UPS is making noise. My engineer said that the coil of the Transformer is faulty, that’s why it’s making noise. Best is to get it replaced now. Instead of getting more troubles later.

The reason for me to buy this was simply because I needed a powerful ups to run my 650W PC setup. Being a gamer myself, I love the RGB setup and the lights on this thing just adds up (sadly it only comes with one color). Provides decent enough time for power backup, so you can worry less about power cuts to ruin your work. With the price it came with, it’s worth it 🙂

I don’t know how it got so many positive reviews. It does not last long first of all. Second, if you connect your wifi for backup, speed goes down, third (the most annoying thing) Beeping!! It will beep every few seconds and once power backup starts going down on the ups, it will continuously beep non-stop for about 7-10 minutes before it shuts down completely. I regret buying this honestly. Stay away if you can.
Follet J. –
At the beginning it was working fine but after 4 months only, the battery gives 20 minutes with a laptop connected to it only! Plus it should not be kept in a room as the sound and lights are really annoying when there is a powercut!

This product is mainly for high end computer /laptops /gaming system /coding/ia works

I bought this to power my 55 inch tv + Ps5. It can’t take load of both. Although, it can still go for sometime if you’re not playing anything. But, you can’t guess that in advance of a power cut. It won’t even give a warning or 1 min supply, simply cuts off. Don’t buy if you are buying for Ps5 + Tv. Only tv it can manage though.
Anil Kumar V –
Using the same for a 65 inch TV and Bose Single bar speaker. Gives good backup for power outages and avoids disconnection during switchover during power cuts.

I have a 750w psu from Antec and RX 580 GPU and i5 9th gen cpu, 16 gigs ram, I basically bought this 1200 va ups for gaming but I was in doubt between 1200 va and 1500 va, since there’s a huge price between them, I went for 1200 va model. I have connected only the powercable of cpu at the back of ups, the rest are all backed up by my home inverter. While gaming it gives a backup for about 30 to 45 mins, I have also overclocked my GPU and that draws more power from psu, despite of that it gives a good 30 mins backup while gaming on an average. I guess if you connect monitor, powercable and speakers, then you might get upto 10-20 mins backup while gaming. When this ups arrived. I took it out of the box and connected to the outlet and I was unable to get power to the ups, reason being, I wasn’t aware that I have to first plug the battery port at the back which is marked in yellow. I have called customer support but they were unable to assist me, lol. I read the manual and figured out myself, (felt so stupid). So make sure to connect the battery plug (which is at the back of the ups and marked in yellow) first and then connect this ups to the power outlet.Been using this for a week now. No problem so far. It’s a good investment + got it in a very good deal

As with all of this new series, the battery connector is unplugged on delivery and has to be manually inserted all the way into the socket to enable the UPS to power up. The lights are very green and very bright, and the UPS runs very hot. At high temperatures the battery will overheat and fill your room with the smell of hot acid.I bought a 900VA and 1200VA, the former is actively cooled with a fan pulling air through its vents. This means the internals run at about 5 degrees above ambient, which is acceptable. The 1200VA unit is a backup, but I do use for running BIOS updates and drive image backups on fairly power-intensive setups and it hasn’t hiccuped on me. I did once witness both units glitch badly on power restoration from the utility line, both units sprung to life from the ‘Off’ position all by themselves, which shouldn’t have happened.I have owned multiple APC UPS units over the years and these new Schneider units are probably the worst I’ve ever used, with extremely tiny batteries that don’t last at all. I’ll compare this to the Back-UPS Pro 1500, which I also use as the backup for my daily driver, and the BR-1000, the closest real alternative. The biggest issue with the Easy-UPS is the limited load capacity due to a poorer conversion circuit (lower PF). For this 1200VA unit, the max load is specced at 650W, which is 54% of the VA rating. The BR-1500 is 57.6%, and the BR-1000 is 60%. Even the venerable BX-1100 offered 660W of load capacity in spite of having lower VA rating, though it shipped with the same 84WH slim battery. The BR-1000/1500 come with a 24V battery pack, expandable battery capacity, a very informative LCD display, and (single-use) surge protection circuits for your LAN connections. They also have two surge protection outputs, as well as monitoring capability either by HWInfo (which detects it as a connected battery) or the APC monitoring software. This Easy UPS 1200 (and 900) offers two additional backup outlets in place of the surge-only outlets, so all six sockets offer backup instead . It has the USB port on the front, which is very handy. It is also fanless, which is a massive bonus. On the BR series, the fan is *loud* I measured it at 58dB/2m distance. It’s like sitting next to a pump motor. The Easy UPS is silent, but you do sacrifice a lot of performance and backup capability with it. It’s also cheaper than the BR series, so there’s that.I would heed APC’s warning about extension cords. The conversion circuits probably can’t handle the additional inductance of any sort of cable, so as far as possible use the sockets on the back. This probably means you’ll be up close and personal with the UPS and its irritatingly bright Alien-green LED lights. Enjoy!

Product APC 1200VA UPS turned out to be defective as had no Power Source Supply despite switching on the Power Push Button, no Green light glowing. Even the output seemed dead battery as it did not deliver any output as well. Went for a Replacement but seller is no longer delivering it to my location, hence opted for a Refund.Disappointed that a brand new product with no physical damage from outside can be defective, as if no Testing was done before packing the UPS

The unit was working fine for one week. It was continuously kept on and connected to my gaming pc. After a week, when I was using my PC, the UPS suddenly turned off and started beeping continuously. Even after disconnecting all loads from it, the UPS would simply continuously beep and would not give any output. Ordered a replacement device. I’ll update after I receive the new one.

In my area, there are no power cuts but occasionally the electricity goes off for a minute or so. The sudden power cut is problematic with the sensitive computer parts, this UPS is works exactly what it is designed for – to protect when a sudden electricity outage. The maximum run time on battery so far I checked is about 10 minutes but have not checked full run time. With a load of about 500 watts, this is very good for any gaming PC. For regular computers which consume less power, the run time can be more.

Three words to describe product: silent, reliable and well built. Con: the price should have a bit less.

I am specifically writing this review for people who have beefy gaming PC and which require more wattage than a normal PC.I have a 27″ 2K monitor with a 750 watt Smps of PC which has RTX 3060 GPU and everytime I had a power cut, this UPS provided enough time to leave the game and turn of your system safely in time.It has a green led as well so it fits well with my overall RGB components. For a safe gaming and for your PC health, this is a recommended UPS. Go for it.

I think these APC BVX models were launched by APC in Dec 2020, so there aren’t a lot of user reviews for these models online. This one costs about 2k more than APC BX 1100 (older) model, but went for it anyways as I didn’t want to deal with the fan noise in the older model. Quite happy that there is no fan in this newer model and it is absolutely silent. If you have no issues with the fan noise, you might wanna go for BX 1100.This one has a sleek look with not so dim green lights on both sides towards the front, which is quite distracting in a dark room. The lights could have been dimmer. This is my only issue.Gives me about 8 mins of backup with a 43” Samsung 4K TV and the PlayStation 5.Edit – For people reporting it is not working when delivered, you need to remove the yellow latch at the back. That latch/separator is used to keep the power disconnected during transportation. If only people had the patience to read the manuals, good products wouldn’t get bad reviews.

Been using the 1200 va APC for a couple of months now. I am running two 3060 ti graphics cards overclocked, amd 3500x cpu with 24 inch monitor. When I add a third 3060 Ti overclocked card, the ups gets switched off when main power goes off. So the load capacity is around 350 watts, though stated to be 600 watt which is incorrect. Ensure computer, monitor and other computer accessories are connected to individual power slots in back of ups, don’t plug multiple devices to single slot. I had issues of ups giving clicking sounds when doing the same when main power goes. Also ensure all devices connected directly and not going via extension boards. I have invertor line to ups and then connected to pc, no issues when main power goes off with upto 350 watt load. Earlier 700 va ups was not holding power and pc getting shutdown when switching to invertor line so went for this 1200 va model.

I am staying in a apartment and we have a good generator. Whenever there is a power failure , we get the supply from generator. For some reason after putting this ups, my Automatic change over switch is failing frequently. I changed almost 3 times. Now I turned off this UPS completely and planning for a inverter. Please check with the experts before buying this expensive UPS.

I bought this to connect my Xbox X + LG C1 Oled ( 48 inch ) + Wi-Fi router.Back up is around 10 mins, It’s good for power cuts between 2-5 mins.in my area power cuts usually for 2-5 mins.More power cuts..? go for a inverter by spending around 20k. I suggest NOT to by an UPS
