For installing a OS to a m.2 SSD you need to have a SATA device available to load the OS, can’t use a USB Flash Drive or external USB DVD/CD drive. If installing Win 10 the original build (1507) will not allow some functions to work like for a Intel 12th gen cpu with included graphics. Also wouldn’t detect my Dell 24 inch monitor (a normal PNP monitor). Was finally able to download the latest build of Win 10 (21H2) and everything cleared up & it is now fully functional but it took many hours & days to fix these simple problems.

It only has two fan connectors,( not including the cpu fan connector), so you’ll have to buy a dual fan adapter or more if you want or need more than two case fans. Despite it only having two ram slots, it’s dual channel so it’s perfect for 2 8 gb ram sticks. This thing isn’t for super heavy duty gaming but it’s the perfect board for a mid range gaming build.

Installed a 12100 in this for one of my client’s builds. It worked. I will see how she lasts.

Funciona bien, la utilizo con un i3 12100F, las vrm se mantienen por debajo de 50C.

Was looking to build a budget gaming rig using the new i3-12100F. The CPU is fantastic for the price, but sadly all the new LGA1700 motherboards are incredibly expensive. This one fit the bill for my needs. It’s not fancy – No VRM heatsinks, no WiFi, and only 2 RAM slots, but it was cheaper than any other LGA1700 motherboard I’ve come across so I bit the bullet. Happy to report that I’ve had no issues with it so far while running the i3 with a GTX 1650 Super.

Better “value” board for 12th Gen Intel, should be listed cheaper since Gigabyte skimped out on an M.2 screw and put a very hard to use plastic holder in its place

I thought i’d purchased a brand new unit, but the one that was sent to me was a refurbished item. The motherboard in question was dead on arrival, and I had it sent back for a replacement. Which, sometimes can happen.Thankfully, the replacement process was quick and painless. The motherboard that was sent to me after the fact was brand new and in the box.The motherboard replacement that I DID receive works as it should, and im thankful for the quick turn-around.

I built a home computer mostly for web browsing and this motherboard does exactly what I need. I’m not a gamer and don’t need all the bells and whistles.I paired this with an Intel 12th gen 12100 and couldn’t be happier. Web browsing and office work are fast and snappy, although much of this relies on a fast internet connection. But opening programs is quick so I’m satisfied. It has HDMI and DisplayPort connections which is perfect for me for a dual-monitor setup. I don’t need a ton of USB ports so I could care less. There’s no Bluetooth or WiFi but I don’t use those for this setup. I enabled XMP easily and am running 3200MHz perfectly. I’m using a SATA SSD drive with no issues. I went with the economical choice – I don’t transfer a ton of files and NVME would be unnecessary and would provide no performance gain.Know what you’re getting in terms of features and appreciate the price. Not everybody needs $300 overkill motherboards. This one is a value winner.

Product came DOA. Spent hours troubleshooting new build only to realize it was a bad component. Seller refunded without problem.
