform any i5 or i7 from 4 or more years ago even with less cores. Can play games very easily. Video rendering is also fairly fast. The only thing that kind of sucks is that Intel removed the ability to overclock any non-k skylake cpu (including this one) so don’t plan on overclocking this.I got this cpu as a temporary one until kabylake comes out so I can get an i7 k series. This holds up to my needs either way. I can even stream to twitch no problemAlso for budget gamers without a gpu, this cpu can handle Minecraft with highest settings at 90fps, Rocket League at “Quality” settings at a playable framerate (I couldn’t actually measure, it was probably around 50fps) and Civ 5 no problem there. Good cpu to get until you can afford a gpu.

Malgré tout la surprise est bonne quant aux performances globales.Le montage est simple et j’ai utilisé le ventilateur livré pour le refroidissement ce qui est largement suffisant compte tenu de la puissance consommée. Be sure to check out the RAM compatibility, it supports DDR4 and DDR3L type memory, but according to me, you’re better off going for the DDR4 ’cause, DDR3L run on considerably lower clock speeds, and, the Motherboards that support DDR3L are difficult to find, DDR3 memory is not compatible with the skylake microarchitecture, i.e. the LGA 1151 socket type, so choose your components accordingly. Other than that, it is a ‘bang for the buck’, some people might argue that it only has 2 cores, and, it might get outdated pretty quickly when developers start using the DirectX12 or Vulkan APIs to make their products communicate with the hardware more directly, and 4 cores become a requirement rather than just an advantage. But, the important thing to remember here is that, this CPU is in the ‘middle’ class, i.e. in the more affordable spectrum of CPUs, it isn’t manufactured for setting benchmark records, it is for fulfilling ‘minimum’ requirements, and that, it will do just fine, for a considerable span of time. As maximum day-to-day programs being run, are usually single threaded, 3.7GHz clock speed, and 4 threads are more than enough. at just around Rs. 9000, it is an excellent choice.

Got a 7.4 for Windows Index Score. Runs very quiet with stock fan and runs very cool @ 23 C degrees. But you must buy a Graphics Card because the Integrated GPU SUCKS big time. Ho appena finito di assemblare il mio PC con questo processore, e devo dire che in generale mi sto trovando abbastanza bene. Il prodotto è venduto nella sua scatola, affiancato dal classico dissipatore stock della Intel (con la pasta termica già applicata, e che personalmente non ho cambiato dato che nelle altre recensioni avevo letto essere una buona pasta). L’ho abbinato ad una scheda madre Gigabyte GA-H110M-S2H. Nell’assemblare il PC ho deciso di non montare una scheda grafica (dato che non verrà utilizzato per giocare, renderizzare video, ecc.), e devo dire che non sto riscontrando problemi nell’utilizzo della grafica integrata del processore. Metto 4 stelle e non 5 per due motivi: il primo è che il dissipatore stock è, per i miei gusti, troppo rumoroso, e il secondo è che il prodotto è arrivato in 6 giorni lavorativi (e non nei classici 3-5 giorni lavorativi).

I wanted to upgrade to the LGA 1151 platform, but I didn’t want to jump to a Core i5 or Core i7 right away. I debated going with the lower Pentium G4400 or getting this Core i3, and in the end I got the i3, as I figured I could wait longer to get a i7, and I can re-use this in a secondary build down the road. I play a variety of games, such as Rocket League, GTA V, Far Cry, Total War, CSGO, etc, and all of these are completely playable, which I am happy about. I also do a bit of Twitch streaming and video editing, and while video rendering isn’t as fast as an i7, it still works pretty good for now, and I am able to stream to Twitch (720p, 30fps, 2000kbps) on this thing as well, although not necessarily at the same time as playing GTA V for example without a bit of issues.For the price, this really is a nice CPU.

Ho optato per questo processore per il buon rapporto qualità/prezzo.Le prime impressioni sono davvero positive.Tutto gira in maniera veloce e fluida (parlo di uso quotidiano Office, mail, web, ecc…)Ma non se la cava male neanche con applicativi Adobe, se utilizzati per funzioni basilari.Ovviamente per Gaming, Editing, 3D ed altro bisogna salire (anche di budget) ed affacciarsi agli i5 o i7Altro dato estremamente interessante è la temperatura. Pur essendo accoppiato ad un dissipatore Stock davvero “cheap” durante l’uso normale e non spinto, non supera mai il 28/30 gradi. Ottima notizia per l’estate in arrivo, che ovviamente vede salire questo valore.Ma, partendo da queste basi, si può essere abbastanza tranquilli.Abbinato il tutto ad una MOBO con chipset Z170 che mi consentirà in futuro di effettuare anche l’OCAdesso con i suoi 3,70 GHz dual core ed HT, non se ne sente davvero la necessità.In definitiva, è una buona scelta.Lo consiglio

You can not criticise this CPU, the £100 price range for a 2 core with hyper threading (therefore a theoretical 4 core CPU) is perfect for budget or mid range builds. I would recommend picking up a motherboard with overclocking capabilities (like this
Gigabyte Z170-GAMING K3 Socket 1151 Z170 Express DDR4 S-ATA 600 ATX Motherboard
) and a after market cooler (like this
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo Air CPU Cooler “RR-212E-16PK-R1, 4 x Heatpipe, 1x 120mm PWM Fan, Intel/AMD”
) to get a decent base clock of the CPU in the BIOS.Overall, this is a great CPU definitely worth the money!

I don’t recommend this CPU to someone wanting to play triple A titles, I was helping a friend build a starter gaming PC, GTX 1060 and this i3 6300, honestly it was perfect on games like “the forest” which he initially only wanted to play and obviously holds up titles which are optimized great for any range of PC performance like “Warthunder” which it runs at max settings never skipping a beat.BUT my friend bought “Forza Horizon 3” and even on minimum settings this CPU chokes and the game has constant stutter, sometimes running at a solid 60fps but most of the time running at 40-50fps with constant stuttering, this stuttering is the same on any graphics setting lowest to medium high.By stuttering i mean “unplayable to someone that cares like a avid PC gamer” he’s moving from console so to him he doesn’t care that much, honestly for me i wouldn’t even play the game for 5 minutes, it had input lag.I know the game requires a beefier 4 core processor as it’s in the minimum recommended settings but my friend that was new to PC gaming didn’t know anything about minimum settings before buying the game.Opening Skype and Forza horzion 3 made the game literally 5 FPS so it’s a problem with only being a duel core with hyper threading and not actually 4 cores.I wouldn’t recommend this Processor for gaming atall unless you don’t want any triple A titles (this PC was built pre Ryzen and way before Ryzen 3, i’d recommend Ryzen 3 over this i3 any day)in short it will run without any problems *these have only been tested with a GTX 1060 3GBWarthunder – max settings 1080pMinecraft – max settings 1080pworld of warships – max settings 1080pworld of tanks – max settings 1080pthe forest – medium to max settings 1080p

Estoy encantada con este procesador. Viene con su propio ventilador el cual trae la pasta térmica incorporada (tener cuidado al sacarlo de la caja puesto que podéis tocar con los dedos la pasta). Es super silencioso y eficiente. Apenas se calienta. Yo soy una usuaria de perfil bajo. No juego, solo utilizo el pc para internet y office. Os puedo decir que lo monté con una memoria de 8 gb ddr4 y en una placa gigabyte GA-H110M-S2H, con Windows 10 64 bits y va todo fluidísimo.Estoy encantada con la compra.Espero que dure.

A four threaded (2 core, 2 hyper threads) beast of a budget cpu. Combo this CPU with any rx 460, 470, gtx 1050, 1050ti or 1060 and it will chew through any AAA video game at 1080p+ resolution. Freaking awesome CPU on a budget. Stock cooler is also more than enough since this is a non-k cpu and can’t be overclocked.

TechSpot has a fantastic review of this processor – if you’re not sure, or if you’re trying to decide between this or an i5/AMD CPU, I suggest giving it a read. Basically, unless you *need* more than 2 cores (some games require quad cores, video rendering, etc), this processor is a fantastic buy. Efficient, (relatively) inexpensive and a high clock speed make this my go-to CPU of choice, except for extremely low-cost systems, or really high-end systems.My office PC has a 6100 in it, and I use it 8+ hours per day. 100% satisfied with the performance it delivers.

The i3-6100 is a powerful little dual core processor with hyper-threading that allows it to compete and surpass most similarly priced quad-core processors. It uses the 1151 socket which allows for easy upgrade into something even more powerful in the future.I used this as the core of my intel based computer for Video Gaming and rendering 3D models and video in Blender. I paired it with a GTX 960 video card and this duo has handled everything I’ve thrown at it without breaking a sweat. It runs Fallout 4 on ultra and has had absolutely no problem with No Man’s Sky.The stock cooler was a breeze to install and has kept the processor nice and cool. The pre-applied thermal paste on the heatsink has been more than adequate thus far (though I’ll probably clean it off and apply some Arctic Silver later just for my own peace of mind).While there are certainly more powerful processors on the market today, the i3-6100 is definitely the best on offer in its price range at this moment. It also has the benefit of allowing you the flexibility of upgrading to a much more powerful processor in the future.All of my previous builds have been AMD based and this little guy is certainly making me question my allegiance.It was relatively inexpensive, powerful, and the 1151 socket will let me upgrade to something much more powerful in the future should I so desire. Definitely happy with this purchase.

Non fatevi ingannare dal nome i3, è vero possiede solo 3 core, ma la performance di un processore è spesso nei Clock ovvero velocità con quale svolge azioni, mentre i core sono i numeri di azioni in contemporanea.Avendo un clock di base di 3.7GHz può svolgere si 3 operazioni di continua, ma mantere sempre una velocità abbastanza alta.Mentre per un processore i5, può svolgere 5 operazioni di continua, ma ad una velocità di media 3.2GHz.Quindi perchè l’i3-6100 è scelto comunque per il gaming confronto ad un i5?Beh avendo un clock più alto può essere comparato ad un normale i5, non può certo competere con un i5-6400 ( non “K” quindi non overclockabbile ) , oppure con un i5-660k ( overclockabile ) ma comunque resta una buona scelta Economica per il PC gaming.

Ho preso questo core i3 per risparmiare qualcosina ed avere un prodotto valido. Non sono stato ingannato, fa il suo lavoro egregiamente e spinge anche nei giochi recenti (abbinato alla giusta scheda video ovviamente). Non ci si può aspettare troppo, visto che è sempre un dual core, aprendo troppe cose insieme non potrete pretendere che vadano tutte alla stessa velocità contemporaneamente.L’ho provato per circa 2 mesi e non mi ha dato problemi di sorta.Acquisto consigliato, specie se non volete spendere troppo ma vi serve un processore recente e potente.

Teniendo en cuenta el prácticamente mismo rendimiento que su sucesor en Kaby Lake, el 7100, te puedes ahorrar perfectamente la diferencia, o invertirla en un ssd en lugar de un disco duro mecánico si estás montando un pc (a no ser que necesites mucho espacio). Para el que necesita el ordenador solo para navegar, ofimática, películas,… sobra. Y para jugar con añadirle una gráfica interesante (Amd 460 o GTX 1050 para arriba) se puede hacer con desahogo.

Excellent rapport qualité/prix à l’époque.En 2018 on reprochera à ce processeur que la puce vous force à prendre une carte mère qui ne pourra pas supporter les prochaines générations de processeurs. Prendre un i3-6100 maintenant vous posera un peu plus de contraintes pour l’évolution de votre ordinateur. Cependant ce processeur est largement suffisant pour faire tourner toutes les applications de bureautique standard et la plupart des jeux récents (avec une carte graphique milieu de gamme adaptée).

I bought this CPU for a £300 Hackintosh build. The CPU is brilliant, and for my needs the integrated HD 520 is fine. I do have one issue with this CPU and that is the stock cooler. For me, it is noisy and does not cool very well (65 degrees under load). However, I am looking to change this to a Hyper 212 EVO or similar when funds allow this.

Acquistato per sostituire il vecchio Core 2 Quad Q9400 overcloccato a 3.5 Ghz, abbinato alla mia RX 460 da 4GB la differenza si sente molto rispetto alla vecchia cpu, adesso riesco a tirare il massimo delle performance dalla RX460, per essere un semplice dual core con hyperthreding è molto veloce, e inoltre consuma molto di meno.Pienamente soddisfatto.

Definitely the best cpu for someone that is on a tight budget or the daily tasks.Totally recommend it for gaming as well if you’re in a 750£ budget for a computer build. Used this for a budget PC for my kids. Installed it with an SSD and 8GB Ram. Works better than I expected. They use it for browser games and Minecraft. Even without a video card it works perfect for both. My kids are thrilled to have their own own PC that outperforms their dads laptop with an older i5. Would buy again in a heartbeat if I need to build another budget PC.

This is the budget iCore CPU – better than the plain Pentium but nearly at a double price. Still recommended for future proofing your PC (I use it in small factor Shuttle DH110 bare-bone). Great for multimedia center as it supports better internal graphics (Intel HD530) and runs very quite and cool!

Fast and capable. but I’m not a gamer so can’t comment from that view but I do also have a rx 460 powercolor card and I am definitely not complaining, watch movies and youtube to learn stuff

Este procesador es perfecto para montar un PC Gaming de gama de entrada. Tiene un rendimiento muy bueno, superando a los AMD FX de todas las gamas cuando se trata de juegos. Sin duda Intel ha hecho un muy buen trabajo con este procesador, que por el precio ofrece más de lo que se puede esperar. En términos generales, el ordenador va muy fluido y su uso diario es brillante. Cuando hablamos de juegos, por este precio es el mejor procesador que hay ahora mismo y decir que rinde estupendamente. Juegos como GTA V que demandan mucha CPU los soporta bien. Aconsejo emparejarlo con una gráfica de entrada como puede ser la RX 460 o la GTX 1050/1050ti.

Confrontato con un i3 di 4 generazione è una bomba fluido e veloce per un utilizzo normale accostato a un ssd e 8 gb di RAM assolve all’utilizzo del 90 % degli utilizzatori di pc . Forse l’unica pecca è che confrontato con un pentium g4400 costa più del doppio e su stesse configurazioni non si notano grosse differenze, o meglio costa il doppio ma va poco più forte per un utilizzo normale tipo film hd , internet , sarebbe sufficiente il pentium , sul lato del risparmio energetico però è più efficiente quindi nel lungo periodo probabilmente si ripaga. Voglio dire solo questo , a chi è abituato a usare un portatile i processori da fisso sono un’altra mondo a livello di prestazioni , e i3 i5 i7 in se non vogliono dire nulla perché siamo ormai a 7 generazioni e da una generazione all’altra ci sono salti di prestazioni talmente grandi che il mio datato i7 2750 k ( all’epoca 350 euro di processore ) oltre a essere un forno da raffreddare a liquido , in realtà in uso normale non è più potente di questo processore quindi , meglio spendere 2 soldi in più su una scheda madre che generalmente non si cambia più che un processori che al triplo del prezzo non garantiscono 3 volte le prestazioni .

It’s a dual core 4 thread cpu. High GHz. Was kinda worried it’d be a weak placeholder for an upgrade down the line, but it has been playing the AAA titles I throw at it, mated with a gtx 950 just fine. I just have to turn the AA and Shadow settings down a little. Mated with a SSD, this thing installed Windows quick and is snappy on the desktop. No complaints.

Spesso chi acquista un pc e lo desidera performante punta su un processore i5 e i7 [ con questo intendo che BUTTA SOLDI ], cosa sbagliatissima a mio parere. Se volete un pc più performante dovete considerare in quali ambiti lo userete, la cpu non è il pc, la cpu è un componente che senza il resto del pc serve solo come fermacarte. Consiglio quindi, per un utente normale, che vuole anche giocare dato che sulla maggior parte dei giochi se monti una 1060 il processore a 100% non ci arriva tranne che nei caricamenti di gioco (ma li ci arrivi anche con un 7700k a 5.5ghz) e tale abbinamento permette di settare dettagli max a 1080p e mantenere i 60fps su praticamente tutti i giochi [ intendo i3-6100 + gtx 1060 3gb ], di meditare sulle scelte, dato che invece di buttare soldi per un i7 che non aumenterà le performance del vostro pc sappiatelo ( o meglio un i7 abbinato ad una componentistica adeguata permette prestazioni al top ma, un i7 non utilizzato per Editing serio, o comunque non abbinato a ssd NVMe M.2, 16gb di ram ad alte performance ed ad una titanX Pascal[ si neanche la titan nuova mette in difficoltà il 6700k] serve solo come bella presenza e per farvi i fighi che avete l’i7 ). Se siete quindi persone con un budget definito, che vogliono ottenere il massimo in prestazioni giornaliere, quindi game a 1080p dettagli max + utilizzo internet e programmi vari, consiglio di puntare a questo processore ( i3-6100 o al massimo qualcosa di leggermente superiore badate a non buttare i soldi ) + se volete anche giocare di puntare ad una 1060 3Gb o un RX 480 ( per non essere di parte ), ( tanto il monitor 4k di paperone non lo avete [scherzo io amo il 4k] e ripeto la 1060 attualmente mantiene una media di circa 60 fps a praticamente tutti i giochi, da notare che il 95% degli schermi hanno un aggiornamento massimo di 60 volte al secondo quindi avere 300 fps non cambia tanto anche se qui ci sarebbe molto da discutere ma in linea di massima è così ) + un SSD Sata 3 o un SSD NVMe M.2 + Ram di 8Gb a vostra scelta, purchè non prendiate roba pezzotta, per gaming e programmetti vari va benone. Se ad esempio avete 800 euro e 350 ci pagate il processore per poi comprare un HDD da 1 tera per supportate i dati state facendo la più grande cavolata della vostra vita, cosa che spesso si trascura è che l’HDD oltre che ai dati contiene il sistema operativo. Il sistema operativo è ciò che fa funziona il pc, non è meno importante del processore ne della ram. Oltre ad essere dalle 5 al 25 volte più veloce di un HDD, un ssd non frammenta i dati e quindi neanche il sistema operativo, oltre a questo non è meccanica e quindi silenziosa, non si rompe, non degrada le performance con il tempo. Cosa che molti non sanno è che la reattività dei programmi come Google Chrome, l’avvio di windows, l’avvio dei programmi in generale, L’accesso all’archivio oltre che l’intera Reattività del Sistema Operativo non mandano sotto sforzo il processore ma la memoria. In poche parole un processore da 50 euro + 4gb di ram dual channel a bassa latenza + un ssd NVMe M.2 settati su una scheda madre adeguata, creano un computer molto + reattivo e gratificante di un i7 + 16Gb Ram + HDD 3Tera. Ovviamente quest’affermazione è vera in parte, nel senso che ovviamente in game andrà male o nell’utilizzo Cad e di rendering non sarà il massimo ma in linea generale l’esperienza utente è molto + soddisfacente di quell’altra sopra citata.Se quindi pensate di acquistare un nuovo pc sappiate che il processore non è il pezzo fondamentale del pc, in Gaming il componente principale è il processore grafico ( ovviamente colli di bottiglia per incompetenza esclusi ), in utilizzo comune al 80% delle persone l’SSD è il componente sul quale puntare e solo in Rendering, Cad ed ambiti lavorativi pesanti ( non uffici attenzione per Pesanti intendo Pesanti ) il processore fa la differenza.Parentesi d’informazione per chi non sapesse cos’è un SSD è una specie di scheda di memoria che fa lo stesso lavoro dell’HDD diverse e diverse volte meglio, un SSD NVMe M.2 è una nuova generazione di SSD supportata da ormai quasi tutte le schede madri che permette di avere dalle 4 alle 6 volte le performce di un comune SSD. Notate che comunque un SSD Sata 3 ( ovvero quello comune ) è sufficiente per avere un sistema reattivo e prestante non serve che buttiate i soldi su un NVMe se non ne avete bisgno. Altra informazione un HDD nuovo ha performance di circa 150mb/s, un ssd sata 3 di circa 500 mb/s, un NVMe M.2 di circa 2500mb/s. Notate in oltre che anche se l’HDD nuovo ha quelle performance è una memoria meccanica, con il tempo diventa super lentissimo e frammenta i dati, invece un ssd nel tempo mantiene invariate le performance, quando un computer invecchia è praticamente sempre colpa del HDD o al massimo della poca ram ed entrambe le cose sono risolvibili quindi pensateci 2 volte a buttare un pc.Spero davvero di esservi stato utile e che da questa recensione qualcuno cominci a capire che chiedere: Che processore hai nel pc? è come chiedere di che colore hai messo i calzini = Non serve.

Not sure you can find a better all-around processor for the price. Only a dual core, which will limit performance in heavy multitasking, (beyond your average office/Internet work) but hyperthreading and Intel’s fabrication and chip design allows it to shine in gaming and everyday tasks while absolutely sipping power.Great processor to pick up if you’re waiting to save up for a higher end Skylake CPU. This CPU should hold its value very well in the coming year. A must get for gamers on a budget. Outperforms most AMD Chips regardless of cores or price. Buon compromesso tra prezzo e prestazioni.Si riesce a fare praticamente tutto, anche elaborazione video con un pò di pazienza.Dissipatore in allumino compreso nel BoxNon scalda e no assorbe molta corrente, quindi anche l’alimentatore che puo essere usato non serve molto potente, con consumi eccessivi di corrente.Se su questo prodotto dovessi riscontrare delle problematiche in futuro, aggiornerò la recensione.Le recensioni che faccio sono esclusivamente soggettive, quindi quello che piace a me, può non piacere ad altri, ma se percepisco della qualità nei prodotti le rendo volentieri disponibili a tutti.Spero di essere stato utile, se è così, ne sono felice.

I don’t regret saving my money and going with an I3 instead of the more expensive Core i5.Why?I don’t play games and don’t need much for what I do. For what I need, this is perfect.Never once have I felt this processor was slow or that I should have went with the Core i5.I actually upgraded because my 7 year old Core 2 Quad Q6600 was taking forever to encode video.Encoding 1080p to MPEG2 would take 3-5 hours. Now it takes less than an hour.I was surprised to find that somehow Intel managed to make installing a CPU extremely easy.I didn’t even notice any pins on this thing and it’s way smaller than my old Core 2 Quad.I’m using the stock cooler and my PC is pretty much dead silent.Totally painless install in every way too.The only problem i’ve had is issues with the onboard video.I would get random black lines in Firefox and other apps for no reason. Barely noticeable.After upgrading to beta drivers the problem is gone.I’m seriously impressed at how much faster my computer is now compared to before.Even my solid state drive is running much faster. It sure is nice being able to boot up within 20 seconds.One thing I ABSOLUTELY HATE is Data Execution Protection (DEP in BIOS).Whenever I enable this nonsense it causes major crashes in both Windows 7 or Windows 10.It usually ends up with a program saying “This program has closed”.I had to disable this “feature” in software and in the BIOS to keep from having my ancient programs crash non-stop.

Great CPU for a great price. I always seek the best bang-for-buck components and while I would normally shy away from the “low end” components the existing reviews encouraged me to take a chance. So far I have not been disappointed. Normal desktop tasks and moderated gaming hasn’t left me wanting more. I don’t even have a dedicated GPU and I can play CS:GO at 1080p on MEDIUM settings and it’s perfectly fine. Included fan is quiet. I don’t plan to OC so the stock cooler will remain.

I know 6 or even 8 cores of blazing fast amd processor a budget friendly price is almost too much to pass up..but I urge you to pass it up and never look back. If you don’t remember anything else I write seal this within your brain housing group. Architecture is what matters my brethren and sistren. Intel has the faster, more efficient architecture. So to make a looooong story short…the dual core i3 6100 with its 3.7 smokes a six core amd fx 6300. Forget about over clocking it….forget that it has 6 cores…forget the pricetag. Forget it and buy the i3 6100 if that’s your budget limit. Now pair that with a gtx 960 and enjoy seamless 1080 gaming at reasonable frame rates at medium or better. Hardcore gamers will need better. Think about your build. If you get that old lame amd chip you gotta get that old lame motherboard and ddr3 ram. All you can upgrade to is the 8 core fx chips which still have that lame architecture. You buy the i3 skylake chip and the 1151 motherboard and ddr4 ram and you have multiple amazing options for upgrading the processor when you get all that money. Don’t be a sucker. Don’t be an Amd fanboy. You will be the laughing stock of all your PC gaming nerd friends(if you even have friends.)

Perfect for a budget build. I paired this cpu with the ASRock H170M-Pro4 Motherboard, a Crucial MX300 275GB M.2 SSD, Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM, and a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler. For a few hundred dollars and re-using my mother’s case and psu I built her an all-around rig that will easily crush whatever tasks she will throw at it. I gave it a moderate over-clock (sorry, I don’t remember what I set it to) that the Hyper 212 keeps the cpu at 26 deg C at idle.

With a decent GPU (GTX 1080), you’ll get gaming performance that ranks among the top 25% of PCs on benchmark sites and apps. Save your money for your GPU, that’s where the heavy lifting needs to happen. So if you’re willing to put up with the “ha-ha, you’re stuck with an i3” comments, be happy knowing that you’ll be smoking rigs that cost almost twice as much.

The Core i3-6100 sits on the current bottom end of Intel’s 6th-Generation “Core” chip stack. There are two slightly higher-clocked Core i3 chips available, as well. But the Core i3-6100 is arguably the best value, with a 3.7GHz clock speed and integrated HD 530 graphics that are just slightly (by 100MHz) down-clocked compared to its much-costlier counterparts.The other notable detail in the chart above is that Intel’s Core i3 chips are rated at 47 watts, while AMD’s high-end APUs (and the Athlon X4 880K) are rated at 95 watts. While TDP (thermal design power, a measurement of heat output) generally doesn’t translate to exact power consumption numbers, it’s clear that Intel’s CPUs still have a huge advantage when it comes to performance per watt. As we’ll see, the Core i3 chip generally outperforms AMD’s competing chips on most CPU-specific tasks. Hard to give a review on a CPU, as long as you knew what you were buying. Works as expected. Comes with a default CPU cooler, which in this case may be quite enough for an i3 processor, as long as you don’t want something a bit quieter.

Switched from an AMD FX 6300 to this. I was concerned about a performance drop since this has 4 “virtual” cores as opposed to six cores on the AMD. HOWEVER… This runs programs and games a lot faster than the AMD!! There are plenty of benchmarks out there to prove it. Definitely a great buy for a budget gaming build!

You get what you pay for normally. I bought 2 of these for some HTPC builds and they work amazing. very impressed with the i3 under 100 dollar pricetage and performance and spunkiness of the CPU. now don’t go thinking this can handle some intense gaming (obviously paired up with a graphics card) or even heavy video editor software. It would definitely be chugging for awhile as it is not an i5 or i7 by any stretch of the imagination. But it is perfect for the budget builds that would do light gaming as well as some video streaming and HTPC style workload.

Mind you, this is a Dual-Core CPU but I really haven’t had any slow downs at all. I’ve paired this processor with a Radeon RX 470 OC graphics card, and it’s played every game I have without any hiccups. Probably thinking of upgrading to an i5 or a i7 in the meantime. Or even I might give AMD Ryzen a try if it lives up to it’s hype. But nonetheless great budget CPU, if you’re a gamer on a budget and thinking about getting this to save money go for it!

Debido a las comparativas que existen en la red, no esperaba demasiado de este procesador y, simplemente, lo quería para armar una computadora de estudio para mis hijas de 11 y 13 años y darle uso así a una tarjeta madre que ya tenía. Para mi sorpresa, y a pesar de que tengo computadoras mucho más potentes, me encontré cómodamente sentado frente a esa, instalando programas para mí y usando programas de diseño, en monitor dual, sin más tarjeta gráfica que la que el procesador incluye sin que este se quejara ni un poco. Su consumo de energía, el cual medí porque soy un poco obsesivo con eso, suele rondar los 30W, bajando a 20 cuando se ejecutan tareas sencillas o se lee algo y subiendo hasta 50 con tareas más demandantes por lo que también es una excelente opción para una computadora de bajo consumo y un rendimiento decente.

Processore perfetto per una configurazione LOW/MIDDLE-COST, abbinato a una memoria ssd installandoci sopra il sistema operativo sa dare molte soddisfazioni. Per ora non ho riscontrato impuntamenti del sistema dovuti al calcolo di troppe operazioni, anche se sovraccaricarlo troppo si nota un rallentamento generale ma comunque nulla di grave. Per chiudere, perfetto per chi sta cercando qualcosa che non sia veramente penoso ma purtroppo non ha possibilità di spese maggiori!

Honestly this is the best processor you can go with if you’re on budget and want a gaming pc. This processor won’t bottleneck graphics card like the GTX 1060 and provides amazing performance in games. In my current rig I have a Core i3 6100 paired with a GTX 770 and I can smash AAA titles at High-Ultra at 1080p and receive solid smooth frame rates.If you do have more money to spend on a cpu I would go with the Core i5-6500 but honesty you don’t need an i5 to game. I had a maximum budget of £350 and this processor ticked all the boxes, so glad I didn’t go with the AMD Ahtlon X4 860K…

Ottimo processore del quale sfrutto anche la scheda grafica integrata. Abbinata ad una ssd permette di avere un pc economico dalle buone prestazioni. L’ho usato per fare simulazioni con Ansis (accoppiato con ram da 8 Gb) e funziona bene, non come i fratelli delle serie maggiori ma è un buon compromesso prestazioni/prezzo.

The reviews are true. For the £100ish mark, you simply will not get a better budget performer chip than the Skylake i3 6100. If you don’t believe me, check out TechRadar, Tom’s Hardware, Overclockers… Dual core, with four threads, effectively making it a quad core, and with the right beta Bios, fiddling with the multiplier and voltage, you can easily overclock the chip (and get some extra life) boosting its on-board 3.7Ghz to 4-4.5Ghz. If you are going to over clock, you will have to bin the fan supplied with this chip, and get something like the £30 (As of March 2016) Cooler Master 212 Evo instead. Recommended.

Just completed 2 Mini ITX HTPC builds/rebuilds with these new Skylake chips. Wow! these units edge out the performance of my nearly 3 year old Ivy Bridge I7-3770S and I5-3570K builds for less than half the cost. Now and 3 years ago I used the best available Asrock ITX boards to enhance what I want in these units: feature rich power HTPC’s that can run nearly silently with ultra low profile CPU fans without burning up. With the previous builds I had to use the motherboard’s built in controls to slightly underclock the CPU’s to get the thermal and quiet noise level patterns I wanted. Now I have used 2 new Fatal1ty Z170 Gaming-ITX/ac boards with thirteen buck Rosewill RCX-Z775-LP 80mm Sleeve Low Profile CPU Coolers that without underclocking run the new I3’s quietly 10-15 Celsius lower than the old builds. Plus I now have HTPC’s that have HDMI 2.0 ports that can run 4K video at 60Hz.I am not a gamer, so I also used the Fatal1ty Z170 Gaming-ITX/ac boards to get the new USB3.1 and C ports and upgraded Audio. I suspect that gamers on a budget could put the cash saved on this Skylake I3 into a good Graphics board and small SSD – and still have a rocking machine. Recommend: Don’t skimp on the motherboard though.Update: 5/18/2016: Just saw some old comments/questions: Yes, I am using onboard graphics only. My HTPC enclosures are only about 8X8X2.5 inches. In these tiny boxes the older I7 & I5 Ivy Bridge temperatures ran up fan speeds and noise too much for my tastes while watching video, so I artificially under clocked them in the bios to reduce the thermal profiles and quiet the fans to unnoticeable beyond 12-18 inches away from the units. The I3 Skylake builds run quietly as HTPC’s without bios setting modifications. The only time fan speeds and noise increase are during maintenance tasks such as virus scans and OS update installs which run quickly with the I3’s. But for my personal preference for snappy maintenance, the G4400 or G4500 Skylake dual-cores might have worked well as HTPC’s for me. I did build a totally silent HTPC using an Asrock Q1900DC-ITX board which includes an Intel Quad-Core Processor J1900 with fanless heat sink and built in DC/DC power for cheap. It runs well as a HTPC, but it’s pokey running maintenance tasks, so like the I3’s better

Another purchase for a new pc build for my father-in-law. He was running on an old AMD athlon system which could no longer keep up with the demands of having more than two tabs open on a browser and running skype simultaneously. I have an i5 running my system and have been using it for the past couple of years and it has always performed admirably so i chose an i3 for the new build even if it was a little more expensive than AMD’s chips. I reviewed benchmarks, comparison tables and user reviews until i decided this was the best bet and i have not been disappointed. My father-in-law now marvels at how he can browse the web in real-time and not on a several second delay as the pc buffered and stuttered.

I got this because it’s price point to processing speed was among the best that I’d seen. I mostly do single-threaded computing and trailing edge games, so this thing delivers exactly what I need. I rarely get this thing processing so hard that I can hear the fan. I paired this with a respectable NVidia GPU and an SSD, giving me 60 fps on most older games.

Let me begin by saying this is a great processor and comes at a cheap price. Intel has been great with providing reliable, power efficient, and performance capable processors. This i3-6100 is no exception to that. 2)Those looking to cut money in a more expensive PC build by taking the i3-6100 over an i5 chip should be made aware that that performance lost by giving up the two extra physical cores in the i5 will be noticeable. The benefit of having 4 physical cores in the i5 is huge especially in things like media editing and content creating. I made the choice to skip out on the i5 in my rig and go with this i3 and all I can say is that I wish I had went with the i5 (I create video content for both school and leisure on YouTube). The amount of time saved rendering out each video with the i5 would have been well worth my money. If between this i3-6100 and a Skylake i5, I would say spend the extra now and not have to regret it in the future, or spend much more to upgrade.Hope this helped you make a decision on this processor

I did a small upgrade on my system, including this processor.My computer is primarily used for compiling Visual Basic and C++, with some play of ancient games and managing some movies and files.This step’s through far better (and faster). I am now able to “run through”, and not just go step by step. Recompiling videos takes about a quarter the time as before.The two changes were going from SATA II to SATA III (double speed on the SSD, not directly connected to the processor), and going from an older i3 3.0 GHz dual to this one.The difference is tremendous.If you want to do gaming, get an i5 or better. This can get the job done, but you will appreciate having spent the extra money.If you only do games from 2014 and before, this one will more than make the cut. If you work with numbers and scripts, this CPU is more than you need, but you’ll appreciate the extra.I would recommend this to any moderate end computer user.

An i7 is a lion , but let me tell you something. This i3 is a little damn cheetah when it comes to doing things. Don’t underestimate this baby. She can run Arma 3 on all high settings while getting 50-60 FPS, without over clocking.I love this CPU, I really do & if you are ok a budget this thing is the best bang for your buck.

This is a great processor! Great for budget builds or any builds that aren’t super process heavy. If you’re a heavy user, you should probably look at an i5 or i7 in the Skylake family. Pairs well with a 970. Anything more and you may as well splurge for an i5.

This is THE budget gaming CPU. Forget the fx 6300, or even the more exspensive 8300 series. This beats both those processors in HUGE ways. I’ve used this in two builds now. One not exceeding 450$ and being able to max games like GTA V. Perfect CPU don’t look anywhere else.

Its a budget processor. Provides 2 cores with 2 threads which are like 2 virtual cores. Handles multitasking very smoothly when paired with 8 GB RAM and MSI PRO V motherboard with LGA 1151 architecture. Costed Rs 9K and worth it. Easy to install and keeps your system cool. Not for heavy gamers though. But very efficient for regular use and light gaming as heavy games can not reproduce 60fps with this unless paired with good graphics card.

Amazing processor especially at overclocking, but if you plan on buying a GTX 1060, then this does bottleneck the GPU a bit. If I had to make another purchase, I would’ve bought the i5 6600k. THOUGH the i3 6100 is still amazing.

Montado en una placa asus h110m-d , acompañado de 8 gb ddr4 skill ripjaws y ssd 850 evo. El rendimiento es alucinante, le instalé win7 en modo uefi, tardando solo unos poquisimos minutos en concluir, pudiendo a continuación visionar contenido en 4k con una rapidez pasmosa (aún no me ha llegado la gráfica) y tambien le he instalado algunos juegos de años anteriores como battlefield 4 y medal of honor,etc..y me los corre con ajustes medios-bajos. La puntuación de windows 7 para cpu, gráficos y memoria vídeo es 7.4 :6.8 :6.8 Recomiendo no comprar ninguna tarjeta gráfica de precio inferior a los 100 € porque la mejora respecto a la integrada te resultará decepcionante.

Dati i suoi 3,70 GHz di frequenza non si blocca mai ed è ottimo e funzionale per tutte le operazioni. Inoltre se abbinato ad una buona scheda video sarà molto presentate anche in gioco. Lo consiglio vivamente a chi vuole farsi un PC da gaming e non ha un budget molto elevato a disposizione.

After my previous system burned out, I looked into building a budget-friendly microATX gaming PC. I considered going with a non-K i5, but after reading tons of reviews online and considering the fact that the 6100 was about $100 cheaper than the cheapest i5, I decided to choose the 6100. I am thoroughly impressed with its performance for such a good price. I had previously owned an i5-4690K OC’d to 4.1GHz with 8GB DDR3 memory. For considerably cheaper than my previous rig, I was able to snag the 6100, a microATX motherboard, and 16GB of DDR4. I also upgraded my SSD to a 256gb Samsung 850 EVO. My machine feels noticeably faster now. I am unsure of which part accounts for this, or if all of them working together is the culprit, but whatever the case may be it feels like greased lightning. I paired this with a Zotac GTX 1060 and have been getting 55-60FPS consistently at 1080p in The Witcher 3 with the CPU hitting a max of about 46C. I am also getting consistent 100FPS in Dwarf Fortress 2014 at a fortress population of 240 with little to no fortress or game optimization present. Anyone who has played DF knows how ludicrous that is. My previous rig, with its overclocked i5, could handle a pop of 120 before slowing down to 60FPS, and ground to a halt at anything over 160.Overall, this is quite possibly the best budget CPU out there. Don’t let the fact that it only has two physical cores scare you: it’s tough enough to handle anything you throw at it.

This 6th Gen I3 3.7GHZ Is almost 90% faster than my old 2nd Gen Sandy bridge 3.1GHZ processor. The memory speeds went from 1.333GHZ to 2.133GHZ so that would help as well. So basically it is like getting an older I5 system. But it also costs 50% more than my old I3 system. Computer prices are supposed to go down as time goes by but not in this case I suppose even though HD prices have dropped but not the CPU or RAM prices. My old I3 let me do all the things I wanted to do without any problems by adding more memory so the CPU was not a bottle neck anyway even with watching movies and browsing and having 500 windows open at the same time, But the best thing about this is, the electricity usage on this is under 5 watts under normal operations while with sandy bridge it was 15 to 20 watts with it hitting 60 watts under full load and this also hits around 60 watts but runs at twice as fast. Also while watching a movie it still stays under 5 watts, something else I noticed it the CPU usage where it stays around 800mhz while CPU load gets upto 50%.. While with sandy it would actually go to 2GHZ when CPU load got to 50%. So I am sure over all my electric bill will be much lower now. The DDR4 RAM shows as using under 2watts while with the DDR3 it was almost 5 watts. And in a decade I can recoup the extra cost I paid for this system in saved electric bills.. But anything to save some gas for now I suppose. The extra speeds might come in handy I am sure but none of the games and such I use used up the sandy bridge processor at 100% except in a few rare cases so this should last a while. The electricity usage was why I got tis instead of the 8 core AMD which was only like $20 more but the 8 core AMD would still end up cheaper over all and faster. So it was a trade off like getting a more efficient appliance by paying twice as much. What we do to save the planet even if others are hell bent on destroying it. I tried the Intel lower power later gen CPU’s but those would not be sufficient for multi tasking even if they used far less power. This on the other hand does use less power until you need it. So that made a huge difference. Compared to the Intel of 2 decades ago I am impressed by such things. From other reviews I see that this can also throttle up the juice to do pretty much anything you want for most things so I would say this is the sweet spot for the vast majority of uses. The prices could be cheaper though and I bet once the new AMD CPU’s hit, things will get interesting. But until then we have the I3 6100.. Spending $10 more for an extra 100mhz? What ever for.. At 3.7GHZ, 100 MHz is like less than 5%.. And $30 more for 3.9HGZ? Why not just get the I5 then.. At that point you start to look at over clocking the memory as well and well soon you double the price of the system and then you want liquid cooling and nitro boosters and RAM based storage and and and….

it comes with a ddr3 compat motherboard and when skylake cpus are used with ddr3 after a year or half the cpu gets damahed so buy same mobo with ddr4 compat ram

I built my first PC about a month ago and this is an awesome budget CPU. This CPU combined with a SSD, nice GPU, and good ram makes a super fast and enjoyable gaming rig on a budget. This processor can easily handle games (with a good GPU of course), and any everyday task you have in mind. Great product at a great price.

Tutti vogliono il top del top, ma per me questo processore abbinato ad un disco SSD va bene per quasi tutto e quasi tutti, ottimi risultati come regalo a mio figlio che gioca con il computer a giochi come Counter Strike, Minecraft ed altre cavolate online. Io personalmente lo ho usato e non mi lamento.Dunque, se non dovete fare rendering, giocare chissa che gioco in chissa che risoluzione, modellazione 3D, CAD ecc. non avrete mai bisogno di tanta potenza di processamento, investite piuttosto in memoria ddr4 e disco SSD.

No issues with the product at all. Replaced the motherboard and processor of a cheap desktop I snagged a few years ago and everything runs a lot better. Benchmark scores went up 3k and games loaded much better.Stock fan is fine as is and temps have been very stable. Would recommend for a budget budget gaming machine.

Il prodotto è arrivato in tempi previsti. Ho installato il tutto su una scheda madre Socket1151 con chip z270. Devo dire che le prestazione del processore non sono male, considernado anche il prezzo. Diciamo che per un uso del pc per scopi di ufficio e navigazione web, va più che bene. Sarebbe solo limitato per applicazioni grafiche e di progettazione dove cono richiesti processori più veloci.

Bought two replacing an aging i5 750 and e8400. Was worried about running multiple VMs and handbrake but the CPU powers right through without a hiccup. Pulls around 26w with an SSD and 2tb HD onboard a Gigabyte H110 board.

je viens de remplacer ma configuration basée sur un core 2 quad Q6600 socket 775 par une configuration basée sur ce i3 et pour l’instant je ne vois aucune différence. sous VirtualBox ce processeur est même plus rapide et efficace qu’avec mon ancien. pour une utilisation bureautique multimédia il convient parfaitement, il n’est pas nécessaire de passer sur un plus gros processeur.

Après les Pentium qui ont fait leur temps, cette dernière génération de processeur Intel est exceptionnelle. La pose sur la carte mère est beaucoup plus facile qu’avant, les repères précis. Fonctionnement sans reproche, du très bon Intel.

Che dire della famiglia CORE I-XNotevole, e con prestazioni che da generazione in generazione non deludono mai!In particolare la serie i3, giunta anch’essa alla sesta generazione è per pc entry level di fascia media in quanto forniscono comunque una buona capacità di calcolo per fare qualunque cosa; addirittura, se abbinati ad una scheda grafica di ultima generazione, che non carica troppo la CPU di sistema, sono in grado di soddisfare anche i Video Gamers più esigenti che non hanno grossi budget a disposizione.Il processore ha appena un anno di vita ( è stato lanciato sul mercato nell’ultimo periodo del 2015 ) e necessita di scheda madre con socket FCLGA1151; tecnicamente c’e’ da dire che ha due core in grado di elaborare 4 thread in contemporanea, il processore ha una frequenza base di 3.70 GHz che abbianti ad una SmartCache da 3 MB garantisce una velocità del bus fino a 8 GT/s DMI3 con un consumo di soli 51 W ( ovvero anche sotto stress scalda molto poco !!) e non richiede dissipatori a ventola particolari ( quello fornito a corredo va piu’ che bene! )Come quasi tutti i processori di tale serie ha un core grafico integrato con frequenza da 350 Mhz che supportando visualizzazioni fino a 4096×2304@60Hz offre una discreta potenza di calcolo grafico alle applicazioni più comuni; il processore grafico supporta DirectX 12 ed OpenGL 4.4 ( e non è cosa da poco! ) questa versiona è comprensiva di dissipatore attivo ( la ventola ) assolutamente adatto a gestire la produzione del calore nelle condizioni standard.Nel complesso, per un costo attorno ai 120 Euro, è un ottimo acquisto per realizzare macchine prestanti a costi contenuti.( nella fascia dei processori I3 al momento * dicembre 2016 * è il miglior compromesso prezzo / prestazioni )

Ho assemblato un pc con questi componenti:CPUi3 6100Processore modello i3 a 3.7 ghz, sono rimasto soddisfatto pur non essendo adatto al rendering per il mio uso di navigazionegaming si comporta egregiamente. Provengo da un i5 3330 e non ho notato grandi differenze.SCHEDA MADREGygabyte ga h110m-s2hScheda madre economica ma funzionale, per chi non ha troppe pretese è ottima per qualità prezzo. Supporta le memorie ram ddr4 (2slot), ha 4 slot sata per collegare hard diskmasterizzatori.CASEItek ninjaNon è luminoso e bello come nelle immagini ma fa la sua bella figura, completo di ventole, questo case ha anche un lettore di memory card sulla parte frontale oltre alla presa per le cuffiemicrofono e una bellissima finestra laterale per mostrare l’interno del computer. C’è spazio per hard disk e ssd, l’alimentatore è riposto in basso e con questo case sono riuscito a far passare i cavi dietro la scheda madre in modo da tenere l’interno del case bello ordinato senza il passaggio di numerosi cavi.AlimentatoreCorsair vs450Nulla da dire si comporta egregiamente, ottima qualità costruttiva, i cavi sono lunghi abbastanza e regge senza problemi l’insieme dei miei componenti pur essendo solo di 450w.Scheda videoamd rx 460 4gbNulla da dire è davvero bella e riesce a reggere i giochi di ultima generazione senza nessun problema, ho giocato a fifa,battlefield,watchdogs 2, GTA 5, Ghost recon wildhunt senza il minimo lag alla risoluzione full HD. Dotata di uscita Displayport e hdmi.RamBallistix ddr4 8gbBel dissipatore e riconosciute senza problemi dalla scheda madre.

The cpu is perfect for a budget build, fully capable of playing all the latest games, I’d paired with a sensible gpu. I wouldn’t recommend anything higher than 1060 6gb though. The stock cooler is fine for an i3 although I wouldn’t use it on an i5 if you upgrade in the future.

While not as proficient at multicore as it’s bigger Skylake siblings(this bad boy is only dual core), this little guy is still a monster. Cheap and powerful. Performs surprisingly well as a mid level entry gaming cpu.

Bon processeur, un peu dépassé pour les jeux, mais qui remplit son rôle pour les fonctions basiques (bureautique, accès internet, etc….)Je pensais en changer d’ici quelques temps pour un processeur plus puissant, mais je verrais suivant l’évolution du i3 dans le temps.
