Rohit Haldar –
Good for gaming. I ordered this because I need budget gaming keyboard and it is good at typing also. It cheapest mechanical keyboard with rgb.
Gamer368 –
The keys lose their clicky sounds within a month and one of the LEDs died .not recommended
Vibhor Bhagat –
Worked well while it did, but after three months of moderate usage, several keys are now barely working and the keyboard is pretty much non functional. After sales experience is poor because the Frontech customer support does not even recognize this keyboard along with many peripherals, let alone help you with it.

Hello guys today I am going to tell you about Frontech gaming keyboard so it cost me around 1700 and I give the ratings from 5 star I will give it three star because it have some RGB issues and I recommend you only buy this keyboard if you get it under 2000 if it cost over 2000 I recommend that don’t buy this keyboard
JKLAKSHMIPATHY –
Crazy value. Got it for 1399. Really good feel and it’s lightweight. And it’s Frontech too. I don’t know about other keyboards as this is my first time with a mechanical keyboard. Light colours are fixed but it has a variety of lighting effects
Mrityunjoy Barman –
Good for budget gaming.
Shashank Shandilya –
After approximately 1 year of use backlight of some keys stopped working. Otherwise its working fine 👌
Mr. singh –
Worth buying..very nice durable mechanical keyboard
Mihir waghlea –
Nice product
samarth mehta –
The product arrived on time but with the worst packaging possible. The whole box was torn. I am giving it 3 stars because the packaging was soo bad. But the product is good, the keyboard does not sticks to the surface, thats a small problem for me.
KS –
Edit: After 9 months of use, led of two switches is kaput. Reducing one star from rating.—————————————————————–For 1700 this is the best branded mechanical keyboard you can get. For people who are looking to switch to mechanical keyboard but want to try it first before investing in those premium ones, go ahead. I have tried it with Windows, MacOs and Ubuntu, it’s compatible with all of them.
guptaji –
Just bought this as an impulse buy because I wanted to get a feel of what mechanical keyboards are like but wasn’t willing to pay exorbitant cost of good mechanical keyboards. Well, I got what I paid for. The keyboard is mechanical alright, uses some Chinese blue switches which have the loud tic-tac sounds. It lights up in the dark too, so that’s a plus point I suppose. But the good stuff ends there, everything else is just bad. While it was fine initially, the keys became really hard to press after a few weeks of use. My fingers started actually aching after typing on it because of how much force was required to press the keys. The lettering on some keys also has started to fade off, with just few months of use.It doesn’t have any multimedia keys, nor does it have any markings for the alternate functions that some keys can do so its impossible to remember the extra functions for this. I had to look up for a user manual online to even figure out how to change the lighting modes. Oh and the most amazing thing is that for some reason this keyboard doesn’t play well with Linux. I’m a programmer and I dual boot Linux and Windows, this keyboard didn’t have any problems with Windows. But on Linux my PC started to show random kernel panics , and in the dmesg logs I can see that the keyboard was causing some weird errors, so yeah it’s useless in programming for me lmao
svar –
It’s the best mechanical Keybord you can find at this price. The only issue is some keys are quite wobbly its not that serious of an issue but it irritates me a lot. But you can look past them. I strongly suggest you to buy

Just go for it… Amazing product

The Frontech seal was already broken and in one key there was no light. The Frontech box was already torn
Ashwin –
It’s a nice keyboard. I had not used a mechanical keyboard earlier, so this one was a revelation. The keys have a distinct clicky sound which is a bit distracting, but not a deal breaker. The bigger keys are harder to press and do not have the same feel as the other keys. The box was previously opened when I got it. There were signs of usage. Maybe it was returned by a previous buyer.
Sourish Pal –
Light stopped working and some switches not responding.

Fully mechanical as given in the description. For 1500, this is a vfm keyboard. Lighting effects are there, around 20. I liked the size of the keyboard, perfect for gaming. Also, the key travel distance is adequate for me, without causing any fatigue.
Mir MM –
The quality is quite good for such an inexpensive keyboard, but as another reviewer pointed out, there’s something with the spacing of keys, or their height, or just the fact that this is my first mechanical keyboard; I’m ending up with too many mis-hits on adjacent keys while typing. Will take some time getting used to, or maybe I need to use a hand rest. I’m still figuring it out.EDIT: 1 YEAR FOLLOW-UPI still haven’t figured it out. Typing on this keyboard is a horrible experience, with too many mis-hits. If you are a fast typist, you will not be comfortable at all with this keyboard. For gaming, and casual use, the keyboard is excellent. Should have gone with the TVS Gold!!

This is an worst product , you will not get warrenty for this it’s as open box keyboard . During my order it’s clearly mentioned so better go for other keyboard with warrenty
Satyam –
Very good rgb . Worth 1.6k. less expensive as compared to other mechanical keyboard. Better than amazombasics keyboard. Height of keyboard comfortable to use.
Amit Bhakuni –
Amazing mechanical keyboard, that too in a very cheap rate. Just wait for the sale. Feels good, key are clicky. The only problem i get with this is that the key size is small and i many times you end up stroking 2 keys at a time. As i was using laptop keyboard which have big sized key than this so i got a problem adjusting to it. The typing experience is also very good

I am sure much fancier mechanical keyboards abound- but I am not a keyboard snob.I was simply looking for a keyboard that is nice to type on and does not cost an arm and leg.At 2K, this keyboard is a steal for a true mechanical. The switches are MX blue clones and a massive improvement over regular membranes.Anti ghosting is irrelevant to me but it does register 6 simultaneous key pressesAs for the negatives, the lights are rather blingy but can be switched off altogether (thankfully)Also, the keys are fairly noisy .But for less than 2K, one can’t really complain!

You never get a mechanical keyboard at this price. Just go for it. Even after few hours of use, I dont feel going back to membrane keyboard. It is a quality product at very reasonable price.Cons- keys appeared to be a little smaller but the space between them is enough to compensate that.
Pallavi –
I am not a gamer but my son is and based on his usage, this mechanical keyboard is excellent for a reasonable price. Precise and types great.

A very good keyboard to begin your mechanical keyboard journey with. This is much better than any membrane keyboard you will ever use.Been using for more than 1 year and still working fine, although the blue switches slowly lose their crisp sound but that is expected from this brand of switches.

The great board is great for the price but the keys are too small. You might get some trouble while typing but you will get used to it.
Sridharan –
Good and Cheap Mechanical Keyboard comes with Blue switches (Not cherry mx) not gonna complain in this price range. Go for it. Long keys are wobbly but it’s ok.
Lucky Goswami –
Very bad product and bad packing
Sandeep –
I have been using it for over 2months now. The major problem I noticed is with the size. When typing, I always end up tapping on wrong keys due to its small/compact form factor. This is also due to the fact that the keyboard/keys are positioned little high and I’m not using any pads. The good part is the mechanical keys. The performance & the sound made while typing is good.

Using Mechanical Switch Keyboard for first time.Keyboard look and feel durable.Required wrist rest for long duration working.Mostly all type of RGB effects. Only thing is colour if fixed for each row. But you will like it.Only Problem is key wobble a lot. While typing it gives really bad feeling. And I haven’t used it a lot since day of purchase. Also I don’t have any idea why I’ve purchased this product.

I got it for 1400.It is genuine product from Frontech.Packaging was good and delivered before desired date. If price is 2k then wait for some time.I am using it for programming and this is my first Mechanical keyboard. If you are planning to buy Mechanical keyboard under 2k then close your eyes and buy this, you won’t be disappointed.I don’t don’t know about its performance for gaming but I can definitely tell you that it is great for typing. And yes body is made up of plastic but it is very high quality that makes it heavy also cable quality is very nice.

Vipul Jain –
Don’t buy this keyboard, this has been a huge let down by Frontech,I had been using this keyboard for 3-4 months now and the esc key had already stopped working properly, and many key strocks are taking 2 input instead of one.
cranky –
The RGB is like a discotheque and switching it off means you won’t be able to see much of the keys. With it on, you still can’t see much of the keys because it’s a dazzling lightshow. I’ll admit the first statement is an overreaction, you can see the keys just fine but the lights inside make the job quite difficult. As the day gets brighter out, it gets tougher to see translucent keys. At least they’re translucent and not transparent, which would be horrendous. What this keyboard needs is set of opaque keycaps and the internal power line to the LEDs cut, then it’ll be a killer option. As it is it’s almost impossible to find a keyboard that doesn’t blind you with gaudy and tasteless lighting, so this follows the norm.I sort of knew this and went in prepared. I’ve been investing in some basic hardware to fall back on in case my ageing mainline products start going bad. This keyboard is worth every rupee, and then some. At 1399 you get a full-size 104-key unit with basic but serviceable mechanical keys, in a slightly lightweight plastic chassis. The cable reeks quality, it’s thick and flexible without feeling like it’s made of cheese. The chassis is very light for a mech keyboard, it’s lighter than the Logi MK540 wireless keyboard, but is much more hefty than a cheap wired keyboard. At this price, you can’t expect metal. While it’s lighter than my Gigabyte Cherry boards, it shows no signs of slip while typing. There’s no flex that I can discern either, so Frontech struck a good balance here. There are some conflicting reports on what keys are used. The touch is very light, almost membrane like but unfortunately so is the feel. The keycaps sit a little loose on, the tend to sort of wobble when they’re touched and you can tell they’re not a great mechanical fit. They also rattle when tapped, and it definitely feels a few steps back from a good set of keys.Again, given what I paid, I’ll be happy as long it holds up for a year or two.

This keyboard is good entry level mechanical board with chinese blue switches , it’s heavy and all plastic construction maybe there is some metal to add weight to the board…keys are good but spacing is little tight n you might hit adjacent keys while typing…key are illuminated row wise , leds are individually controlled but they are controlled in a row n there is no additional software to play around with these leds. Some pre-programmed patterns are there to play around…for the price there is nothing to crib about this boardYes the switches are blue and they are quite loud and you can feel the click 🙂

The mechanical keys, backlight brightness level and lighting effects (about 20 and custom ones too), the anti-ghosting modes (6 and N-key rollover), the looks and quality are well balanced for the price. Everything is so great and I truly feel satisfied for the price I bought it. Definitely suitable for gaming, coding or typing. There is no big issue to complain as everything works fine, however there are little things I have to say. The keycaps have less surface area, and it took me a little while to avoid accidental keypresses. From a design perspective, I have to say that the typeface used for the keys looks a bit old and ugly. Also, the keys are too shiny on the sides, so the lighting reflections don’t look so good. Putting those tiny things aside, this keyboard is really great for the price of Rs 1400.

Great.. Keyboard is performing well. Backlight is adequate (not low or not too bright)update after 6 months : the device stopped registering keystrokes. W key is not registering in crucial gaming moments. tried Frontech replacement it was very horrible. never buy any Frontech products. Post replacement, it was fine for another 6 months. after that same issue again .

Worst nightmare. This keyboard increases my blood pressure by 10 points, at least, whenever I use this piece of S.Some time, in a single key press, it send 3-4 keystrokes.Sometimes, you have to hit the key with hammer to get the keystroke to computer. When it comes to keys such as control or shift, I could never be sure that it is pressed or not.Don’t buy it for programming, Don’t but it for gaming. But only if you are suffering from low blood pressuurre, please.

I am writing this review with this keyboard. This is a good candidate for those who are buying their first mechanical keyboard and looking in the price category of <2000. Following are good and bads about this product:Pros:1) Mechanical keyboard in this price range2)) Audible clicky sound3) Light effects are present4) Elevation feet presentCons:1) The font is bulky but it is better than Vara where ‘shift’ is represented by arrows2) Rows have uniform color and purple color on the last row looks hideous3) Stabilization of long keys viz. shift, plus sign, backspace and enter keys is not upto the mark.4) Post actuation point, you can hear a little spring noise/whine5) Wrist rest may be required6) Keycaps made of cheap ABS plasticBut despite cons, this is a good keyboard in this budget price range and maybe good for entry level mechanical keyboard enthusiasts. It is worth the price but you can not expect Ducky/varmilo level quality. Afterall we get what we pay for

Purchased on discounted price around ₹1500/-.I think it worths the discounted price as there’s no other option.Keyboard looks cheap but typing experience is better than other non-mech keyboards.Looking at the quality it feels like a Chinese item which is being rebranded and sold by everyone else.Frontech should have done some quality control. Finally,If you need mechanical keyboard and you are on budget then you can go for this.
Abhishek Sharma –
Using since 1 year and it’s still working like charm. One of the best decision was to choose Frontech keyboard, it is having mechanical keyboard touch. And the RGB is enough to empress our gaming or coder friends. Overall for this price it is worth for every rupee.

I purchased the “Logitech MK295 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo – SilentTouch” just two months earlier. It’s a kind of good but for a limited use.It is a total waste if you are a coder or do lots of typing.Hence, I just purchased this “Frontech Mechanical Gaming Keyboard “, and now I can say it is the best keyboard at this price range, especially at 1399/-.(FYI, I have been using “Frontech 5187URF2 Wireless Media Center Multimedia Keyboard” for last 13 years for extensive coding, YES, today as well. Hence, you techies can imagine that what I needed)Don’t think twice, just buy and enjoy it.
