Socket Spacing needs redesign

Over all the product is good, but only issue is that scoket Spacing is not that great for bigger OnePlus adapters. I was using an universal adapter for my mobile charger. The extension cable length is 1.5m only, if your requirement is good for means go for it. If your male end of adapter is small means this is a good product to go. For bigger adapter or plugs you need another adapter to use near sockets.

The cord length is way too low, as u can see I’m using this for my monitor and PS4 and they work well, this is made for smaller electronics like PCs ans TVs etc , if there’s anything i will update here, but for now it’s good, wish there were more switches for each connection but it’s one switch for everything

It is not only useful as extension board, but also useful to check whether wall power connection is correct or not by the 3 LED indicators. I checked my house all 3 pins power point sockets. Looking good product, it has a spike guard, overload protection, 4mts cord, Indian two pin fits perfectly but a little loose for EU two pin.Don’t know if safe to use only one led indicator is blinking, on the instruction manual everything is ok if led 1 and 3 blinks but mine one blink

This is one of the affordable spike guard in the market. I suggest Black Cord to put 2 MOVs with a resettable tharmal fuse in between them. It has a MOV inside but having 2 MOVs and a tharmally resettable fuse is great for lightning protection.

● The cord is white in colour with red inserts and black print. It is around 11 inches long and 2 inches wide with 1 inch high● There are four sockets and switches, a 6A fuse and four LED indicators. The sockets are labelled Computer, Monitor, Printer and Speaker● The sockets are shuttered with rubber doors● There is an LED indicator to indicate power state and three other indicators that show various states◆ The cable is around a meter and a half in length with standard 3-pin plug◆ There are nail sockets at the back to wall-hang this strip● This can be opened for repairs by means of the six screws at the back● Overall, the build quality is strong and sturdy** Usage & Performance **● The strip is powered on by On/Off switch. If everything is alright, 1st and 3rd LEDs light up and power will be through into the first socket● The three LED indicators light up in different combinations to indicate various states of filters which are marked clearly. I have never seen any of those combinations coming up and I dont really know what they are either● The sockets accept Indian, US and EU plugs. It accepts 2 pin as well as 3 pin plugs● There is plenty of room between the sockets● The toal wattage of devices that can be connected is 1500watts. In the event of an overload, the 6A fuse blows out and the Fuse Blown LED lights up● The rubber shutters avoid chances for accidental contact with socket pins● There are four sockets and three switches only. One socket is directly wired with On/Off switch. I dont think this is a weird design since they have designed to use it with a computer system. So, if the computer is connected to the directly wired socket, all other devices that are dependant on computer will not be needed if computer is turned off. This means if the On/Off switch is on, computer turns on and other devices can be turned on with individual switches.● Eventhough the labelling says this would filter radio interferences due to radio and electromagnetic signals, I had no opportunity to test that** I dont like these **● The length of the cable is too short for an extension cord. I would be more happy if it was more than 2 meters● The colour is white and the finish is matte-like. This will definitely catch a lot of dirt and dust over a period of time** Summary **● I use this at my TV stand to connect DVD player, Set Top Box, speakers, etc. and is quite happy with the performance so far● I paid Rs.449 in Feb-17. Eventhough there are a few things that I dont like on these, I very well knew these from the product description. I had purchased them 2 years ago since then they are my first favourite. So this time also I bought one again. The fuse is helpful if a high voltage comes through the circuit which is an advantage of this extension which many big company fails to provide in their extension and one can change the fuse if it got damaged in the process.The second advantage of this extension is the display lights which will help to determine whether current is coming in right ways or there is a short in the circuit.Also it comes with a three pin plug and proper earthing and hence very much useful for appliances like desktop, printer etc.Just go for it.

The MRP is 496 but I got is for Rs 320. It was mfd in January 2021. It is working fine and serves the purpose. If you are looking for connecting your laptop and other accessories of computer then you can blindly go for it. 4 sockets will be enough.

This Black Cord shows you much information using its LEDs🚦 . The box is white with individual switches for each socket. Also, have a master switch that turns off the complete unit ⚡.The box is lightweight, sockets are bit tight, plug unplugs 🔌 frequency can make it light over time. However, I used for my Eq, amp and for mobile 📱charge so plugs are fixed. So not a problem.Can’t say about a long term deal because it’s been a month only using this extension. The cable length is 1.5 seems adequate for my needs but a 2m cable is a decent size for an extension. Cable is white and thick enough.Looks good and no fancyMany customers have issues about the quality, replace it under the replacement period if you receive a faulty or broken unit.Rest nothing to say about an extension. It’s a good buy from Black Cord 👍

Yesterday there was a voltage high in our area and the transformer burst.i was working on my laptop at the same time.my 50k television,my 2L laptop,my 40k mobile was connected to this extension cord and were running simultaneously.a sudden voltage high along with the transformer burst made this extension cord also burst it’s not working now.the best part is my frnd in other room is using other extension cord (costlier and a reputed brand than this) with his mobile charging and laptop as well his extension cord was also bursted but his laptop,mobile was also damaged with that.here in my case only the extension cord got burst all my devices were as safe as before.this ₹400 extension cord had saved my 3L worth gadgets.The cord is not working now that’s ok it saved my gadgets all other appliances which are not connected to this that are running are not working now.even the tubelight got burst.So i highly recommend this one to save your expensive gadgets.you don’t know when the power voltage goes high bcoz electricity is as powerful as dangerous.even i in my lifetime never faced such electric issue this is the first time on our area and i was safe bcoz of this

1. Got what I asked for.2. Don’t buy it for cord length. It’s insignificant.3. I Don’t know about its EMI reduction. No tools to check.4. As I don’t practice Electrical Engineering, this product makes it easy for me to check for faults in my electrical supply. e.g. I realised that a 15A extension I had bought had L/N reversed (which was unexpected) and I also had no ground connected in some of the 3 pin outlet sockets out of the wall. I wouldn’t have thought to check for all of those myself.5. No objective problems with the product itself.

Neat and Sturdy
Earlier bought a Syska spike guard, but had to return it because my mobile/laptop chargers were not fitting the sockets perfectly. But this one looks sturdy and fits my chargers to a tee. Nice product for a nominal price.

I have a smart tv which had faced voltage issue and stopped working because I had used some low quality spike guard, I switched to Black Cord and this has been working since last 2 years without any issue. I even bought another one for my Computer and other peripherals.Buy this and forget about appliances getting damaged because of voltage.The Cord could have been bit longer in length but it does the work.

I had purchased them 2 years ago since then they are my first favourite. So this time also I bought one again. The fuse is helpful if a high voltage comes through the circuit which is an advantage of this extension which many big company fails to provide in their extension and one can change the fuse if it got damaged in the process.The second advantage of this extension is the display lights which will help to determine whether current is coming in right ways or there is a short in the circuit.Also it comes with a three pin plug and proper earthing and hence very much useful for appliances like desktop, printer etc.Just go for it.

All types of India two pin and three pin plugs can be used. While us make 2 pin plugs can be used. While USA 3 pin plugs are slightly loose and hence no proper connection is made.The outside power fluctuations are being superseded in the output by surge suppressor, is plus point.

going to be a bit lengthy.The seller I purchased from described the chord length 4.5meters, while it actually is 1.5m. So it is short for my purpose So I did not use it and returning it.The product is heavy and made of good quality plastic. It has sturdy universal plugs with good amount of gap between. So it seems to work for long. It also comes with detailed indication lights and a leaflet with explanation.I made mistake of not viewing the seller’s review. So I am returning it to seller of my own cost (190/-). Seller has set the return policy like that.Purchase from a reputed seller and I think the product will not disappoint you

No complaints about the build quality of the product. Decent quality cable with a length of 1.5 m. Has a fuse so if it does cut out, one needs to just replace the fuse. Plugged the computer and monitor for the time being and it has worked well. Individual buttons is a blessing. Button quality is good. Also an indicator displays if the plug point is working fine. Spacing between each socket could have been better spaced especially if the plug is much larger.

Everything is good. Individual buttons for each socket. Be careful if prioer earthing is not done in home. The filter circuit inside may pass some current to the earth and other apppliances may give you shock if there is no main earthing in home.
