I have used Adobe Acrobat for years. I love how simple it is and the features that it has. It is a great product. (Just wish it weren’t so expensive!)

I’ve been using Adobe Acrobat for so many years. (started with v. 8) and every time a new version comes, I can’t help but to be amazed with the number of new features the program brings. Among those most notorious:ability to archive documents that can’t be altered; create fillable forms; re-arrange documents; easy distribution. This version even allows you to insert images and embed videos in one snap.

I bought Acrobat Pro XI something like 9 years ago, and decided that I wanted to upgrade to the new non-subscription version for this decade. It took a little getting used to because the interface had changed. But fortunately there are YouTube videos that show you how to place the icons for your favorite tasks at the top. Now that I have all of my favorite icons at the top, it is more efficient than ever using this program. Also, one annoyance with the old version was it was sometimes cumbersome and awkward moving pages around on the document. With this new version you have an Organize Pages screen that gives you a nice, full-page view of the thumbnails of your pages, and it is much easier and more positive moving pages around.Sometimes I need to export a PDF version to Excel, and with the old version you had to highlight the cells that you wanted to export, right-click, select Export, choose the file type, and then export the file. Cumbersome. With the new version you just click on the Export icon, select what type of document you want to export (Excel is one of the options), and export the file.Another feature I like is that the program has a new Home tab, which amongst other things, gives you a full-page, scrolling list of all of the recent documents that you’ve opened, making it easier to find a recent file if needed.I really like the updated Export function, because sometimes I need to export pages that are not adjacent to each other, which takes additional work. With this new version it gives you thumbnails of the pages after you click on the Export icon, and you can highligh exactly what pages you want, and then export.I also like the ability to merge open PDF files into a single file. I have clients who will sometimes send me multiple PDF files on an email which need to be in a single file. With this new version I can open all of the files from the email (that shows up as tabs) and then select a tool to merge all open files into a single PDF file. The program even helps you along with instructions on what to do next. It’s definitely an improved program. The developers really made an effort to make it better, and I highly recommend it to anyone who works with documents a lot.
