My first port of call when I need further information on matters relating to Lightroom Classic. An added bonus is that if you register your purchase of the paper version, you are then able to download as a .pdf, which is regularly updated as and when Adobe makes periodic ‘point’ updates to the software.

I have used Photoshop Elements for a long time. From PSE 6 through PSE 11. I really do like Lightroom for organizing and some very nice post processing features.

I’m just still in the first chapter….its that awesome to read and i’m learning so much in just the first few pages….Recommended for anyone new or old to Lightroom…..

Recommend highly. Nat Coalson clearly took a lot of time and demonstrates expertise in covering this topic. Once you read this text you will know how to use Lightroom. Then you can really learn from experience.

Product is used to complement Adobe CS5, as I am a keen amateur photographer with giga bytes of photos to manage

I think I prefer paper rather on line. My fault. Contents seem good. I just struggle to navigate easily around the electronic version.

It has a massive amount of detailed information .. Well written, easy to follow, need to have the time to digest all that is written about.

Lightroom is one of those products that you need but dont need – if you shot as i do and have many photos to catalog ,and use a rating system its priceless – if you are a casual shooter that shoot for the fun of it there are other packages that would fit you just fine – with that being said – there are thing that i like about lightroom – I would not advise upgrading from Lightroom 3 – but for some reason you need to start cataloging ans keeping track of photos it would be my choice

Clear, informative writing with just the right level of detail. The author has obviously worked very hard to make sure the reader understands each feature, and he takes pains to warn the reader where things could go wrong. He’s not the happy-talk kind of author who skims over things. Coalson just explains what to do so you can go to work. But I have to deduct one star for the abysmally small screen shots of the user interface, where the Lightroom control panels are difficult to decipher, as well as the poor choice of thin font which is difficult to read under tungsten light. Are you listening, Mr. Publisher?

This took me a while to get into, but. once I had done so, I found it very useful. Only four stars, due to slight difficulty finding my way round.
