Reasonably Good Product for the Price ..
I installed the printer today post delivery, realised that the WiFi receptivity is WEAK relative to my earlier printer. Luckily I have 2 WiFi connections at my place, it eventually got connected to the second WiFi Router (the routers are in the next room). The printer has reasonably good Scan and Print quality. This is my preliminary feedback. Will update after few days of working. I have by now tested every feature except FAX in this printer. The SCANs are just beautiful and quite fast. TRUE VALUE FOR MONEY ..

I was surprised how easy it was to setup and print! Start the printer, point to WiFi and bam it’s ready to go! My dad who’s much older and not a tech person was able to print from his iPhone right off! And for a laser printer, the black ink is pretty dark even on lighter pages.

Scanner and all other functions work well. Wifi printing also works well.Duplex printing is not automatic … papar needs to be feed again…Paper tray not fully covered. This may cause harm in long run.

1st Impressions
I have been a Canon follower for a long time as it had delivered fairly good results, but lately have been miffed by its compatibility to Mac operating system.(I use a Mac computer). So i hesitatingly purchased this HP printer.The HP smart software is really better than the Canon software in usability and the smart tasks feature is quite friendly. It can color scan documents and photos which is really good whereas its competitor Canon model will not do this even though it is priced higher. This model can scan in color but cannot print in color.Connecting to the HP smart sometimes takes a little long especially uploading to Evernote, ( i don’t know why ? )but manageable.I have not really calculated the cost per page as i am not a heavy user to factor this aspect in buying this machine. Overall happy with the machine.

From the day I purchased the product, it is giving me trouble, the print quality was very bad, raised a complaint at the company, after repetitive calls a technician came and advised us to change the cartridge as the company provides only a sample cartridge which works only 30% capacity. So we purchased a new cartridge valued at rs. 5500 approx. But still the problem is the same. I am very disappointed with the HP services and product. It’s a waste of money for me. Kindly either give me my full refund, or replace it with a brand new product.

Great printer. Took 10 minutes to unpack and 5 minutes to set up which only requires plugging it in, connecting to laptop using the USB cable and downloading the driver and scanning software from the HP website. The printer is detected automatically as soon as the driver is installed. Also install the HP Smart app and plugin app on your mobile and follow the instructions to print documents and pictures from mobile to the printer it is connected to your wifi using the printer display panel wizard. Took another 5 minutes to get everything working just fine. Scanning using the ADF or flatbed is a breeze. Go for the ADF model because it allows scanning and printing legal size documents also in addition to the usual A4. Overall an unbeatable printer below Rs 20k. Yet to try out the fax.Update after 8 months continuous use: Working fine even after relocation across the country through packers and movers. Great value for money. Takes just minutes to set up. Retaining the original box and packing is advisable.
